Guest Reviews
- Jodie (1/5): They don't exist anymore... - I arrived to the accommodation and the signs were gone, the key code didn't work and then another building occupant told me that Komo Pods had just up and left without any warning or explanation to guests ect. I even got the confirmation and instruction message that day! That the shutdown without telling us.
- Damien (1/5): Bad -
- Van (8/5): You get what you pay for, facilities are nice. - Location was nice and everything was within a nice walking distance. Staff was nice and was working hard to clean everything before check in. Mostly the other guests did not have any manners when it came to getting up early in the morning. They were talking (screaming) loudly at 4/5 am, dropped a lot of their items and did not
Think of anyone in the other pods which i found to be a bit odd. Showers weren’t really kept clean for as far as I noticed.
- Anonymous (1/5): Bad - DO NOT BOOK, THIS ACCOMODATION IS NO LONGER THERE
- Shannon (1/5): Has gone bust - Nothing! It’s shut down! Turned up to an empty building Everything, it’s closed down
- Thomas (8/5): Comfortable, well-equipped and easily reachable by public transport. - The pod bedroom was well kitted-out with a lamp, a power socket and a expelair style fan as well as an oscillating fan. The checking-in process was straightforward. While I was there (not on a weekend which could be a factor) it was very quiet so I had a good quality of sleep. Exceptional value for money. I had a change of room/pod/door codes email a couple of hours before arriving which was a little disconcerting considering some of the other reviews mentioning other people being in their pod when they arrived. The area is a little iffy and some people might feel unsafe at night in the streets. Also the vending machine did not sell padlocks, as a previous response by the owner to a review had stated, so make sure to bring your own if you want to use the lockers.
- Alex (9/5): Great place to stay in London for the night. - Value for money, location, cleanliness and linen was supplied. A second usb charger in the pod would be useful. Not being able to contact staff when locked out my pod.
- Samuel (1/5): Health risk and forced eviction - There was a USB plug inside the pod. We booked 3 nights at Komo Pods Hackney and it was a complete disaster.
The room was extremely humid — so much that our towel never dried — and the air was unhealthy. I developed a sore throat within a day. On the third morning, at 7:35 AM, a staff member suddenly woke us up and told us to leave within 25 minutes for “health security reasons.” No prior warning, no written explanation, no refund, and the owner never replied to our messages.
The location felt unsafe. Inside, the lighting was harsh: big cold white neon lights on 24/7. The pod door didn’t close properly, so we had the light shining in our faces all night. The pod shakes when someone walks in the room. There was only one towel for two people. The duvet was too small. The air conditioning was on full blast all day and night, making it cold despite mild temperatures outside.
The shower was stuck at 40°C. There were no mirrors in front of the sinks. The toilet seats were all broken. There were three different door codes to remember, which was unnecessarily complicated. The pillow was terrible, the general build quality was awful, and the constant noise from trains passing overhead made it worse.
To top it all off, there were signs everywhere begging for 5-star TripAdvisor reviews in exchange for a free night — a clear red flag.
Avoid this place at all costs.
- Louise (8/5): Very good -
- Natalya (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (7/5): Good - Ruhige Lage WC Flushing not working
- Abigail (10/5): Awesome place and staff. Pods are cool - The decor was nice. It was clean, good value for money. And the staff were super friendly, especially Daniel who helped me so much over the phone with directions, he went above and beyond. it's pretty quiet on an evening, i didn't feel awkward sharing a room with people either i didn't see that much of them. Ill definitely go back again How hot it was in the pod but that can't be helped its nobody's fault obviously There is a fan in the pod and AC in the room thankfully. I was so relaxed i kept my door open for the air con
- Emma (6/5): Pleasant - Good concept and great value for money. Smooth stay.
- John (2/5): Not for me. - Location was fine, although it's down a pretty shady Hackney street with drinkers congregating outside some sort of a lock-up bar. Code for the front door didn’t work. The contact number by the door wasn't working. The email told me to liaise with Booking.com. So why put a contact number by the door? Luckily, the Booking.com page had a message with codes that were different from the ones the owners emailed. Just confusing.
Only one toilet cubicle. If there were others, I didn’t find them. Neither did the two people queuing with me later.
The ‘room’ is basically a bunk bed in a wooden box. There is a light and small fan above the bed, and a single power point. To enter, you climb steps on a vertical ladder then crawl in. There's no room for luggage or clothes when undressing, so you’re sharing a bed with your luggage and your charging devices.
In the pod, I got a call from the contact number I’d requested earlier. He said he’d got a call from this number. It was all very cloak and dagger.
I’m not a big person, and I was travelling light, so I managed for the first of my two nights. However, if you’re looking for a longer stay, dislike enclosed spaces, struggle to make late night toilet trips going down a ladder facing forwards, or have any luggage, beware. I didn’t try the showers - it was tricky enough getting undressed in the box. (Calling it a pod suggests the state-of-the-art Japanese affairs. This was not one of those.) I jumped ship for the second night and booked a much more comfortable place in Kensington.
The contradictory door codes and the situation with the contact number were red flags. Frankly I’m surprised that the accommodation/toilet allocation meets the standards required, but maybe I’m wrong. Regardless, only book this if you're on a tight budget and not too fussy about sleeping in a box. The lock to the ‘pod’ didn’t look like it would survive a sturdy yank, something I did consider after struggling with the cheap key-code lock.
I was swayed by the multiple positive reviews, especially regarding comfortable beds. (Mine was functional at best.) Never again.
- Shreenaa (8/5): Very good -
- Kaixin (10/5): Exceptional -
- Mark (7/5): Good -
- Lucia (1/5): Bad - La stanza era occupata, camera in overbooking La stanza era occupata, camera in overbooking
- Malcolm (8/5): Good location and a good night's sleep assured. - As always the Pod blocks out the noise of other guests in the dormitory. Check in information sent in good time and easy process. Provision of towel and shower gel in cubicles a real bonus. The USB slot was loose in my pod and wasn't working. This was crucial for fan operation (bear in mind we were having a heat wave) and charging phone overnight. Reported on arrival on Thursday and they said they would try and get maintenance out. Still not sorted when I left Saturday morning.
This has my only gripe across 4 visits though.
- Preetham (8/5): Komo Pods is a decent place to stay. While the pods can be a bit bigger, they still serve the purpose. The staff were ve - The property is not too far from the city and the staff was excellent. The pods can be a bit more bigger.
- Rob (6/5): Cheap and good location but you pay for what you get - Cheap for London. Location is pretty good. Double Pods are a good size. Self check in is easy and convenient. Place isn't clean unfortunately. Stains on mattress and although she sheets and pillow covers were cleaned there were stains on them too. Stairs into the pod covered in dust and hair. No attention to detail from cleaners. Toilet and shower room was attempted to be cleaned but was still dirty unfortunately. Main door was broken the day we arrived so we had to walk through the bin room, on a hot summers day that wasn't pleasant.
- Holly (8/5): Very good -
- Dean (8/5): Great for a short stop - Easy to find l,clean, and a great price
Ideal if heading to a concert I we did at Finsbury Park, close to train station and links to the underground N/A
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good - Overall a good experience.
We've got just a problem with the door code, but the staff was there, ready and happy to help. We were sent three sets of door codes, a bit confusing, but eventually all went smoothly thanks to the staff.
- Brandon (2/5): Very poor -
- Lucy (5/5): Alright for the price you pay. Far away from the centre but cheap enough to overcome that factor. - Quietness of the pods.
Showers were good.
Aircon was good in the double rooms. I messaged on the first night asking for another towel to get no response. The door to get out of the pods was hard to get out of as it was partially broken.
- Sadbh (5/5): Passable - Perfect place to stay for a night No response from the team when asking for something. Kept receiving messages saying enjoy your stay, message if anything is needed but I messaged twice about the same thing and no help or even response.
- Zachary (1/5): worst stay ever - the location was good lack of communication, disrespect to my belongings, no staff on site, unclear messages, giving me too many rooms meaning i walked into another couples room, damp sheets.
- Thelma (1/5): Unsafe - The pods were fairly comfortable The location felt very unsafe, there were weird people outside at all times and the lock to our pod was broken
- Harris (9/5): Superb -
- Jodie (8/5): Overall: A good experience! Would stay again - The beds were super comfy, and the place was very well air conditioned! I always worry about getting too hot and stuffy, but that wasn't the case at all!
The size of the pods were pretty good, the size of the lockers were good. There were plenty of showers and toilets between the two floors and plenty of nice spaces to do your makeup, skincare ect.
It was super easy to get into the building and up in the pods ect and the facilities were decent enough. Microwave, coffee, tea, forks/spoons, ect. Didn't love the lack of communication. Don't get me wrong, you get plenty of pre/post automated messages with all you need to know, but any questions went unanswered, and there was no external email listed for me to contact outside of Booking.com.
- Nileshwar (9/5): Great value for money and an easy hop into central London. - Great option for the price. Double pod felt surprisingly spacious and the set up is well thought out. Each pod has a code lock and comes with a double electrical outlet for charging and a locker outside for your stuff (bring your own padlock). Communal spaces were clean. Location is a quick, easy ride into central London on the overland train system straight into Liverpool Street. The pillows were a bit big and spongy which I found uncomfortable.
- Bethany (10/5): Great place for value! - Pods are more spacious than I anticipated and were very comfortable! Only downside is how stuffy the pod gets overnight, would recommend keeping the fan on all night to combat it!
- Elizabeth (1/5): Bad - The pillows were big There was no way to lock my pod from the outside which wasn't mentioned in the description. I asked about this in the messaging and they responded after 12 hours saying I had to use a locker to store my belongings and use a padlock. They offered to give me one but I already had to go out late at night in hackney to find a shop that sells padlocks.
The "lock" on the inside of the pod was just a country latch which didn't feel safe at all.
There were gaps around the door where people could look into your pod, and they did, often.
The bedding and towels were not clean.
The pod was not clean.
When I woke each morning the entire pod was drenched in condensation.
The photos used on booking.com are very disingenuous. The rooms do not look like that in real life.
The shower room is mixed gender with cubicles which you could easily see in through gaps. I didn't shower for two days as I didn't feel safe doing so where men or women could see me.
The shower room is also filthy and in a very bad state of repair.
There is no sound proofing to the building which means you can hear everything outside. Also the whole pod complex creaks loudly every time any one moves.
There is a vending machine that charges £2 for a fun size chocolate bar.
This is a youth hostel not a pod hotel as advertised. Overall the worst experience of my 44 years. I've stayed in many youth hostels and none have been as disappointing as this disgusting place.
- Berat (7/5): A pleasant stay worth the money in a cool neighborhood. - Beds were comfy and it was more silent and calmer than I expected. I never had to wait for toilet or shower. I liked the general ambiance. There was also free black tea. The fans inside the pods are kinda loud. But it didn't really bother me while sleeping. It even had the effect of white noise.
- Alexandru (9/5): Superb -
- Josh (10/5): Exceptional - Now I went into this hotel thinking it's a bed for the night, nothing special, I was wrong.
I found komo to be fantastic, lil shoe box with an unexpectedly comfy bed. Transport links to the city are perfect being 5 mins walk to the nearest overground. It was a little awkward to find, and the staff were nowhere to be seen seemed odd to me but not a deal breaker.
- Camille (8/5): Very good -
- Joe (10/5): Exceptional - Very comfy and very good value for money N/A
- Leonardo (2/5): Wouldn't stay here - New pods where actually quite nice and cool, bathrooms where nice and clean. Where do I start. First of all never got sent email to get in, or wirh my pod number. When I was eventually in there was no staff, and was told to ring number. My room was not one of the nicer ones in picture but some kind of cardboard box like thing, and the "air con" and tiny fan wasn't even working, so it was just an oven. In the central area, there where 3 other men, whom all had issues, one didn't even have a pod, and the other 2 has pods issues.
- Dancey (2/5): Hot - The new pods were quite nice, clean and comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and nice. We booked in total between us 4 pods three new doubles (upstairs) and one single on the lower floor. The doubles were excellent apart from somebody had taken one of them and was asleep so we couldn't use it. No one available to help us with this. The single was not that nice ( bedding looked a bit old) and there was no fan on the hottest night of the year. It seems many of the fans on that floor were not working meaning many of the guests congregated in the kitchen to escape the temp making slot of noise for most of the night with chit chat. The pods are very noisy as no soundproofing. The toilet seats also did not fit the toilets and kept sliding off making them very uncomfortable.
- Marina (7/5): Good -
- Alba (1/5): Avoid it at all cost, time and money waste - Nothing of the place. The only thing to save is the volunteering staff that are available and the brother of the guy that is running the place that talked some sense in his brother that lacks the min basics skills of hospitality/customer service and how to run a business. The only positive thing is that he understood that I needed to be refunded for the bad experience, for the huge inconvenience I had and because one of the 2 nights I didn't even slept there for how bad it was. The whole place needs a general refurbishment and maintenance other than a proper cleaning staff not some students that are doing some light cleaning here and there. The toilets are in bad conditions, walls and floors dirty, no toilet rolls or almost finished, no soap in the sinks, the sheets I had been put after several arguments as he didn't even know which pod was free and which one was used were dirty with some stains and I had to go find where they have the clean ones at 5am when I came back and the place being a shared room with other ppl has all the discomfort of sleeping with multiple ppl that snore and wake up at any time and chit chat and make noises, the pod itself is too small and I slept in pods in Japan and this has got nothing to do with a proper pod, too small and the pillow is too thin as the quality of it like everything else is very poor. The whole place needs to be completely clean and done some basic maintenance like toilets seats or shower head changed, I felt really uncomfortable and the attitude of the owner big turn off as he almost turned me away with a rude and unwelcoming attitude when I started complaining after all the pods numbers he was telling me to open were already occupied and this was happening at 7.30pm because he is so disorganised that he didn't even sent me the info for the check in the same day as mentioned in the booking. The whole experience was bad and a way below the minimum expectations. All this is even made worse from the inconvenience of having to climb a very uncomfortable ladder and the pinpad very uncomfortable to use and I was freezing as the ac unit was like 30cm from the pod where I was sleeping and there are no settings to regulate it so I had to sleep with my jacket for how cold it was and how close my unfortunate pod was. Coming back at 5am as cherry on top of the cake, after all the arguments for the bare min of getting what I booked and paid for, I had to go look for clean sheets.it was really...
- Kane (6/5): Pleasant -
- Naomi (9/5): Superb -
- Emma (6/5): Good concept and value for money - Excellent location and value for money. Pod was clean. Bedsheets + towel provided. Relatively clean shared spaces. The concept of this accommodation is really good and I hope more properties like this one pop up. Well air conditioned during hot weather. The whole concept of having your own, locked up space to sleep goes away when a random person /people is provided with your pod’s entry code by the hotel staff. I experienced that someone opened my door without any prior notice while I was in bed and obviously the rest of the stay was less comfortable knowing that other random people had continuous access to my pod during the stay - with me and my belongings in it. I immediately flagged this to the property phone number. I was not happy with the tone I was met with, and the property blaming the ‘system’ for not showing them they had already assigned the pod. These things should not happen and if they do, I would expect to meet someone friendly and apologetic to assure this would not happen again. At the end of the day customers do not care which back end system is used, they care about the overall service being good. The property did review their tone the next day and I got a proper apology at that stage, but I wish that would have been their immediate approach.
- Jonob82 (8/5): Very good - Great location and value for money in London. Very comfortable double bed pod. Tea and coffee facilities are a nice touch. Check-in process was perfect. Was issues with a lack of toilet paper in the hostel on the day I was leaving.
- Jheyare23 (9/5): Good value for money - For 1 or 2-day stay it is a good place for how much the amoint you pay. The other bathroom upstairs isn't working. It would be nice if it is fixed so that the guest who stays upstairs won't need to go downstairs.
- Lisa (6/5): Acceptable for the price paid but wouldn't return. - Easy access via codes, mattress was surprisingly comfy. Our pod happened to be the only one that couldn't be locked from the outside and that was right in front of the A/C unit that was blasting arctic air. Also, the lights in the room are well bright and can't be turned off or at least dimmed so they aggressively shine through the gaps of the pod door and the fan. The pods creak. Whenever someone even just turns around in their sleep, it's really noisy. The toilet I used had a dodgy seat that had come off and was sliding back and forth. Even if it's a cheap place, I think I can expect the toilet seat to fit and be installed. That's not an expensive thing to provide or fix.
- Roderick (7/5): Cheap stay, but needs better communication - Bed was comfy, cost was good, and quiet stay (minus the sound of the trains) Messages were completely ignored, messaged about the bed looking like it had been slept in, and twice about the fact that there was no towel.
- Nora (9/5): Superb -
- Lloyd (9/5): Good accommodation with modern solutions! - A safe and well-functioning accommodation. Easy to reach with simple but sufficient solutions. Most notably, even though you sleep in a hall with common areas, the experience is that you are in charge of your own mini home. There is nothing special to complain about.
- Elzio (10/5): Exceptional -
- Jose (9/5): Superb - The privacy and autonomy, very simple check in and check out. They included the towel, all very clean and nice. Comfortable space The location is just 8 min from a train/metro station but in a very small part of it might give you a bit of unsafe appearance. At the end all good, nothing happened and that street was mostly empty. But all the rest was great.
- Tomas (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (8/5): Clean rooms with good security! - The place was nice and clean and had good security. You needed 2 different locks to get into the place and then a seperate one to get into your pod! It was in a good location, about 10 minute walk from the station, but could be faster if you’re in a rush. There wasn’t enough toilet paper supplied so in the morning before staff had restocked there was only 1 toilet left with toilet paper.
- Guillerml (1/5): Bad -
- Anonymous (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (5/5): Passable -
- Yann (4/5): Wouldn't stay again - The beds are comfortable. Very cheap. The check in process is awful. There is no staff on site and you do self check in. You're given so many codes to enter the building.
I booked 2 pods and we received emails with like 5 different pod numbers and their access code. Some of these pods had people sleeping in them and the fact I had the access code was so unsafe and im sure some people may have accidentally received my access code too.
The lights remain on in the bedroom and it spills into the pod so bring and eye mask.
The toilet and showers upstairs were out of order so the entire place was sharing 3 toilet cubicles with no toilet paper and 3 showers.
- Leigh (8/5): Very good -
- Nicola (4/5): Wasn’t happy - Cheap for one night holiday No toilet rolls in any toilets, loud music from 1am onwards, not the cleanest in communal areas
- Walter (7/5): Good -
- Charlotte (10/5): Exceptional - It is a great place to stay when visiting london not to far out from the center and is great for the price.
- Vanja (6/5): Decent enough for the money and a short stay (3 nights maximum) - Simple and relaxed self check-in. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, but the pillows were too big and not as nice. There were enough facilities and we didn't run into any overcrowding issues. Most of the other guests were respectful. For a short stay it does the job. The sheets didn't feel particularly clean, especially the pillowcases had a lot of yellowing stains. We noticed that the sheets and towels were being washed together with smelly bathmats, and what's worse they were left in the washing machine overnight, which gave the bedsheets an unpleasant smell too. We've only noticed one cleaner in the late afternoon, there was nobody there in the mornings, which was a big issue because all of the toilet paper would get used up the previous night, so there'd be none left in the morning.
- Leah (10/5): Exceptional - The pods were easy to access but safe. There is a code to get in the main door then again one to get onto the actual floor for the pods and then each pod has its own individual code lock. The pods were clean and the shower/toilet area were really clean and new and lovely to use. The bed was comfy and we did get a bit warm but you are provided with a fan to use if needed. It was surprisingly quiet being as the other pods were also being used. We did hear a bit of music from outside for a few hours and the trains were going through the night but didn't stop us from sleeping. Would definitely use again and recommend to anyone looking for a cheap bed for the night. The location. But once we got there and was used to where it was it was fine. Its kinda up a derelict alley, the first thing we seen was a man urinating in the alley right next to us which was a bit off putting. We got back at 11.30pm and there was a lot of men outside playing loud music etc so might not be ideally for young girls staying here alone.
- Janusz (8/5): Cheap, comfortable little Japan in London - Idea behind it and price. Really good value for the price, simple check in, good connection with city centre A bit original neighbourhood
- Kishore (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anna (6/5): Pleasant - The Idea of capsules is really good. It is nice to have a bit of private space and as a single travelling person for just one night its a compromise beetween a hostel and as private room.
Theres a towel, wchih is a great stuff for people travelling with small bag.
Lovely, clean bathroom. The USB port was broken so I had to charge my phone in the common area. Adding to that, little fan inside had also a connection to usb port which wasnt working. So in the night it gotten a bit warm and had to open the door.
Matress was a bit uncomfortable to sleep in. In the morning there was no toilet paper.
But overall, cant complain- no better sleep for this price.
- Letícia (8/5): Issues gettin into the building staff was helpful - Clean Small
- Jamie (5/5): Cheap and convenient but improvements needed - I liked how budget friendly it was and the location wasn’t too far away from the train station so was easy to get to without having to walk for ages. Staff checked in a few times during my stay which I thought was good, and they also reassured I could contact at anytime if needed. The pod was stuffy and the small fan provided did not work. The shower rooms weren’t very clean and on arrival there were no free lockers to store my things so I ended up having to sleep with all my belongings at the bottom of my bed which wasn’t comfy at all.
- Anonymous (5/5): Fit for purpose - Although you can hear some trains passing, it was quite mild and didn’t disturb any sleep, other guests are respectful and weren’t noisy. Good value for money, close to the station. This is fit for purpose and ideal if you just need a place to stay for 1 or 2 nights Messaged the host as there was no towel in the pod or available ones around but received no reply. However, when asking another guest they mentioned that they had ran out of towels. So would be worth taking your own, just in case. The fan in the pod was also not working, but at least it wasn’t too warm so wasn’t much of an issue.
- Julie (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (7/5): Fine and as advertised. - Good location and value for money, facilities were clean and the pod was comfortable and large enough to spread out a bit. Pods got very hot at night even with the provided fan so condensation formed on the walls and on our things. Some postcards got ruined and warped. Additionally, the entire hotel ran out of toilet paper in every single bathroom and there was no extra anywhere which is unacceptable.
- Kevin (7/5): Ideal for just a bed whilst volunterring at the Lido festival - Mattress very comfortable. Room, granted small, but had USB / plug socket and 2 lights. Kitchen offered free coffee and tea. Microwave available. Tolieta and showers clean Replenishment of toliet rolls was slow, and on 2 occasions during my 2 night stay there were none available. And i even checked the 3 toliets downstairs and those upstairs (zero available)
- Phoebe (5/5): Passable - Clean good location Only gave us one towel for a booking of 2 people for 4 nights and only one shower properly working
- Anonymous (10/5): It was a cosy pod stay i felt safe and loved my stay - It was a cosy stay definitely a solo traveler’s dreams Toilet paper shortage but it provided extra in a cupboard to access would be okay
- Anonymous (8/5): Very good -
- Paul (7/5): Good -
- Jonathan (1/5): Opened up someone else's room due to incorrect codes being sent, as outsourced conpany was hacked. - Location wise great!
affordable The property was unsafe due to a third-party company being hacked. Hackers sent out incorrect codes to access buildings and rooms. A staff member explained this to me over the phone after I unintentionally opened another guest’s room using one of the incorrect codes sent. What a mess.
- Ewan (10/5): Very good value - Very very good value for money. Facilities were well maintained, toilets and showers always available. Pods were a little awkward to get into, but that's what you would expect. Pods were not well sound-proofed but also you're just in there to sleep, if you plan of using the pod for any more than that then you should get a proper hotel room.

- Anonymous (10/5): Was pretty good for 2 nights and cheap. - Was nice and cozy… and secure N/A
- Walton (10/5): Exceptional -
- James (10/5): Exceptional - Cheap as chips and incredibly ideal for the solo traveller.
Cosy as well.
- Lisa (9/5): great value - a fun experience - it was very clean, very comfortable , easy check in process, there were towels and toiletries and a hairdrier for us to use . I thought we may hear noise from other people but it was very quiet we hardly saw anyone else there. it was a bit hot ( but it was an extremely hot day, so understandable and there was a fan and that helped ) and the trains were pretty noisy in the morning, so take some earplugs
- Sm (4/5): Disappointing -
- Benjamin (6/5): Pleasant - Staff were friendly, beds were comfortable. Towels and bedding provided. Pods were lockable and lockers were availible to secure things in a communal area. Overall a good place to stay. There was nowhere to hang clothes and no storage space/ even a small shelf in the pods themselves. The pods also only have a small fan and get quite hot through the night.
- Emma (6/5): Pleasant - Great location. Good value for money. The mattress was comfortable. Wi-Fi worked. Close to public transport. Hot shower. Spaces (pods and shared spaces) are relatively clean, but not sure all spaces are cleaned as often as they should. Not really sure whether you’re meant to be provided a towel or not - last time I did, but it was wet, this time there was no towel. When the weather is hot, the single pods get uncomfortably hot.
- Sue (1/5): Disgusting !!!! Unacceptable!!!! Wish a full refund !!! - Nothing It smelt , it was dirty , bed was like a piece of hardboard. Bedding smelt and pillow lumpy ,, I was promised a Botam pad I was given a top one I explained I was 66 on message and was ensured I would be given one. I wasn’t ,, the location was like an unsafe unlit place I didn’t feel safe. Very unhappy with it. Toilet had no loo paper. Also filthy showers. Very unhappy with the whole of the place. It is not a hotel it’s a Dive !!!!
- Pichayanin (9/5): Nice and affordable place to stay not far from Central London - The bed in pods were big enough for 2 people to sleep comfortably (we’re small people) for its price it was very good. The beddings were good compared to regular hostels soft bed and pillows, silky touch sheets and duvet. The staff were really nice and helpful. The shard bathroom was clean and comes with a good quality hair dryer as a woman with thick hair I was satisfied. They also have a washing machine Nothing really, it was nice overall. But it could be a bit damp in the pods sometimes but that didn’t effect our sleep
- Elizabeth (7/5): Good -
- Oxtailsg (3/5): Disappointed not had great experience x2 - Easy to get to. Close to train and buses Was given 2 codes, had to sit for manager to come and tell me which was right one.
Fan didn’t work. When I got under the blanket to go to sleep my bed was filled with crumbs therefore was not changed from the last person.
There are never any hand towels for drying hands.
- Aileen (5/5): Passable -
