• Chantelle (10/5): Peaceful bliss, warm and comforting - Beautiful property! Warm and fun, would be amazing in the summer just as much as winter. We had snow cover all around to the frozen river. It was incredibly peaceful. Hot tub was delightful, sauna so enjoyable. Shower is huge. Loft Bed area is a loft, so bending over only, but so comfortable and loads of fun. Kids had an amazing time and so did we!! Hosts are incredibly friendly and helpful, we can't wait to stay again! We drove, and it was very easy and convenient. We were so happy to stay here rather than in the town centre.

• Axel (10/5): Emplacement parfait, logement premium et hôte très accueillant ! - Vraiment le top. Un logement incroyable, situé juste à côté de l'aeroport et du centre de Rovaniemi, idéal pour visiter, se déplacer ou aller faire quelques courses. Le Jacuzzi est aussi un vrai plus !
• Claire (10/5): A Superb Winter break at Villa Mommo 👌 - This was our first time to Rovaniemi and we had an absolutey fabulous time at Villa Mommo. We will not hesitate to recommend it to our family and friends. Andy met us on arrival and showed us around the villa. We loved the location and our children had great fun playing in the snow and sledging down the hill outside. We also spent evenings enjoying the hot tub and sauna after days at SCV and Lapland Winter Park. The views from the home were spectacular. Every detail was thought off and it was very evident that there was great care and attention to the home. We will be back 💕 thank you to Tanja and Andy for everything.

• Amy (10/5): Incredible home in the middle of everywhere. Was a pleasure to stay there. - It felt like a home away from home. Every little detail had already been thought of. Greeted by Antti who shown us around the property. He was lovely and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The hot tub was a welcome place to relax after a cold day exploring. And the views were incredible. Can’t wait to stay there again.
• Dale (10/5): The most magical villa that we hope to revisit one day. - So close to the airport, beautiful and modern villa. Our host was so lovely and helpful and made us feel very welcome. Having use of the hot tub and garden area with the sledges provided was the best experience and certainly added to our visit. Absolutely nothing negative to say about property.
• Varvara (10/5): Gemütliche Villa mit Sauna, Hot Tub, Kaminofen, und Nordlichtern – traumhaft. - Wunderbarer Aufenthalt in einer gemütlichen, warmen Villa mit Kaminofen, Sauna und Hot Tub. Besonders schön! Wir haben sogar kleine Mützen als Geschenk bekommen! Die Nordlichter waren direkt von der Villa aus sichtbar, und dank guter Uber-Anbindung kamen wir leicht zum Flughafen und zum Santa Claus Village. Absolut empfehlenswert!

Although slightly out of the town, it is worthwhile for the views, access to nature and we saw clear views of the northern lights on multiple occasions.

• Vanessa (10/5): Cosy and relaxing stay for a family of three - Hot Tub was excellent - we watched the Aurora Borealis from it on one evening. The location was a short taxi journey to Santa Claus Village or Rovaniemi City so it was very convenient for us. The cabin was lovely and warm and cosy even when the temperature dropped to -23 degrees outside. Timo our host was incredibly helpful especially as we lost a day of our trip due to our flight being redirected to Helsinki because of a snow storm. This venue was safe and in a peaceful neighborhood so we had a very relaxing stay. We had a wonderful stay at this venue however there are just a couple of things that could make it even better so here are our suggestions: 1. Robes and disposable slippers for each guest would have been useful due to us being in the hot tub every day. 2. We could not find an iron, but it would have been useful to have one. 3. There is no storage for clothes or suitcases so our three cases and snow gear took up a lot of space on the floor. 3. The ceiling is so low upstairs that it wouldn't be recommended for anyone with mobility issues, we were all very mobile but had to crawl along the floor to get from the stairs into the bed! We had our 8 year old son with us and his bed was right next to ours - it would be great to change the living room sofa to a pull-out bed to allow both parties to have more bed space and privacy. But all in all we had a great stay and we would definitely return to the same venue as we enjoyed it so much.

• Karen (10/5): Amazing property - highly recommend! - Wonderful house with an amazing sauna and hot tub. Andy and Tanja were the perfect hosts who looked after us really well! The location was perfect - you are away from the busy city centre but only a 7 min drive away, also very close to the Santa Claus Village and within 10km radius from city so is included in a lot of the tour pick ups. Even saw a tiny bit of northern light from the Patio - was a lovely stay! None
• Ola (10/5): Exceptional stay in Lapland – a true home away from home! - Exceptional stay in Lapland – a true home away from home! We absolutely loved our stay in this beautiful house. The location is perfect — close to the airport and Santa’s Village, with a stunning view of the river. The jacuzzi and sauna were fantastic additions; sitting in the warm jacuzzi while it was –15°C outside is a memory we’ll never forget! The house was spotless and incredibly well thought-through. The hosts provided everything we didn’t even know we needed — slippers, hats for guests, mats for the sauna, a thermos for hot chocolate for the kids, sleds, and so much more. Every detail made our stay feel easy and comfortable. Our children especially adored the upstairs area — they were convinced elves built it, which made everything even more magical. This house was truly one of the highlights of our trip, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone visiting Lapland. Thank you for making our stay so special!

The hot tub and sauna were such a welcome after long days in the cold. We had such a great stay. It was private feeling even though the owner was just next door. We highly recommend Villa Mommo!! It was a perfect stay for us. The owner was so nice too. Maybe a fresh change of towels after a few days. We truly had a wonderful stay
• E (9/5): Shall we move to Finland? :D - Location is superb. Mainly if you don't want to follow mass tourism and stay in a hotel. This "tiny house" makes you think that you really don't need a big house if you have a nice view. It was peaceful there with all the comfort that you need. (Love, love, love the floor heating in the bathroom.) To reach the bedroom loft is a bit tricky, but you only sleep there, so not a problem. Hosts are really friendly and helpful. The weather was not on our side, but we still loved every day there. I would rather give 9.5 points but it is not possible.

• Lucy (10/5): Exceptional - My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights and were absolutely blown away. It was breathtaking! The jacuzzi and sauna topped it all. The view from the jacuzzi looking over the snowy lake and trees was stunning. It was only a 5 minute drive away from Santa Claus Village and 10 minutes from the airport. Very convenient and good value for money. Both hosts were lovely and gave us lots of recommendations. We would highly recommend this! We didn't stay for long enough! We will be back.
• Lynn (10/5): Luxurious! - Review: A Magical Stay at Villa Mommo Our stay at Villa Mommo in Rovaniemi was nothing short of magical, especially for a young couple. The bedroom ceiling is a bit low, and there isn’t much space for clothes storage, but that didn’t bother us at all. A standout feature was having two showers side by side—such a great touch! No more cold, awkward moments. While there’s no gas stove or oven, the electric fire worked fine—though a larger one might be useful for those who love to cook at home. Still, the real luxury came from the jacuzzi and sauna, adding a spa-like feel to our stay. And the view? Simply breathtaking—truly a highlight of the experience. On our first night, we were greeted by the cutest little dog, which was a lovely surprise since we adore dogs! The owner, Andy, was incredibly thoughtful and cleared the snow around our villa. It’s also worth noting that you don’t need to open the windows to let in fresh air—there were round ventilation circles on the walls that you could easily adjust for airflow. We were also delighted by the small touches that made our stay extra cozy: holders for soft-boiled eggs, slippers for both inside and outside, and even some leftover coffee, herbs, and other basics. The atmosphere was set just perfectly with plenty of tea lights, adding a warm and inviting ambiance. Plus, the smart TV with Netflix was a nice bonus for relaxing evenings. A couple of suggestions: more towels would be appreciated, bur I’m sure we just could’ve asked to receive more and don’t forget to bring your swimwear for the jacuzzi! A larger sink in the bathroom/space for makeup would be great, but overall, this place was perfect for a peaceful and unforgettable stay. Andy was a super helpful and relaxed host, told us Aurora was visible through the year from the back window and he was right, it was there in the morning too! We didn't get to stay longer!

• Sarah (9/5): Perfect place to relax and the owners were really nice. - The property is really cozy and really adds to the feeling of being in a Winter wonderland. All three of us were quite sad that we didn’t book it for a longer time and should we ever go back to Rovaniemi, we are definitely booking again. The only thing were the bus connections that weren’t that great but obviously that has nothing to do with the property itself and a Taxi was always very easy to find.
