- Terry Graham (10/5): - Eddie the owner was so good to us. I'm 67 now and sometimes it's hard to lift bags. Eddie was there helping me from the car to the room and back again when we where checking out. Breakfast is brilliant. Nothing to complain about

- Elinza (8/5): Excellent location, great staff, friendly and clean. You will feel safe and comfortable here! - We needed a base in Johannesburg to visit friends and family while visiting South Africa that could accommodate our family and be in a central location which felt safe. Buano Notte met all of these requirements and we stayed with them twice during our visit. Our first unit was a family room (no.1) - incredible bed and they brought in an extra single bed for our 7 year old. The kitchen was fine and we could sort out our own meals. On our second stay we got the apartment (no.4) and we had alot more space with a nice living room and table for remote working. Smaller kitchen but also very workable. The staff were incredibly friendly and accommodating - we arrived after midnight on the first day and they went out of their way to help us check in, and someone came to clean our room every day (which was a big surprise). We had parking within the grounds, and felt safe in our little cottage. With any place in Joburg these days, there are issues - electricity and water are common problems for the whole city, so we were very aware that there would be potential issues. The first unit had some issues with the older bathroom and the toilet flushing - the handle needed to be pulled up after, and the heater on the shower had to properly warm up before you could have a shower (in the bath). The second unit had a newer bathroom with a shower cabinet, but the water was also hot and cold. We had ants come in after we left food out, and the management came to spray for them the next day. We opted to have breakfast one day on the premises, and it was fine, cereals and some eggs, but nothing spectacular. You can walk 5 min up the road and find a litte center where there is a Vita coffee for your coffee and breakfast needs.
- Grant (6/5): Please csend me my invoice to grant@speedfitafrica.co.za - Didn't get to have it as I didnt notice it being optional. Was annoyed because I specifically searched for a B&B so I didnt see the need to search if breakfast was optional 1. The kettle had to be placed on the floor to boil it, as the power cord wasnt long enough to reach the plug. 2. The shower water drain is partly blocked so there was a pool of water I was standing in whilst showering. 3. On leaving at 07h30 on the Friday, I couldnt find anyone to hand my keys into. I had no option therefore when letting myself out the gate, to leave the room keys and remote on the rock wall inside the property next to the gate, in order to open the gate. There wasnt a contact number for me to contact later in the day, to inform anyone where the keys and remote was.
- Ike Gh (4/5): Very Disappointing - The interior of the room was not bad but certainly needs improvement. The environment is not noisy and that is good if you are staying there for work. The lady staff are very nice and communicate quite well about prevailing issues. Right from the start I didn't like the welcome. It was so poor I was wondering if I had arrived at the facility I had booked to stay in for three (3) nights! I even had to ask the gentle at the entrance if that was Buona Notte. He offered a reason, but it was the poorest of reasons why you would welcome your new guests so poorly.
There is a "nice" swimming pool in the compound, but it was so dirty and unkempt that it has rather become a nuisance.
The WORST of all the issues was the electricity (power) situation. OMG! The power kept going off every 15 minuets and sometimes throughout the whole night. And anytime the power went off, the internet (Wi-Fi) also, of course, wouldn't work and the whole place became uncomfortable to stay in.
When I asked why, I was told that the problem has been there for some time, but their electricians have not been able to identify the issue. But why doesn't the facility have (or acquire) a standby generator? Until that is done, I wouldn't recommend the facility to anyone.
- Dumisani (6/5): - Rooms got enough space Nothing
- Helen (8/5): - Beautiful, large room, huge comfortable bed. Room kept very clean, towels and bath mats changed very regularly. In a great area, safe to walk to shops, restaurants during the day which are a 7 minute walk away. Staff very friendly and helpful. Lovely garden and pool.
