• Lisa (1/5): Awful very poor communication, the host is ignoring my messages so I dont believe he wants to help - Nothing, it started badly as someone was in the room we were meant to have , we were given another room by the cleaner, it was filthy, leftover towels from the previous people in the shower, don't think it was clean bedding, foot marks on the walls & a massive hole just outside the door which looked like the wall had been kicked in. I reported all this to the host on what's app, he has seen all my messages but ignored me , no way was this worth £240 and I am trying yo get a refund. This was a weekend break for myself and my daughter and these problems weren't a good start to our weekend, I wouldn't have felt safe there either As above

• Anonymous (3/5): Poor - Good location The apartment was not very clean, with hair in the shower. The TV didn’t work. We did reach out to the host multiple times—including calling and we finally got a reply and he replied to send a video,after sending the video he mentioned a colleague was supposed to check on the issues, but no one ever showed up. After informing the host again, my messages were ignored. Very disappointing experience due to poor communication.

The pictures are deceiving, the apartment is tiny, the photos are not of the apartment I received and are also taken from an angle that makes the whole thing look much better than it is. The term “luxury flats” is clearly misleading, and the apartment is also not very easily accessible. I really don't wish anything bad on any landlord, but I still have to honestly say that for me it was on the verge of a scam.

• Baljit (1/5): Bad - Nothing. Poor communication, lied to multiple times, locked out of our own apartment. Told us someone was coming with keys for 10 hours, had to sleep on the stairs the owner did not care. Landlord didn’t leave an emergency contact and then got angry when we called him (in an emergency) and told us to stop calling him so much so he blocked my number. Called a locksmith myself to get into the apartment and wasted my own money but he could not get into the apartment either. Landlord left us (two girls alone in London at night) with no bed, no clothes, no bathroom, no electricity, phones dead. Called the police and made a report twice. Didn’t get into our room until half 7 the next day. So much more also happened.

• Edit (3/5): Never again. - Location.He allowed me to leave the bags in the room early in the morning. There was poor communication until the day before our stay. The room was not very clean, and I'm not sure the bedding had been changed. There was no bin in the room, and it was quite small. The walls were dirty and need some updating. Additionally, the fire alarm was broken. We weren't allowed to stay longer on New Year's morning, even though we only asked for an extra hour. 🤷🏻‍♀️

• Holman (1/5): Bad - I was charged and was not able to access the property at all - the host was then in contact way past my stay where I had to arrange alternative accommodation and would actually like a refund.
• Lapish (3/5): good location, poor facilities - location good, nice walk from nearest tube, only 800m away No kettle, no bin. no glasses, no bowls, no utensils. The remote control from for the TV (there were 2 but neither compatible. Contacted the owner for the above and was told that they might be dropped over the next day, they never arrived.

• Niamh (7/5): Basic, clean, perfect for a night to have a weekend in London! Was nervous reading a lot of the reviews but ignore them - For the price it was perfect! It’s compact but we just stayed for one night so had everything we needed! Was clean and tidy and took about 30 mins to get from central. Nothing we majorly didn’t like. For that cheap for somewhere in London it was perfect. Only thing could have done with some glasses not just mugs but only if I was being really picky

We had a bad experience with communicating to him. There was hair of previous visitors on bed, toilet seat was broken, tea cups were dirty. You could get better accommodation for this price.

• Lincoln (1/5): Over all a nice looking place but terrible customer service wouldn’t recommend anyone goes here nightmare on Elm street - Modern Tv was nice Well first of all there was only one towel and it looked used with brown patches on it, dirty plates and cutlery. The heating was temporary on and off. No floor mat in the bathroom. Stayed two nights asked for fresh towels and was told it will come, it never did then was told the cleaner said they came and we declined which was a lie.

• Martin (7/5): Nice place to stay. - Great communication prior to my stay. Nice room. Secure. Convenient and easy. Slightly non-soundproofed if you have noisy neighbours. But not a terrible thing.

The two cups in the cupboard were full of water and unclean. The plates were also unclean. There was no sponge to wash up these dirty dishes. The headboard of the bed seemed broken, it kept rocking back and forth.

• Hija (1/5): I don’t recommend at all. - Nothing No Wifi, although property owner claimed otherwise, not clean, I had dirty sheets on the bed, no trash cane like that’s the bare minimum for throwing garbage and trash. small sink in the bathroom that you can’t even brush your teeth. TV not working.

The tv wasn't working either as it needs internet to work. Got every text ignored from that moment onwards.

• Carl (1/5): Blatant false advertising. Tiny room. A lot of noise. - The only good thing to say is that it was clean Blatant false advertising. The room was TINY and not at all what was shown in the advert. It was advertised as 215 ft² but was closer to 100 ft². When I complained, the only response was, "It's not been a problem till now" as if the problem was with me, not them. There was no attempt to rectify the situation or even apologise. On the 2nd night, I was kept awake till 4 am by other guests. Because the property is not staffed and the only point of contact is whatsapp, there was nothing to be done. This caused me to not only have a sleepless night but I also cancelled my plans for the following day (so forfeited tickets I'd paid for) and cut my trip short as I was simply too tired. The advertising also stated there to be facilities to cook food and a well stocked kitchenette, but there was only a fridge and kettle. Calling this property a luxury apartment is a joke. The room was not much more than a cupboard. I suspect the handful of 10 star ratings are fakes/made by the owners' mates.
