Guest Reviews
- Cassandra (10/5): Pure bliss - We loved the location and set up of this property. The nightly star gazing was our ultimate favourite. The host was fantastic and gave us plenty of recommendations.

- Sae (10/5): Great gateway in a beautiful farm land. - It’s just perfect size for a sole traveler with a dog. Beautiful open private view from the top of the hill, comfortable inside, warm outside with the fire. I can feel the house is little shaky with my dog shaking, so you may feel more with 2 people.
- Mahesh (10/5): Exceptional -
- Stephanie (10/5): Super cosy and a great, tech-free stay! - The host, Brooke was amazing! The instructions on location were clear and the property was exactly as it was expected!
I also loved that I could take my dog! Very welcoming and suitable for pets. I liked everything about the property, but it is quite small (as stated). It also did not have wifi or a TV, but this was all states on the advertisement. Perfect for a tech-free weekend of board games and quality time with loved ones!
- Briana (6/5): Wouldn’t stay again - It is very cute and neat It was all in all pretty disappointing. It just isn’t worth the price.
It is just a tiny home dumped on a very crappy base of broken tiles and rocks right next to a big shed and other caravans. It felt like we were in a gypsy camp.
There is no proper drainage so the water from the sink and shower runs down to where the outdoor fire pit and chairs are. The toilet had a gross odour.
There was no kindling supplied for the fire and all the big pieces had been left in the rain, we had to go find our own. I’m sure we could have requested it but who wants the host hovering around when you’ve paid for a night away.
There was no toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap). Lucky we had brought our own. Again, possibly could have asked for them but shouldn’t have to. The tea and coffee looked like it had been stolen from hotels and the “free drinking water” was yellow.
No real effort made to make the place enticing, it’s just a bed and a very uncomfortable metal table and chairs. A nice touch for an off grid cabin would be some books or board games and a bit of information about the local area would have been nice. I wouldn’t stay again.
- U'llynda (3/5): Pleasant stay with some issues - Beautiful surrrounds on a farming property. The views are spectacular, felt like I was in the south of France. Comfortable bed, fire pit, everything you need for a pleasant stay. Eco friendly. There was an ant infestation in the kitchen on arrival, I had to use the Ant Rid and ant spray I luckily had in my van to fix it, and clean up the dead ants with disinfectant wipes. There was nothing to build a fire - no kindling or firelighters, and the firewood was all wet as it was left outside. Firelighters and kindling were dropped off after dark. There was also no lamps next to the bed so I had to use my own camping lantern. The broken up bits of rock and tiles outside were a hazard especially as I am disabled and have a recent injury. Constantly had to move the outside table and chairs off of them for them to be stable. There is also one set of stairs on the left side of the entrance which is not the side you park on, so having to go around every time to unpack/pack the car was inconvenient. I stayed with 2 cats, there is a $30 pet fee - however, Tiny Away who manages this account told me to contact the host to pay it, which I did before check in, and she didn't respond to it. She then asked for the fee after I had already checked out at 10am, and wanted me to leave cash at the property - I had already left. I was willing to pay it via bank transfer however she was rude about me having my NDIS support worker come to help me pack up and clean up on the morning of check out, as no other people are supposed to come to the property while staying. But she knew I had just been discharged from hospital and was disabled, so I needed the help. My support worker was there for half an hour only. I then advised I was not paying the pet fee due to the ant infestation and the fire equipment not being available on arrival, she mentioned my cats foot prints on one side of the bedsheet which I advised her about on check out - I put blankets on the bed due to "no pets on furniture" policy however they walked on that section while I was sleeping and the blanket must have slipped off. It was just a little dirt from when they had been outside on their long...
- Annette (8/5): Peace and Quiet - Great break from hustle and bustle and enjoy outdoor bbq dinner and fire pit. So peaceful- worth doing
- Knp (9/5): Peaceful getaway for two - This was seriously spotless and had everything we needed - loved firing up the BBQ and hanging by the Fire Pit! It was the ultimate peaceful retreat, totally beyond what we expected. Brooke, our host, was an absolute champ, super patient and ensured we were all set up for a smooth check in. Despite a slight hiccup getting lost on the way, Brooke came to our rescue. She went above and beyond by sending a Google pin location, which helped us find our way back on track. Her help was a lifesaver! Highly recommend for a chill and peaceful getaway!
