• Lin (8/5): - The location is perfect. very close to where we plan to go. Cozy and quiet. Too small, esp., for the people from northern America. Balcony is not cleaned, so it is hard to get some fresh air. ( even there is no street view.) Also, you may prepare some garbage bag as it is hard for a new comer to find right products, and it does not cost much.

• Akshay (5/5): Awesome location, everything else here was half-baked - The location is super convenient. It's like a two-minute walk to Yushima Metro station and it's like 15 minute walk to Ueno station. There is a Family mart which is like a couple of minutes walk from the property and there are a lot of coffee shops around the area. There is also laundry across the street which is super convenient. Everything in this place is done half-heartedly. There's a washer but there's no dryer. The customer service is online only and you have to kind of hassle with them to get an actual person to talk on the phone. There's a lot of things getting lost in translation when chatting. The AC didn't work initially due to some issue. I was here for 10 days and there was nobody who came to clean or provide any fresh towels or anything. There's no coffee mug, which I found totally ridiculous because it even had a peeler. All the instruction is in Japanese, so you have to use the translation app to understand how to use all the utilities. The garbage situation is another thing which is not thought through. They tell you to separate the garbage and there is some website that they point you to. But when it comes to actually placing the garbage, you are not informed exactly what needs to go where in the garbage disposal room. There is no front desk, so you can't even receive any packages or store your luggage. The door lock is user hostile and doesn't register the codes a lot of the times because you really need to dig into those buttons.

The location was perfect for sightseeing, and the use of public transport.The code system was very easy to use and worked very well to access our Room. The room was clean, for the size it felt spacious and it worked well, and had all the amenities we needed. We thought we could have had an extra pillow the bed was small and cozy but very comfortable.

Washing machine/Dryer also available to use and complimentary washing also provided The apartment really needed a more thorough clean. When we arrived we were hit by a very musty smell coming from the flat. We found rubbish from previous individuals under the bed that hadn't been removed, and things like dust and hair on the floor of the bathroom. The bedside table did not work for us when we were there. Small things like tea/coffee/slippers would be an added bonus but our main issue was the attention to detail for cleaning the flat.

L'appartamento come il resto della struttura credo siano di recente costruzione o quantomeno tenuti benissimo. Purtroppo non c'è stata molta disponibilità da parte degli host al nostro arrivo per custodire i bagagli, ma a parte qiesto il soggiorno è stato davvero piacevole. Consigliatissimo

It has everything you need for a peaceful and independent stay, ideal for one or two people. It has a washing machine, but no dryer. If it had a dryer, it would have been perfect.

Very clear instructions provided for check in and rubbish disposal in the house manual. Very comfortable bed! Not a major issue, just be aware there are multiple teams that manage Dash Living, hence questions during your stay are to be sent to a different contact than via Booking.com messages.
• PILAR (7/5): Brand new but some details could improve - The bed was comfortable. The kitchen and bathroom were in good condition. Check - in instructions were clear. For a person who struggles to fall asleep like me, the apartment has a lot of blinking lights: router, TV, intercom, AC unit… when all is dark and you are ready to sleep the room becomes a disco 😓. Moreover, when the neighbors decided to cook dinner at 23:00 the smell of grilled meat entered the bedroom (even if ventilation was on) I couldn’t sleep well. Regarding trash: we stayed at different apartments like this before and not one asked us to sort the trash. I would understand if our stay were longer but for just 2-3 days the other apartments’ owners kindly asked us to separate trash in different well explained buckets, so they could dispose of them once we leave. In this occasion, if you don’t put it downstairs well separated you can be charged, kind of a penalty. That was stressful for me. Location wasn’t as convenient as we thought. There is nothing around, just a familymart. We also have a bad experience with a soba place near by: we entered to eat -timetable was ok- and the waiter said NO, and pointed us to leave .

• Ee Ling (8/5): Great location, responsive host, and secure building. - Comfortable stay at Dash Living Ueno Host: The hosts were consistently available and responsive, always ready to answer my questions. Their attentiveness gave me a strong sense of reassurance throughout my stay. Location: Just a minute’s walk from Yushima Station, the property is nestled in a quiet residential neighborhood. There’s a ramen shop and a burger joint conveniently located downstairs, while both 7-Eleven and Family Mart are within a five-minute walk along the main street. The unit: We stayed on the 8th floor and immediately appreciated the clean, neat atmosphere upon entering. With a small adjustment—shifting the plant—there was enough space to comfortably fit two large suitcases. Balcony: The unit includes a small balcony that functions more like a window. There’s not much of a view, and since we returned late most evenings, we didn’t end up using it during our stay. Lighting: I especially appreciated the thoughtful placement of the lights. They’re positioned away from the sofa and bed, creating a cozy and glare-free environment. Recovery work: On the first night, I noticed that one of the towels had black spots—possibly mold—at the corner. I took a photo and used it anyway, avoiding the affected area as I was too tired to deal with it immediately. After I informed the host, they promptly sent a replacement, which I appreciated. Security: The building’s security setup is excellent. Upon entry, there’s a general access door, followed by another passcode-protected door leading to the lift lobby. We felt safe and well-protected throughout our stay. Additional thoughts on my stay at Dash Living Ueno Laundry setup: The washing machine does not include a dryer, but there’s a convenient bar in the bathroom where clothes can be hung to dry overnight using the built-in heater. It worked well, though having a dryer would have saved the extra effort of hanging clothes manually. Furniture: I would have appreciated a larger table in the room. The current round table is quite small and not ideal for working or dining comfortably. Bed size: For guests accustomed to king-sized beds, the bed may feel a bit compact. That said, the bedsheets were soft and comfortable, which made for a pleasant sleep overall. Pillow comfort: I would be truly grateful if future guests could be offered a more supportive pillow option. As someone with sinus issues, the provided pillow was too low, and I ended up using the sofa cushion to adjust my sleeping posture. I did make a request to the host, but it was politely declined.

Gelinmesini istediğimiz saatten daha erken gelindiği için birkaç defa uyandırıldık. Öğleden sonra saat 14:00te gelinmesi için anlaştık ama yine gelmediler konum olarak metroya yakınlığı nedeniyle tercih etmiştik ancak eve yakın olan metro girişinde yürüyen merdiven yada asansör olmadığı için valiz taşımakta oldukça zorlandık. Ev sahibinin iyi niyet ve samimiyetine inanıyorum ancak beklentilerimizi karşılayan bir konaklama deneyimi yaşayamadık malesef.

Si tienen vuelo en la tarde noche, combiene reservar una noche extra. Solo mencionar que pedimos late check out y después de responder con evasivas nos dijeron que no era posible porque le dificultaba al equipo de limpieza. ( hasta propusimos pagar noche extra)

• urara (10/5): 満足、また利用したい。そして施設提供の写真通りの部屋でした。 - 広めで清潔で、必要なものは揃っていた。自炊も充分可能。サラダ油，塩、胡椒があった。紙タオルもたくさんあり、食器も拭けた。 よく民泊だと見た目はきれいだが、水をこぼしてちょっと拭くと真っ黒になるといった、床の手抜き掃除を経験してきたが、ここはそんなことはなかった。キレイな真っ白だった。綿棒、絆創膏まで揃っていた。そして水の2Lペットボトルが冷蔵庫にあった。 1人宿泊だったがタオルは2組あったので、洗濯して毎日清潔なのが使えた。 注意点:歯ブラシ、パジャマはない。 残念だったのは、シーツに赤いシミがついていた。 なんとなく枕と寝具に異臭あり。 食器の水切りカゴがあると便利だったかな。 bookingcomでは日本語だったがメール返信が英語だった。最初から英語とわかっていれば英語で返信したのに。

• Julia (9/5): - Die Lage war super. Total zentral und trotzdem ruhig. Eine Metro Station war nur ca. 200 m entfernt. Das Apartment war für Tokio relativ groß. Für 2 Personen wirklich ausreichend. Die Ausstattung war auch gut, Wasserkocher, Mikrowelle, Kühlschrank, Geschirr, Duschgel, Shampoo und Conditioner. Es gibt für uns nichts negatives.

• Johnnygoes (9/5): Clean comfy stay in Ueno - very clean and looking almost new interior. it provided almost all of our needs. Kitchenette, washing machine (although no dryer, so you have to hang you items in the shower/bath room and turn on the heat blower to dry things). Good location with restaurants and grocery store nearby. Just several blocks to Ueno Park and a shopping area. The only thing we thought was lacking was no coffee/tea mugs/cups. There were 2 drinking glasses.
• Saran (8/5): Superb location, spacious - but beware of the 'hidden' ¥10,000 cleaning fee! - The location was great, literally 2-min walk from Yushima station which connects to other core lines. It was an easy check-in process with clear guidelines. The unit looked new, clean, and very spacious! The bed was comfortable. It is a great spot within the city, and very quiet area too! The 10,000 yen cleaning fee was hidden from the main pricing that was advertised on Booking.com, or at least designed to be inconspicuous. I didn't realise there was this additional fee until my card was swiped haha. While the unit was overall quite clean, I did notice 1-2 stray hairs lying around. Thankfully I had sanitary wipes to wipe it down!

• Ying (9/5): Superb - New apartment, modern, clean and comfortable to stay in the NO SMOKING area. The communication from staff was excellent. Quiet neighborhood, which was wonderful. The code door was difficult to use and did not lock properly sometimes. It needed several tries. In this sense, a little too modern.
• Calista (10/5): Exceptional - It was a very comfortable and wonderful stay! The location was great, the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very nice, too! We couldn't store our luggage before check-in time.
