Guest Reviews
- Tony (10/5): Great place in the heart of Rome. Feels like you’re part of the culture there. Walking distance to everything and nice r - Location
- Economou (1/5): Unfortunately, despite the fantastic location of the accommodation, the experience turned out to be very unpleasant. The -

- Angharad (10/5): Our little Rome Home 🫶🏻 - This is the perfect mini home in Rome!
It has EVERYTHING you need to enjoy the city. The bed is super comfy and big. The bathroom is compact but very clean! The whole apartment is very clean!!
The blinds block out the light so if you want a lie in you can but why would you in Rome!!
I can’t write enough nice words about this place! Paola is super lovely & very friendly too! Her responses are quick and really helpful.
The building is quiet and you feel like you’re living with locals. A real Rome experience!!! Shops for coffee & snacks very close and all the sites within 20 mins walk on flat ground!!! Taxi ordered to the door on arrival and departure. I hated leaving!! It’s just lush!!
- Linda (7/5): Un buon rapporto prezzo/posizione - La posizione eccellente Troppo piccola
Extrémní hluk i v noci...
Hlučná klimatizace.
36€ vložit do krabičky na pokoji se mi vůbec nechtělo, ale nakonec jsem € vložil!!!
- Oksana (10/5): We were happy in Rome! Thank you, Paola - The apartment is perfectly located in the center of Rome, with everything you need just as described. Almost everything is within walking distance – you can reach museums and landmarks by choosing a new route each day, or easily access public transport. Castel Sant’Angelo is just across the bridge over the Tiber, St. Peter’s Basilica is a 10-minute walk, Trastevere about 20 minutes, and the whole city opens up as you explore on foot. Communication with the host was excellent and always available. The apartment is small and tall people will have to adapt to its space.

- Lauryn (1/5): DO NOT STAY HERE. IT’S ABSOLUTELY SHOCKING. - NOTHING! The only good thing about this place was the location. I almost never write reviews because I never feel the need to warn people off of something, but this I do. DO NOT DO IT. It was the worst accommodation I’ve ever stayed in, it was filthy. The photos show that it’s small, you will be shocked at just how small it really is! They’re clever making one of the walls mirrors to give the illusion of space. There are bugs everywhere, a whole colony of them on the left corner near the window. The bed and seats fabrics are stained and grotty looking. The walls are all marks and could most definitely do with a fresh lick of paint. The ladders (pictures 2&3) for the “bedroom” upstairs, if you can even call it that are a health and safety hazard, so much so that no one even went up there…there was 3 of us and we had to share the sofa bed! The only reason we couldn’t leave was because there was absolutely no accommodation available anywhere, we tried absolutely everywhere…it’s the jubilee year so can’t expect otherwise. It was so bad we weren’t caring where we would end up, anything would have been better than here. We paid a lot for this holiday, we came from Palermo first, it was a beautiful apartment (casa4casa on here) and did not want to ruin it by just going home. We had to unfortunately suck it up and just be in that “box”, is what we called it, as little as possible. We were out as much as possible to avoid this place. I had to antibac/detol the entire place before we done anything. Luckily, I travel with my own bedsheets to use like a sleeping bag! I could go on and on about the place, I honestly don’t think I should need to though…just don’t do it! You can definitely get some place a lot better for either the same money or just a tiny bit extra, and it would be absolutely worth it…trust me. The owner, Paola has absolutely no in person contact with you (she did answer messages tho), I knew it was off straight away when there was no passport check/copy the way you are supposed to…that was a red flag already. We got a message saying there would be the cleaning team (ha, if you can call them that) halfway through the stay but I told her it wasn’t necessary, I just said it was fine as is because I knew that if I told her the truth of how we felt, there was no way we would get a refund if we had the option of leaving for somewhere else. I informed booking.com of the situation at the time but now that we are home and don’t have the worry of being “homeless” abroad I will make sure they know just how bad it is. There was no handwash upon arrival, which is a basic necessity. The shower leaks causing a puddle, oh don’t get me started on the bathroom…unless you are a child, and even at that, you are going to be very uncomfortable in there. When on the toilet, your knees hit the shower and your side the washing machine. You have to stand to wipe otherwise the wall is in the way of bending your arm. The sink drain is so dirty the plug got stuck after dropping it in accidentally and I had to spend almost 40 minutes trying to get it unstuck! The kitchen utensils (not that I would have dreamed of using them) were so dated, they have most definitely had their time. The kettle was also dirty looking inside. We didn’t use a single thing in this place, if we needed anything we bought it. You leave your city tax in a little box on the table which doesn’t lock and there’s no proof you actually left it other than your word - yeah, sounds good eh…so of course I filmed myself leaving it in the box and locking the apartment door and putting the keys back in the lockbox for my own safety and peace of mind as I didn’t trust it. If you ever go by just one review in your life, let it be this one!!! This was my 25th birthday trip and this accommodation ruined it partly.
- Brown (9/5): Superb - The location could not be more perfect for a visit to Rome. Just the fact that you had super easy access to the buses walking distance to so many amazing restaurants and St Peter's Basilica made it absolutely a wonderful first visit to Italy. The only thing that we found tricky was that with the fold out bed there was very little room to get around in the apartment so expect to put the bed away everyday in order to have a more livable space. As well the bathroom is very small. I'm not sure that my other son would have been able to fit in the shower without bonking himself. Definitely tight quarters but we made it work.
- Radka (5/5): Passable - Close to Trastavere and St. Angelo castle. The host was very fast to reply and help whenever there was a problem. The check-in is at wpm but when we came there was still dirty bed sheets and trash from the previous guests so we had to wait for the cleaning. The cleaning staff was done within 15 minutes which is basically impossible to clean properly. There is very little space in the bathroom and we used flip-flops in the shower because it was tok dirty to step on barefoot. You can also hear every noise from the street so it is very difficult to sleep. The internet was slow.
- Luka (9/5): Excellent location, clean, easy check in and responsive host. -
- Lamberti (9/5): Superb - The location is ideal. Good place for sleeping and going out to see things during the day. .
- Adam (8/5): Worth every penny - Absolutely superb location , literally at the doorstep to Saint Angel Castel ( 5 min walk ) , Saint Peter Basilic - 10 min walk , you are close to EVERYTHING! Trastevere - place when Rome is feed - 15-20 min walk - we eat there every day of our 8 days in Rome , go and look for La Canonica absolute Gem, you are in Rome , Holy Place in La Canonica you are in Haven Of Flavours. Explore all lovely streets around you , all those shops , restaurant's , people. You will Love there, highly recommended. Nothing I can think of
- Margarita (10/5): Nice and clean place in the center of Rome - Very, very positive experience! Location is perfect, room is clean, easy accessible, lots of places to eat around. But the best thing about it is the host! Very helpful and friendly! Thanks a lot and very much appreciated Please, be aware that sleeping place on the top you may reach out only if you are quite young and slim 😊 For me was not an issue
- Morellla (8/5): Very good - Check-in was a breeze, and the host provided clear instructions while being very responsive. The apartment is perfect for two persons as it is quite small, but this was expected based on the photos and reviews. Plus, we mainly used the apartment for sleeping, as there's so much to explore in the beautiful city of Rome! The location is great - just a 10 minute walk from the Vatican, with a bus stop right out front that takes you to the Colosseum and Termini station. Despite a few hiccups, the host remained kind, understanding, and quick to respond throughout our stay. It would have been helpful to have a sponge to wash the kitchenware. Other than that, everything was good!
- Kate (7/5): Good -
- Fernando (10/5): Exceptional - Has everything needed. Small but comfortable. Located in a very good area in walking distance to numerous places in the city Internet didn’t worked at all and water pressure is inefficient
- John (7/5): A great value with AC, wifi, laundry, kitchenette in a cozy space. - This is a cozy accommodation that has all the essentials and is a great value. I never saw the host, but she returned all my messages promptly. The apartment was exactly as advertised.
- Danny (4/5): Disappointing -
- Ana (8/5): Very good - It was great to have a washer. The bathroom is very small but manageable. WiFi is slow.
- Volkan (9/5): Superb -
- Kseniia (8/5): Very good - Wonderful stay at this accommodation! The location was fantastic, with easy access to groceries and cafes nearby. The host was incredibly helpful and accommodating throughout my visit. The place was also very clean. The internet connection was sometimes slow, which was a bit inconvenient. Additionally, the apartment felt a little cramped for my family of three, making it slightly challenging to move around comfortably.
- Loucille (8/5): Very good -
- Luiz (6/5): Pleasant - Extremely well located. Walking distance from most iconic attractions. Easy communication with host. We had problems to have hot water during our stay.
- Chris (9/5): Great stay in Rome in a small but well located apartment - Great location in Rome. Can walk to many sights and get buses too. Apartment was clean Very small apartment - needs updating. Bit noisy too.
- Adam (8/5): Great apartment for short stay in central Rome - Great location and facilities. Aircon unit was effective. Sofa bed comfortable. Bathroom is quite small, so if you need a lot of room be prepared for this. Some noise from road.
- Marika (7/5): Great location and value for money. - Great location and great value for money. The decor was very nice and it was very clean. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and the upstairs apartment was very loud early in the morning
- Sam (7/5): Good -
- Forn (7/5): Good -
- Tasos (9/5): Superb - If you are a big guy (I am 1,90m and 110kg) this house is small. It's almost impossible to sit on the toilet. Beware it's a very small house.
- Caldoc94 (8/5): Perfect for a short break in Rome! - The place was clean and comfortable. It had everything we needed for a short break in the city. Its location was an easy walk or short car journey to all the sites we wanted to see.
- Angela (10/5): Perfect stay for young travellers - Please stay here!! To all the young travellers reading this and lost with where to stay, this is the place for you. The area is amazing very close to all main monuments, the bus stops and the local surrounding community is gorgeous. Honestly nothing it was perfect
- Blessy (6/5): Pleasant - The location was great, central location in Rome and good to wake up to the City of Rome, near all the facilities. We had issues with the bathroom washing sink - which was blocked, therefore the water wouldn't flow through smoothly, that really was a bother. Other than that everything was good.
- Gregory (6/5): Pleasant -
- Gail (9/5): Superb - fabulous location. Small (as described) but everything we needed for the week. Easy stroll to St Peters, Piazza Navone, Pantheon etc.
- Deiny (6/5): Pleasant - Amazing location, bus stops right in front of the apartment, easy to travel around the city. The AC didn't work that well so we had to keep the windows and the door open to get some airflow. Because we had to keep the window open all the time there was a lot of loud noise 24´7. The host was amazing and got us a small fan when we requested for it, which helped us out a little.
- Alma (10/5): Exceptional - Location is great, walking distance to good part of things you wanna see in Rome. Place is small but has everything you need for a short stay. The extendable sofa downstairs is really giant and comfortable. Nice entrance and good neighborhood. Great communication with host, easy check in. Kitchen is quite small (no oven or microwave but hey, who goes to Rome to cook at home!) :)
- Heather (10/5): Located within walking distance to all the main attractions. Everythinf was provided for an exceptional stay in Rome - Great location. Very clean and comfortable.
