Roselyn Grace (3/5): Make sure the apartment is clean before the next guest arrive. - Location I got bombarded by text about rules and charges. I expected that place is complete. Cups dirty with tea stain, rusty pan, stainless pot no handle, plates and bowls with broken chip on the edges, broken bottle glass pieces on veranda floor. Plus other on walls and on doors that needs to be fix if you wanted be a 5 star apartment. I wonder if the towels are washed?

Danielle (3/5): Unclean, lack of care and uncomfortable furniture. - Location was good. There were a number of issues with the apartment. We immediately noticed how it seemed unclean. Cutlery was unwashed and floors were so dirty our feet were black. The tea and sugar bowls were empty apart from a single tea bag. A dirty sock was in one cupboard and a broken necklace in another. There was no linen for the pull out couch apart from an unwashed and uncovered doona. The ensuite shower didn’t drain correctly and almost flooded the bathroom on multiple occasions. The beds were extremely uncomfortable, as was the pull out couch. Cushions smelled dirty and had marks on them. The second bedroom had a high pitched noise which continued into the night. Lobby smelled awful. General lack of cleanliness and poorly maintained. Chairs and dining table were cheap and outdoor plastic chairs rather than dining chairs. Not a good experience overall.

Kerryn (1/5): Ruined our weekend away, - Location Almost everything. The apartment was extremely tired and in serious need of a thorough cleane. Lock to get into apartment was hard to use and needs replacing, when message sent to host was told it was how we were using the key… Once inside the place was dirty. Stove top had grease and left over food on it, fridge looked like it hadn’t been wiped out in months, grease and over most surfaces, bathrooms had mould and faecal covered toilet brushes, toilet seats even had hair (not belonging to us) on them. Photos sent to host, was told they would send someone to rectify our concerns. A member of there “team” came around with a bottle of spray cleaner and one cloth, wiped over the top of the cooker, then proceeded to wipe out the fridge using the same cloth and left. Absolutely disgusting.

Ferreira (8/5): Good stay, but more keys and a full-length mirror are needed for better comfort. - The location There were only two keys provided for an apartment accommodating six people, which was very inconvenient. It would be more suitable to provide at least three keys, especially since there is no way to call the lift without one. In one of the rooms, the curtain is installed on the wrong side, which allows too much light in and affects comfort. Additionally, I suggest adding a full-length mirror in the apartment. As we were four women getting ready, having only mirrors in the bathrooms was not sufficient.

Anthony (2/5): Filthy, terrible communication, tried to wrongly charge me additional fees after booking - The location Would not recommend this place It started with them trying to charge me additional fees, after I had paid for the accommodation (non refundable). In the end I reported it to booking.com, who confirmed that they were not allowed to charge me these fees and so they dropped it. Dodgy! It took 6 weeks to sort this out, due to their terrible communication and lack of reponses. It only got sorted the day before check in. Then when I arrived, the place was filthy. Smelt of dirty cooking oil, and it looked like the place had not been cleaned. There was rubbsih and food under the bed, both the microwave and oven were filthy, the blind cords were oily, a dead bug squished on the wall. The shower head was broken, so too was the bathroom sink drain. The shower leaked into the floor of the bathroom such that it partially flooded every time we showered. I reported all this to them on the first morning of my week long stay, and they didnt send any cleaners around until day 3 of my stay! And even then, the cleaners still didnt clean everything up! Again reported it, and again total lack of communication from the property. I find it hard to believe how properties can be run like this. I certainly would NOT recommend staying in this place - unless you like staying in a cesspit and dealing with unprofessional and unhelpful staff. Definitely the dirtiest place I've ever stayed in, and up there with one of the worst accommodation experiences I've had (And I've had a few!)
Melissa (4/5): Cheap and nasty in a great location. - The location and price were great. As seen on several previous reviews, the hotel room was dirty. Thick dust, large toe-nail clippings in the bedroom, the t.v screen needed a really good clean, rubbish and thick dust under the t.v. Broken blind that covered the view, dirty knife and fork drawer and dirty cutlery and bowls and a filthy bin. The washing machine didn't work and no information stating that. Terrible smell on exit from the lift, next to the rubbish chute and the hallway carpet was really dirty and not cleaned/vacuumed for 2 days. Most of the wine glasses were cracked. Possibly the worst was the black gunk that come up through the plumbing after using the taps. I had to clean the sink twice daily after washing hands and cleaning teeth!!!!!! This is the first time I have experienced this through booking.com. Words of wisdom; "you get what you pay for"

Ian (10/5): Brilliant location and access to city. - First,exceptional location, very close to southern cross station and tram stops were around corner. Second, Kim answered questions immediately and enabled both early check in and late check out for our convenience. Third, we were upgraded to a three bed apartment which was perfect for two parents and three young adults! Everything was as expected ✅

Shauna (1/5): disappointing and dirty - the only thing we liked was the location and the shower water pressure. the smoke alarms were broken with no battery, which I reported immediately, the bed slats were broken and the bed on a lean, not much kitchen wear, a dirty used kitchen cloth, the apartment was dirty, towels and bedding cheap and old. the host kept messaging me about the garbage. I received 18 messages in total from him. when I asked for a car spot, had to pay in and prove payment in advance, then he told me he had no one to arrange a car sport, then took 5 days for me to be refunded.
Kavana (9/5): Great Location, clean, convenient and spacious - It was convenient and access to everything I think the toilet could be more cleaner! The drains were a bit slow in both the sink as well as the shower, which stagnated the water.

We are a family of 5 and communication is really difficult when you are inside the unit especially we were only given one set of keys. It was advertised that the unit has wifi. There was a cigarette butt on the balcony and there was no bin or bin liner provided in the kitchen.

Spencer outlet centre and Cole’s right at the end of the street. And Southbank DFO only a 20min walk. If you don’t want to walk tram at end of street. Close to southern cross station too.

A little more attention to detail needed i.e. glasses only 3 and there was 4 of us and one badly cracked. Not enough coffee cups, presentation of tea & coffee could be a lot better, long life milk.

Still had to go to a different location at midnight to collect keys. Bed VERY hard. Bathroom products were in huge "value" 1 litre size bottles and hard to handle and of a cheap unknown brand.

Isobel (7/5): It was a lovely place in a great area of the city, the stay was let down by the lack of crockery and bathroom situation. - The location was great and the apartment was very clean -There were no cups or glasses to have a drink of water or hot drinks. -the bathroom sink didn’t drain very well so it was become full quickly and drain slowly. -the shower was very hot or very cold and couldn’t be adjusted to stay hot or cold so showering was uncomfortable.

Ben (1/5): Cheap for the location but not clean - Great location. Easy for all sorts of transport options and shops. Unit was disgustingly dirty. Filthy kids hands covered in food over most windows. The general cleaning standard was so gross. Microwave had sticky tape holding door on and you could open it 40% of the way. We complained about general cleanliness within 30mins of being there and they did send someone who did a quick wipe over bench and left 🤣. They could double the cleaning budget the cleaners are allowed and it would still be not enough. Tried taking our $300 bond because of the already broken couch arm before we complained to booking and got it refunded.

Rebecca (1/5): Worst place I've ever stayed. DO NOT STAY HERE... - Nothing I would not recommend staying at this accommodation. From the moment we arrived, the experience was stressful and disappointing. First we had to try and find the shop that had our key in a cupboard down the back, and Accessing the allocated car park was chaotic and poorly managed. The area was congested with vehicles trying to enter and exit, and we were left trying to navigate it ourselves, which resulted in a very unpleasant encounter with other patrons. There appeared to be no staff support or clear system in place. We had to find and pay extra for alternative parking 2 blocks away! Unfortunately, things didn’t improve once we got to the room. The cleanliness was unacceptable — benches had not been wiped down, beds not made properly, blocked shower and dirty grout in bathrooms, stained couch and the overall condition of the room made it feel as though it had not been properly serviced before our arrival. This immediately made us uncomfortable. For the price paid, we expected a much higher standard. Instead, the stay caused unnecessary stress and frustration. The whole building smelt like rotten garbage and our faces had to be covered whenever we left the room due to the stench. Overall, a very disappointing experience, and we will not be returning.

After reading reviews on this accommodation in Melbourne I was worried about what to expect. The unit had some minor issues but was fairly modern. View was good. Plenty of food/bar options etc close by. There was also lots of dishwashing liquid, bath washes, glad wrap and foil salt and pepper etc in the unit. May have been left behind by other persons or supplied by owner. Our unit number was 4209. Key collection (key was not where we were told and after contacting them we had a 5 min walk to a 711 store to collect) Cleanliness of balcony at unit (dirty) plus no table only chairs. Better Mattress on bed. Mattress did have marks on it but linen was clean. A few broken items and marks on walls and blinds. Cleanliness could have been better on some things. Also for a 1 bedroom apartment we had a single bed stuck in our living area. Unsure why it was there. Pool was closed when we tried to use it. Reading other reviews this is a common thing with these apartments. It was ok but I would not stay there again as I expect better for what I pay for.

Laura (6/5): Comfortable beds and great shower, lacking in a lot of basic ammenities. - The beds were very comfy, and the shower pressure was great. Location was super handy. I didn't make the most of the amenities in the building but my partner did and he enjoyed the pool and steam room. Unfortunately a bit. The place did not look like the photos (it was a lot more barebones than in the pictures used). A lot of basic stuff was missing, like a garbage for the kitchen, coat hangers, stuff to clean and tidy up (vacuum cleaner, broom, paper towels, spray etc.). Upon arrival as well most of the pots, pans and cutlery had not been cleaned properly. The clotheshorse available to dry clothing was small and rusty in places (which ended up staining some of my shirts). The wifi in this room was absolutely terrible, and the TV was a pretty cheap model with really bad sound quality.

The toilet shower had hair on the handle. Most depressing parking.. paid 45$ per night for the most inconvenience parking. The communication was poor as no phone called was answered. The bed duna and pillows were all smelly I have been to many Airbnb and hotel, thus i have to say this was the worst one.

Eugene (6/5): - Location was good for us. Very near to Southern Cross Station. 1. Followed instructions for the apartment key/security card to collect from a combination lock box at a mini market. The box was EMPTY! Had to ring the host for the keys. A staff came and handed me the keys.🤦‍♂️ 2. Apartment 3404 was located in front of the garbage/rubbish bin room. After several days, the bin room smelled terribly and the smell wafted into our apartment. Terrible because the bin room was smelly and haven't been cleaned for several days. Also other tenants staying on the same floor were going in and out of the bin room to throw their rubbish, the bin room door was being slammed constantly due to the auto-closing of the door. There were a couple of nights, tenants were in and out of the bin room past midnight and the slamming of the bin door went on for like 3 minutes! Room is good albeit scratches on walls, cracks here and there, etc (informed host about the minor defects). Also, no hangers but 2 miserable-looking aluminium wire-looking hangers. Brought this up with the host via whatsapp but no one attended to my complaints.

Loved having a little apartment where you could cook food or do washing. The view was stunning! Overlooking the ocean while eating breakfast on the balcony was fabulous 😍 I would have liked a top sheet on the bed as well as the doona, as I am a very hot sleeper, but that's more a "me" issue :)

Natasha (5/5): Nice location, but they need a new cleaning company - We liked the location The cleaning had a lot to be desired, I noted in the invoice breakdown we were charged $100 cleaning fee but the only thing done was the beds being made, the bathroom was dirty and the draws in bed were filthy, skirting boards look like they have never been wiped over, did not really use the kitchen but there were rings from previous drinks on the table, when asking for a refund on the cleaning fee we were informed they would look into it and get back to me but have not had a reply when I have tried to follow up. Also only had one key card available and had to pay extra if we wanted a second one, I feel if booking Nd or two people you should get two keys
