• Christos (2/5): Horrific: The host’s negligence denied us basic hygiene and a proper bed, forcing us into filthy apt - A bit far from the centre, we had to take the Tram, which was almost always packed, and we had to wait to take the 2nd or third one in line and then walk for another 15 minutes to reach Ponte Vecchio, for instance. There were no amenities, coffee shops, or breakfast options available within a 700-meter radius. That was the highlight of the apartment. This stay was utterly unacceptable: Unusable Sofa Bed: On the first night, the sofa bed was broken. I was forced to split my body between the sofa and the floor for a single, torturous hour of sleep, and woke up with debilitating back pain that haunted me for the remainder of our four-night stay. False Promises & Forced Relocation: Only after I demanded action over the phone did the host grudgingly “offer” us a different apartment at 29 Via Guido Monaco—an admission of his failure, not a courtesy. Filthy Replacement Apartment: The alternate unit was in a disgraceful state, with no clean towels, no soap, and no clean sheets—only soiled linens and a pervasive stench of urine. The fridge contained someone else’s leftovers, and every surface in the kitchen was slick with grime. Unprofessional Response: It took further complaints before a cleaner was dispatched—two nights too late, after we had already been subjected to health hazards. This host’s negligence and indifference ruined the first half of our stay. We demanded—and deserved—basic hygiene and a functional bed. Instead, we endured shoddy accommodations and total disregard for our well-being.

• Maria (9/5): A stylish and comfotable appartment that's in a good location - stylish,modern appartment. Great facilities. Home from home Good location for train station and easy to walk to florence centre in 10 minutes. The host had not sent any information prior to our arrival on how to get in.On time of arrival I was sent a photo of the key pad, a message in italian, then another asking if we were in. I then called him and he explained that he needed a photo of our passports before he would let us in, but he did buzz us in the main door. He came to meet us and to let us in the appartment and gave us the keys, took aphoto of our passports. It was a bit stressful and disorganized. He said he would send us some info about restaraunts but took 2 days to do so. On leaving I contacted him to ask how we were to leave things as ther was no info about checking out. He needs to improve his communication. Also no extra pillows.

It feels that the owner payed a lot of attention to the details. Huge balcony to relax. Washing machine, iron- everything for the pleasant stay.Very nice and comfortable bathroom- the shower was amazing, no water on the floor. Distance registration. Very close to the central station. Elevator The floor was dusty, we had to wash it though the owner said that cleaning was done. Very loud neighbours and the dog barking in the night. Sofa bed is very low and hard. The road from the train station is not picturesque.
