Guest Reviews
- Renee (10/5): Lovely and homey. Thank you, we really enjoyed it. - Location, size of house, facilities. Its a home away from home - very comfortable and clean. Plenty of space. It was chilly and we needed to do some washing, that laundry just wasn't drying outside so a dryer MIGHT be a nice addition, but I get why you don't have one :). Not a complaint at all. The balcony area where the line was DID get sun in the arvo so some creative positioning over the baskets got us there haha.

- Susan Faughey (8/5): - The house was a great size for the six of us.
The facilities were great and useful.
The location was fantastic, situated near supermarkets and main street. The street and area is nice and quiet. The house was hard to locate as the letterbox didnt have any numbers.
- huilin (10/5): Overall is highly recommended - Location is nice close to town center . Quiet street . Big balcony. Master room with toilet . Nice kitchen with essentails . Clean bathroom with bath tub Big spider web next to sofa .

- Bowie (8/5): Lithow - Very cozy One of the bathrooms showerhead were broken
- Diana (7/5): A bit disappointed but time away with family made it all worthwhile. - Quiet but still convenient location with safe off street parking for two cars. Spacious for four adults. Elevated position provided scenic views. No number on letterbox. Garden was overgrown. Entry external light not working. Shower flooded and shower rose not adjustable in main bathroom. No milk for a cuppa on arrival. No shampoo. Phone contact on booking had full message box but managed to find another contact on Google. 3 adult towels provided and one child's size towel even though an email request was sent for extra towels.
- Mel (10/5): Very nice place to stay would stay again just I.the warmer months lol - Loved the host they were very understanding Would benefit from a dryer or a clothes airer to dry clothes on in winter months
Also would benefit a heater down the back end of the house as it’s really cold and the heater didn’t reach down there.
- Craig (8/5): The property was so clean and had everything which was needed even pegs for washing. Hosts were so lovely and attentive - The property was very clean and comfortable . Hosts were such lovely people and were happy to resolve our issue immediately and even left more wood than we needed There were some stairs which were a challenge for our 92 yo dad, but doable for us
- Cathy (9/5): Loved our stay thank you - It was lovely outlook ,no noise, very relaxing cosy with the fire going A tiled area in front of fire I was worried that embers or a log may have fallen out and damaged the floor
- Jenny (9/5): Superb -
- Judith (7/5): Good -
- Mark (6/5): Our stay was pleasant despite the archaic facilities - Beds were comfortable
Location was great Some batteries in the TV controls would have helped.
The sliding doors didnt work
Large spider hanging in the lounge to greet us
Lamp in front bedroom was arcing
The whole place needs a reno
Venetian blind in far bathroom needs replacing
Toilet seat in middle bathroom too small-needs replacing
- Azim (10/5): Well located and plenty of room for a whole family. Definitely would stay again - Quiet well appointed and close to town and supermarkets / restaurants Nothing
- Toni (1/5): I would not recommend - The lockbox PIN number supplied did not work and the owner/host did not respond to any requests to be called back for assistance
It was only on a hunt that we discovered a side door was unlocked. We tried for an hour to gain entry in the dark with a tired toddler. We had a reply the next morning and were told that the PIN number was incorrect but that Booking.com was difficult to navigate. They had other opportunities like email address and phone numbers to let us know this. The side door is often unlocked for this purpose but this was not communicated. We almost had to make emergency expensive accomodation for 5 adults and a toddler. There was not enough towels for people. And 2 of the beds did not have pillowcases. There was no wifi. The mobile numbers left on guest information would not accept phone calls and messages were only replied to the next morning. The coffee in the canister was rock solid and unable to be used. We had to drive to get coffee for the family.
The house apart from this was clean and quiet but the service was terrible. See above for my review
