(6/5): Endroit très bien si vous n'y êtes que pour dormir. - Ce qu'on a aimé : - le confort du lit - la vue depuis l'entrée de l'appartement & de la chambre - les conseils et la discretion de Chris - l'emplacement qui était plutôt ok et bien desservi - le thé / l'eau et le café à disposition dans la chambre Les points un peu plus négatifs : - Pas de vrais rideaux dans la chambre : pensez à votre masque de nuit ! - Il n'y a qu'une salle de bain et 1 WC pour tout l'appartement = vous partagerez à 100% ces endroits avec Chris & sa femme. - L'appartement global pourrait être un peu plus propre - Il y avait un chat ! Non précisé dans l'annonce, je suis allergique, j'étais donc embêtée, mais le chat reste dans la cuisine donc c'est ok, prévoyez cependant des antisthaminiques si besoin - Appart un petit peu difficile à trouver. • Kimberley (5/5): Convenient for buses & trains in a quiet area with views of the Thames - Hard to rate this place as we didn't get to stay there - they had accidentally double booked. They found us another place to stay & paid the bill even though it was more than their price. There was no outdoor lighting so it was hard to find in the dark. Carrying very heavy luggage up 4 storeys was exhausting.

Muhit oldukça kötü kokuyordu. Daireler dışarıdan kirli ve dağınık görünüyordu. O yüzden tesiste konaklamaktan vazgeçip bir otele yerleştim. Ev sahibi para iadesi yapmadı.

• Sean (10/5): Hidden Gem - Amy and Chris are stars. They kindly and patiently supported me as my plans changed a couple of times at short notice. They were EXTREMELY helpful. The guest room is clean and comfy. It's welcome, homelike feeling is a tonic to spending time is the big brash city. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ [insert something here to throw people off the scent of this hidden gem]

• Richard (10/5): - Chris and Amy are perfect hosts. I've tried virtually all the homeshares in Isle of Dogs over the last two years and this is the best. Very clean and comfortable room. Above all, it is very quiet. All good.

The hosts were kind and welcoming, the house was very clean, the bed was rather comfortable, the views were incredible, and the location was perfect- quiet, safe, and close to direct transportation all over London. As someone with slight chemical sensitivities, it would have been ideal if unscented washing powder had been used on the sheets, and an unscented hand soap had been available. Otherwise, truly wonderful, and would I wholeheartedly recommend this stay.

• Richard (9/5): Perfect short stay with friendly hosts. - Chris and Amy and their cat stormy were friendly and welcoming. The view was great. The bed was very comfortable and the room was very quiet. Only stayed 1 night. The 5 flights of stairs might be too much for some people but no problem for us. Chris gave excellent directions and great communication but don't trust google maps. My mistake.

• Peta (10/5): Delightful! Highly recommend. Chris is a great host. - We LOVED our stay here! Chris is such a thoughtful, kind and interesting person. He had fantastic suggestions for what we could do each day (if you haven’t been to London or are looking for recommendations - ask Chris!! The days we followed his suggestions we had the best time). The digs are lovely. The bed was super comfortable and the room was gorgeous with a view of canary wharf. Chris went all out with teas and coffees (he even sent us on our way with a few extra coffee bags), a kettle, water jug etc. It was really nice to be in someone’s house, and Chris’s place really feels like a HOME. You can tell he has put a lot of consideration into the space and the experience for guests. We have only good things to say about Chris and his place. Highly recommend, and we hope to come back one day 🫶

• Dr (6/5): Stunning river Thames view from the lounge. Close to Canary Wharf. - Delightful thoughtful hosts. Very accomodating.In the lounge stunning views of the River Thames. My bedroom view Canary Wharf, the city sky line. I was not expecting to share toilet and separate bathroom with the 2 hosts. Did not have use of the their kitchen cooking facilities. This was definitely an air B and B style venue so just didn't match my expectations. However, it is a perfectly good venue for somebody needing zone 2 Canary Wharf area and doesn' t mind sharing and I presume you could negotiate the use of the kitchen if staying longer. Personally, not my standards or my expectations however, I do not normally do house shares or sharing bathroom/ toilet with strangers. Hosts were adorable, and very hospitable, stunning Thames view in lounge. On an estate with mixed tenancy/ owners. Quite dark at night walking back from restaurants through the estate. Good luck with the venture but sadly not my cup of tea of accomodation. I stayed one night. Personally, I think overpriced at £65 per night for the facilities on offer. I am sure the hosts would negotiate a better deal for a longer stay.
• Oliver (10/5): Awesome, Thank you! - Warm and welcoming host! Shared breakfast, coffee and a lovely conversation with Chris in the morning. The room was just perfect and the views definitely make the stairs worthwhile! Take your own shampoos, and treat Chris to some fresh coffee grounds for his french press! Not a bad word to say about this stay.
• Aaron (10/5): Warm, welcoming and the hosts were extremely friendly. - Loved the environment of the whole place. Really inviting and a beautiful little location, best place I've stayed at in a long time. If I had to say anything that I didn't like probably just a little difficult to find the room but that's a minor thing as it's not the most difficult to find. Just took me an extra minute finding the right building.
