- Joanna (8/5): -
- Patrick (8/5): - L'emplacement et le calme dans ce bâtiment La difficulté à trouver le logement
- Kateryna (10/5): - Thank you for a wonderful stay! Comfortable and reasonably quiet room. Great opportunity to feel the local vibe and to see how locals live. Suddenly, a big bus stop nearby - I recommend using it for small trips. The owner is such a nice lady! Best of luck.
- Anna (10/5): - La sra, em va esperar , tot i que vaig arribar més tard de les 12pm. Sempre va estar atenta i amable
- toshio (10/5): -
- An (9/5): Local experience - Great location and a great way to experience life in an old style apartment building. A/C and hot water ok. Huyen was also very kind and hospitable. There were many things that ensured we would have a comforting stay and good start to our trip. It's a great option for when you first arrive to Vietnam and still jetlagged. I'll be back! The elevator is a little slow, but I had fun waiting with the locals. You can sometimes hear your neighbors a bit, but there is no street noise.

- James (3/5): Had to walk out because of noisy neighbours! - Had all the facilities I needed The neighbours above were scrapping the floor with their furniture, as it was very noisy, I had to find alternative hotels which was hard because most places were fully booked.
- Vladimir (9/5): - Уютное место. Отличное расположение. Отзывчивый и приятный владелец.
- Zaahir (8/5): Great place! - Includes all facilities, study desk, pantry, TV, fruits, coffee provided etc I stayed for three days, however no towel change or room service. Corridor light comes in through the main door at night because it is made up of frosted glass. The door should be solid. I have difficulty sleeping with lights on unfortunately, not a big deal for most.

- Jena (10/5): Perfect home stay! I would stay again in a heartbeat. - Incredible stay. Very local feeling experience. Clean home and full of the things that you need and clear notes to help you. Very communicative and cute people running the place. We really felt cared for and thought about. Honestly this is the best home stay I’ve ever had. Air conditioning and fan were great for the heat. Wonderful location and the building we were in was so cool. There were no bugs and the shower was great. It is not a glamorous home but it is perfect.
- Thi Hong Ngoc (8/5): Okay stay - Very good location. The owner is friendly and helpful. All the basic stuffs are available. Safe neighborhood Would be great if the apartment is cleaner. Somewhere around the bed smells fish sauce. Not sure if they change the bed sheet and pillows covers
- Piotr (10/5): Homey place with good vibes and local feel - This cozy local apartment is a real gem tucked away in the heart of Saigon’s old town. Being not in a main tourist area, it offers a more genuine experience of the city. At the same time, it is surrounded by a mix of charming cafés, street food spots, and trendy restaurants. It is few steps away from amazing Fine Arts Museum.
The place has all necessary facilities including fast WiFi, a quiet AC, a comfortable bed, a small kitchen and a private bathroom. There are small lovely touches like unlimited drinking water, some cool books left by travelers, Rubik cubes and guitar.
With clear instructions from the incredibly welcoming host Huyen, it was easy to find. I sincerely recommend this spot to anyone seeking a relaxed, authentic place in Saigon that let’s you feel the rhythm of local life. Elevator doesn’t work sometimes although it is not a big issue as the apartment is on the third floor
- SAM (3/5): DIRTY..DONT STAY HERE - I liked the lady there, she was kind to me. It wasn't handy, as stated. It wasn't clean from the entrance to the room and the room wasn't inviting or terribly clean. The washing machine emptied onto the bathroom floor. The tap on the basin was just about falling off. There was no hot water. Sad to say this is the worst and dirtiest place I have stayed at. Some other people who I met who were also staying there said the same as me.I would NOT recommend this place at all . The lift doesn't operate after 11 pm.
- Yonathan (10/5): Exceptional - The owner is so nice, the place gives you a taste of what is like living in ho chi min. It’s clean and nice. We didn’t like the city but the property is 10/10
- Joanna (9/5): Superb - Huyen is absolutely lovely and so helpful. It’s in a great location for getting everywhere 👍🏻
- Mathieu (10/5): Exceptional - Such a great place to discover HCMC! In a very local building, perfectly located, and a great and very reactive owner! Recommend it 100%
- Nathanael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bui (9/5): Superb - Feel like I got into my buddy room
- Yahav (9/5): Highly recommended - Very clean and spacious, incredible hostess. Almost nothing. We had a problem with the shower for one night, but our host gave us hot bucket immediately and was able to fix it the next morning.
- Pinny (10/5): An experience with the locals. A+++ Hospitality - Beautiful host. So kind and very helpful, but also gives you privacy. Huyen also shared some Lunar New Year Banh Chung (sticky rice cake with mung beans and pork, wrapped in banana leaf) allowed me to have a very late checkout when she didn't have to, so I could charge up my phone and rest ahead of my late night travels.
Try the noodles from the ladies in the floors above and below. Lift available if you need it. I love this place as you get to live with the locals and experience the real Vietnam. Will be back again before I leave.
- Steve (8/5): Great spot. - Awesome location; large space, vibrant building. Host was lovely; great stay despite the noise. Noisy. Neighbour’s aircon, scrapping chairs from above. Unluckily, doing building work very near 8-5; drilling on my first morning at 9pm, measured 112db (I kid you not, was louder than by the drill because of reverberations). It encouraged me to get out early, so not a bad thing and ear plugs for the constant scrapping and aircon buzzing.
- Jorgen (8/5): Very nice room and host - but not easy to find with the current instructions. - The host was exceptionally hospitable and nice!
The room itself was higher than expectations and excellent for me. Builders next to my room making terrible noise all thru the day.
Probably a temporary thing as the viet people are industrious and quick.
I was not aware that the room is situated in the second or third side back alley from the main entry.
A much more detailed instruction about how to find the place is really needed!
Maybe with photos of the front of the building from the main street and photos inside the alley to the lift 2 or 3 alleys inside to the right.
- John (10/5): I highly recommend Sunshine Home to those who would like to have an inkling of what locals’ life is truly like. - I was kindly greeted by Ms Huyen who walked me to the room while holding a chat in English with a certain degree of mastery. The accommodation was airy, spotless and equipped with a fridge and a microwave, a kettle and a two ring hob. Sunshine Home is ideally located as it isn’t in a touristy area where everything is pricey yet close to popular tourist attractions and must-do things while exploring district 1.
There are several great cafes and restaurants nearby. Nothing really.
- Damian (10/5): Exceptional - My story is one of honesty, openness, willingness to help and friendship with Mrs. Huyen. Nobody helped me that much here. But you probably want to hear about Homestay. Perfect location, friendly people all around. At home you will find literally everything a person needs when traveling. Mrs. Huyen has thought of everything. I can only highly recommend it Nothing I didn't like. Everything is fine.
- Damian (10/5): Exceptional - Convenient location, friendly people around. Definitely You will have a taste of local culture. You will find everything You need inside-most important of all-AC. Very friendly owner, will provide everything You need. Looking forward to visit Sunshine Home and Saigon again.
- Nicoleta (10/5): Exceptional - The owner was wonderful, kindly and helpful person.
The location was excellent in centre of the centre of the city, very close of the important buildings. The city, the food, the people and of course the trip in Delta of Mekong.
- Konstantin (10/5): Exceptional - The best host! Cozy appartments!
