Guest Reviews
- Jenna (10/5): A lovely little place close to everything we needed - Very spacious for my little family of 4
- Catherine (4/5): - Place was clean & tidy. Location close to the lake. was not a relaxing stay - noisy guest upstairs, disappointed property was not able to issue tax receipt...
- Megan (8/5): Comfortable, clean and quiet - Wonderful location, close to lake and coffee shop, great for walks, nice and quiet The main bedroom had no natural light.
- Deborah (10/5): -
- Bree (8/5): Fantastic stay with family -
- Richard (9/5): Great location - Boreen Point is beautiful .
- Bronwyn (10/5): - Walking distance to the lake. Quiet peaceful area. Sarah was helpful and obliging when I needed to extend my stay
- Glenn (10/5): -
- Anne (8/5): - Close to everything. Very modern and spacious . When it was discovered we had been given the wrong unit, the staff were amazing. Cleaned the unit we were supposed to have while we were out having breakfast and helped to move our luggage Someone was actually in our accommodation so we took the unit next to it , also very comfortable but was upstairs with no stairs rails which is actually not legal and harder to access for 70yr olds.

- Jamison (1/5): Below average and disappointing. - We loved the location, Boreen is Awesome. Cleanliness on arrival poor, trip hazards from lifted floors, water pump resets + cold showers, overflowing bins/urine smell outside, builders onsite with no notice, and thin provisioning for a long stay. Dismissive host reply. Photos provided to Booking.com. Hosts reply will be dismissive and no accountability will be taken.
- Ella Jane (8/5): Nice bit to far from where we needed to be - Very clean tidy Needed to have a bit more sugar etc
Had a couple of trip hazards uneven surfaces
- Luke (10/5): - Beautiful accommodation. Perfect for our family of 4.
- Michelle (9/5): Superb - Lovely new tasteful decor and very clean and warm. Easy to follow instructions to access and a short walk down to the pub for dinner which we enjoyed. We kept tripping on the small step into the kids bedroom as it is hard to see.
We couldn’t get live to air TV to work. Some confusion over the wifi code but we did finally get access by using code from the other unit.
Some noise from upstairs unit but otherwise very peaceful.
- Lisa_121 (8/5): Very good -
- Jillian (10/5): Exceptional - Great spot close to Sailing club and its cafe
- Kerrie (6/5): Pleasant - The location was fab! It was walking distance to the lake, coffee van and 15 minutes to Pamona.
Great area to go for walks and a great pub 5 minutes away Had to call the host to find out the code
The bedroom was like sleeping in a dungeon, dark, no windows.
The furniture was tired but the bathroom was lovely
- Warren (8/5): Very good -
- Kathy (8/5): Very good - Location and decor Soap in the dispenser in the bathroom and less signs inside.
- Lejla (9/5): Superb - New, clean, quiet , nicely decorated and comfortable beds. Has a nice backyard. Good location. Entrance to the bathroom and small room have a very small step- difference in floor level Which is not easily noticeable. We tripped several times snd my sister hurt her toes. You need to mark them with different colour stripes so that guests can see it, pay attention and not get hurt.
- Hey (8/5): Relaxing and loved Boreen Point - Premises were very clean and location was good. Kitchen was well equipped. Security was non existent with a lock only on a fibreglass fly wire door. Upstairs neighbours were rather noisy with walking around all night and a sliding door opening and closing. Kitchen needs a splash back and the bathroom/toilet needs a fan or opening windows.
- Randal (9/5): Superb -
- Kelvin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Brett (10/5): Amazing weekend. We will be back - Such a nice quiet environment. So clean and a great layout Nothing
- Kristin (10/5): Exceptional - Was a pleasure to stay, we will be back
- Kate (9/5): Would come again - The apartment was beautifully presented.
- Burley (6/5): Pleasant - Lovely cosy renovated apartment. Loved the bathroom and the feel of the place. Having some family games and kids' books was a pleasant surprise. Could do with some improvements to make the stay more comfortable.
- Hot water ran out in the shower and in the kitchen sink after 2 minutes. It was the same next day.
- Pet hair on the couch, my partner and I ended up with hair all over our pants and jumper.
- The curtains to the front and back door need to be thicker, you can see in a night.
- I would suggest making the dividing fences between the apartments higher. We felt like there wasn't any privacy.
- Some trip hazards in the courtyard
- Faith (10/5): It was well appointed and lovely. Walking distance to hotel for a beverage. - It was comfortable, clean and inviting. The address was not clear in the confirmation email. We arrived at the Art Gallery Boreen Point as per google. Needless to say it was wrong.
- Chrissy (9/5): Superb -
- Hi (9/5): Would def recommend & stay again! - Clean & tidy & comfortable.
Beautiful location, lovely community that i would not have thought to visit. Depending on which unit you get, noise from upstairs travels down. This wasn't a problem for the first occupants during our stay, but the second lot were heavy-footed & up till late. This is not the fault of 'The Art Gallery', but perhaps notifying occupants that the noise travels would be helpful for others in future.
- Julie (9/5): Superb -
