- pebbs_vn_sp (7/5): Muchas aparencia, poca utilidad - La ubicación es muy buena, muy cerca a las torres gemelas y hay muchos comercios para comer alrededor. Hay una parada de tren al lado. Las vistas del infinito pool son muy buenas La limpieza no era muy buena, las sabanas estaban manchadas, en el baño y el vestidor se veían manchas. El frigorífico no enfriaba y aunque lo reportamos no se arreglo. Después de 2 semanas por Indonesia nos alegrabamos que hay lavadora, pero al ponerla a lavar soltaba agua y el suelo se llenaba de agua. En booking.com ponia que el alojamiento se iba a cobrarles con tarjeta a la llegado, pero el dia antes del check in me contctaron de un teléfono (que no es el que esta puesto en booking.com como contacto) para decirme que la estancia se tiene que pagar en efectivo. Las instrucciones al llegar no eran muy claras. Al poner en la aplicación de Grab The Platinum Kuala Lumpur bu Castle no existe, hay solo by Luma y otro, esto no se especifico. Al llegar en el sitio tuvimos que entrar y salir varias veces de uno a otro aunque mandabamos fotos donde estábamos, nadie salio a recogernos, al final encontramoa el sitio (de la foto que nos mando) y tuvimos que esperar a que baje para darnos la llave. El agua de la piscina estaba bastante fría.

If you’re able to sleep on concrete block - The entrance of the building was presentablr The room was totally misrepresented by the ad and photos on booking.com. It said the inclusions were a sofa bed- it was a dodgy sofa with no retractable bed. A second bathroom - no second bathroom only a toilet. Both beds were cheap and rock hard mattresses, sheets were stained, the smell of the apartment was stale. The worst part was that the person with the key named Tirtha took payment before I could see the room. Then when I complained he said they are all the same but when pushed he then showed us another room which had a second bathroom but no sofa bed. I complained again and all the other problems were still there. I said we cannot stay here and he said the company policy was no refunds. I asked to speak to his manager and he repeatedly said call booking.com. I was getting very angry by this stage and he said to me he was also angry with me! I had to make a decision for the safety of my family and not pursue this further and potentially land in trouble in a foreign country. I called the Westin at KL and was able To secure two beautiful rooms at 500 MYR per night which was not much more than the platinum piece of crap. In short, don’t ever go to a platinum apartment managed by Castle, and fully inspect the accommodation before making payment. If you’re able to sleep on concrete blocks then this is ok otherwise go elsewhere!

Com to book any hotel its a bad idea to trust a compamy like you no respect coustemer dont care about them when they pay you job is finish Am sure that any body reserved in booking they didnt repeat it

- Mohammad (8/5): My 1st time in platinum Suites - The swimming pool was superb, nice view.. the hotel location is good. The room is good but in one of the room, the master bedroom was infested with bed bugs. We stayed in #2305. Hopefully something could be done. Other then that, we had a wonderful stay..

- Federico (4/5): Great potential but hygiene factors lacking - The building itself is in a great location & quite fancy too, rooms are spacious. Despite the room having the potential to be a great one we literally had ants in the room. There were blood stains on some of the towels (which we could thankfully wash with the apartment washing machine) and the bedsheets were not clean (we also didn’t dare to sit on the couch given how stained it was). Might depend on the room you get but sorting for worst to best reviews shows this is quite a common experience (and would therefore question the authenticity of some of the reviews which seem to be made to counter the obvious problems the room had).

There were different sizes of cockroaches here and there, and there were some very small ants in both the bedrooms and kitchen! The microwave had no power. The check-in process was weird and it’s a problem if we didn’t have a way to make local phone calls at the time. We had no idea whether we’re paying the money to the right person.

- Mohamed (4/5): Good place to stay with family given the access to locations but be prepared to be not served by customer oriented hotel - The room amenities were good. Pool was good with good view Towel was not provided although it was mentioned that it would be provided. I had to keep asking the customer service many times only then it was provided. TV wasn’t working. Customer service was quite bad (disappointing) as they demanded an upfront payment for the stay which was not stated in any documentation provided by Booking.com or by the staff in-charge of these apartments and when called the manager to enquire on this, the tone that was taken was completely off. Either pay cash or do a card payment with 3% interest charge. All these before even seeing the room. Furthermore, during check in, I had asked if I can keep my baggage at the store room during my check out and come back within 3 hours to collect it (as my flight was much later). The customer service person said it was alright no problem. On day of check out, the customer service person demanded RM50 to keep the luggage. Such things should be clearly printed or stated in black and white or at least verbally mentioned upon my inquiry at the initial stages.
