I’ve never seen a place so organised and tidy. Cosy and warm despite the cold weather. Lavinia and Matthew were lovely hosts. Very accommodating and we were super grateful for our stay. Lavinia was super attentive and provided both a cot and high chair for our little one and the beds were very comfortable. The botanical toiletries were a bonus. We didn't end up using the swim spa or firepit but both looked great. Great location if you are visiting the NSW Rail Museum in Thirlmere. We will be back! The fact that our holiday ended!

Immaculate home with everything you could need. Beautifully decorated, enjoyed wandering the garden. Extremely comfortable for all 6 of us of various ages. Great to stay the whole time, or go on little trips to explore the lovely local area. Lavinia’s products smell divine and couldn’t help but have a spend up in her shop. Added bonus is that it is dog friendly. Also a good balance of Lavinia being available if we needed her , and leaving us to ourselves. Thanks so much! 🤷🏻‍♀️

• Marie (10/5): A fantastic home in a lovely quiet area! - This home was perfect for our adult family visiting the area for a family wedding. The home is new, well appointed with everything we needed and very clean, in a lovely quiet area. We stayed in September & weather was cold but there were plenty of blankets, heaters etc for warmth. (We didn’t use the pool or spa). Lavinia was a lovely host, she is next door - not intrusive at all (we saw her on our arrival & departure) but she’s available if needed. We would highly recommend staying here - I was very impressed with the home. We loved it!

It is such an easy drive to and from the Hume Highway too which is wonderful for us with being from Victoria, beds were comfortable and the house had everything we needed. • Steven (10/5): A moden place away from the city to sit back and relax. - We recently had the pleasure of staying at Camellia Cottage for 7 days, and I must say, it was a truly wonderful experience. From the modern amenities to the cosy and welcoming atmosphere, this cottage exceeded all our expectations. First and foremost, the cottage itself is new, beautifully designed, and decorated. The modern furnishings and colour scheme create a comfortable and stylish ambience. Lavinia also has some beautiful self-made artwork in each room, which is stunning. The cottage is also equipped with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay, including fast-speed Wi-Fi, a fully equipped kitchen, internal laundry, two showers and a large bath tub, comfortable beds,ceiling fans in the bedrooms, a cosy living room area with a TV and DVD player, as well as many DVDs, air conditioning, and much more. It truly felt like a home away from home. One of the highlights of our stay was the outdoor space. The cottage has a beautiful patio area where I spent many mornings enjoying my coffee and taking in the picturesque views of the surrounding nature. The cottage also has a spacious backyard, perfect for a picnic or just lounging in the sun. The owners, who occupy the main house on the land, were also fantastic hosts. Very respectful of our privacy and incredibly friendly, helpful, and always available to answer any questions or provide recommendations for things to do in the area. Their hospitality truly added to the overall experience and made us feel right at home. There is also a huge spa pool, which they maintain and will quickly setup on request, as they keep a lid on it to prevent insects, frogs, debris, etc. from getting in. Overall, our stay at Camellia Cottage was nothing short of perfect. The combination of modern amenities, a cosy atmosphere, and welcoming hosts made it a truly unforgettable experience. I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay in a beautiful and modern setting.

We don’t have any pet, at the beginning we are worry about this house may have some smell because it is pet allow live with, but when we arrived the house is clean and tidy, it look like we are the first family live in. All stuff your need the owner are all ready for us, just bring your own food and go to live here , even there are some chopsticks are ready to use , is very convenient for our Asian family. Everything was nice, new and clean, we had everything we needed, the view looking into the farm was fantastic, bed was comfortable, a good selection of different teas and the gusto caffee machine was great, provided pots and pans and the modern stove and oven made it really easy to cook inside ... • Mark (10/5): An enjoyable and peaceful night spent in a lovely space. - The place was extraordinarily clean and had all the necessary facilities for us to have a comfortable stay. Lavinia was very flexible with our arrival time and she met us at the door as soon as we got to the place. The coffee machine is pretty good and the living room/kitchen area is surprisingly spacious. The backyard is huge (as it is ungated) and so there's heaps of space to enjoy a peaceful walk in the nature. There's also a couple of boardgames at the house to keep you entertained if you find yourself stuck at the place. The only two things which should be noted are that the spa isn't on the property of the Camelia cottage so you need to ask the owners for access if you want to use it, and there is also a neighbour who seems to have a sensor which randomly goes off at night (we think it detects animals to scare them off). If you're a light sleeper, this might be a minor issue. However, these were very small issues that are outweighed by everything else we liked about the stay.

We met a friend for lunch today whose partner tripped 6 mo ago on a bathroom raised tile and hit his head - spinal cord injury, he's a quadriplegic trying to recover mobility.

The complementary shower products were fantastic. I will definitely have to use the swim spa my next stay. The owner greeted me with helpful advice of where to eat, I felt very welcomed. I didn’t get to stay longer, one night isn’t enough.
• Julie (10/5): Cody and Annison family - The cottage was super clean and spacious and walked out the back to a lovely outlook of lawn surrounded by flowers, ducks, Rosella's, kookaburras. With plenty of room for outside activities. Hosts Lavinia and Matthew were friendly and could not have helped more. Lavinias fabulous products throughout the cottage were divine. We would recommend a stay here for a relaxing trip with plenty of areas to explore. Thank you for one of the best weeks' stay. We had to all go home to work. Could have stayed and lapped up the atmosphere and enjoyed the peaceful surroundings.

Comfortable beds and a great DVD selection for the kids. Full kitchen washing machine and dryer. A great place for families. The lovely smelling natural soaps, shampoo and conditioner in the bathrooms are amazing the host makes all her own product. We could have more time to explore the area more we only had two nights and that went by too fast its a great area with lots to do and see. We didn't find anything wrong with staying there other than a very minor that we forgot to bring slippers for our feet as it was winter.

It was just a short drive away. Livinia had made muffins which were a nice surprise. The rooms were cozy, with heaters in each room and blankets. We had our kids with us, so enjoyed being able to watch one of the DVDs and also playing some of the games in the cupboard. The boys also enjoyed the ducks in the bathtub. Nothing, it had all you needed for the stay.
