Entonces de consejo leer el total de lo que van a pagar y no solo lo que indica al momento de aceptar, dan azúcar café, aceite de cocina, filtros una pequeña plantilla electrica microondas. Adicional la ducha del baño Que el mueble de cocina estaba todo caído por partes, qué estaba un poco incómodo para lavar platos, los paños estaban percudidos, y que las sábanas de la cama parecía que no la habían cambiado, adicional que el colchón se hundia en el centro entonces uno se levantaba con dolor de espalda, pero a pesar de todo si volvería es muy lindo el lugar y la atención de la miselanea muy gentil

Le foto online sono chiaramente vecchie e non rappresentano lo stato attuale della struttura, che appare trascurata. La cosa più grave è stata l'igiene: la sera, mettendomi a letto, mi sono accorta che il materasso e i cuscini puzzavano tremendamente di sudore. Quando l'ho segnalato, la soluzione proposta è stata di andare io stessa a prendere i cuscini da un'altra camera. Un'esperienza inaccettabile. Nonostante la gentilezza dello staff, non ci tornerei.

- Mona (1/5): Not worth the money!! Mold, old, dirty, very noisy - Wouldn’t recommend. The container was moldy, dirty and very old. Kitchen was poorly equipped. They are currently hosting some workers in the containers instead of tourists. Those workers start making a lot of noice at 5:30am. When we asked them to not sit by the pool and talk loudly or listen to music and TikTok’s on full volume at 6am at the pool because it’s waking everyone up the called us (hijo de p*ta). So when you asked for silence you are being called very bad words. Told the management about it that didn’t care. Also when you pay in local currency they make up an exchange rate which is not the accurate one so you end up paying more. Plus those containers get extremely hot without AC you die

Die Container sind rostig, alles ist heruntergekommen und alt oder kaputt. Die Zimmer stinken, die Klimaanlage funktioniert so halb. Die Möbel sind teilweise kaputt, die Matratze so eingelegen, dass man in die Mitte rollt. Sehr hellhörig, die Straße laut so dass man nicht schlafen kann. Zuletzt wurde außerdem mehr verrechnet als bei booking.com angegeben - auf uns wurden die Kommissionsgebühr illegalerweise verrechnet (Booking sieht sich den Fall gerade an). Leider sehr enttäuschend und nicht empfehlenswert!

There’s no couch obviously and it’s right next to the road. I thought it was fine. Considering that they only carry about what’s happening on this property, there were no negative surprises.

In the evening there were so many flies inside of the room even room was closed all day. Bed sheet and towels were clean but whole place felt dirty because all insects.

- Terrence (9/5): Nice little mini apartment in town - Cute little room, conveniently located in town. There’s a little pool, AC, TV, and kitchenette. It’s close to the whale tail beach. As advertised, it is a small space.

There is a small pool with nice temperature water. The place is not very clean. Its dusty, hairs from others. Sliding door not working. The welcoming of the host consists of a bunch of house rules and excuses why the place is not clean. No information about Uvita or recommendations. Location is pretty far from the beach. It's best if you drive there by car. Beds are not comfortable. You can feel the springs.

We stayed for 5 days and no housekeeping, but fine. When we arrived the room was smelly so we had leave for a few hours open. And the signal to pay with card was awful, so it's necessary to pay in cash.

We loved staying here and have never stayed in a 40 foot shipping container before, let alone a series of them made into a hotel complete with pool and deck! The apartment was so well done and cute. It had all the amenities we needed and was designed very nicely. Shower pressure excellent and good hot water. The little hotplate worked well and we appreciated the provision of pots, crockery, cutlery, and chopping board. We also liked that salt, pepper and cooking oil were also provided. And of course coffee and a small coffee maker. The pool was great!! And we also liked the little seating area upstairs. Alina is so nice, friendly, and helpful!! We loved our stay and the price point is very very good for what you get. I would recommend container living for anyone!!! There was nothing we didn’t like, everything was perfect!

Emi's Rocks. - I've needed to leave comments about my stay at Emi's Place for some time, so this is getting in a bit late - sorry about that. My stay was just a day shy of two weeks in September of 2024. The accommodations were on the money for me and my needs. I'm a solo traveler and needed first, clean facilities - check. I've lived in Costa Rica for 10 years and usually you will find most places you stay, eat or drink at - first rate when it comes to being exceptionally sanitary. I have to admit, I'm still in awe of the cleaning protocols in Costa Rica. Wherever you go, there is someone cleaning. I like that. Anyway, I'm a former Road Warrior that traveled no less that 200 nights a year for around 20+ years, know the ups and downs of the good, the better, the best and ugly of lodging accommodations in the states mostly, so yes, Emi's has this covered quite well. OK, here was something that blew me away and was a spectacular unknown bonus during my stay.....Unreal water pressure and endless on demand hot water delivered by multiple robust systems on the property. After long days of trekking to the beach and about town - well that was really appreciated. The onsite management made me feel welcome and assisted with a few requests at the highest levels during my stay . Exceptional "Customer Service" is never created equal, and Emi's will have your best lodging interest, needs and safety at the top of their client services. I will always stay at Emi's when I visit Uvita, as the repurposed "Container Lodging" establishment included an exceptionally functional kitchen where I was able to cook and prepare most of my meals, a adequate "new" fridge that keep food items and a few cervezas nice and cold for perfect consumption. The bed mattress was extremely comfortable, clean linens, comfy pillows, a nice (very clean and serviced) swimming pool in the courtyard and kick ass, off the chain WIFI. You will love Emi's. I had no problems at Emi's and it fit my needs with a laser beamed focus. On da money. Loved Emi's.
- Eva (6/5): Pleasant - We probably didn't have a luck of the room as the kitchen was full of ants. Morning there was watercut till 2 pm so we couldn't shower or splash The toilet. The girl from reception gave us some water on the bottle and apologize however they know about the problem of water cut that is happening often and also about the ants. So first renting the place I would solve the issues and have some cleaning and water tank sufficient for all rooms. The place is container close to the street and as the walls are not isolated you hear everything car passing or people only talking out.the Plece was as it is on the photos new furniture kitchen parking outside.

The property is a little run down and the cleaning wasn’t great. However, for this price it’s great deal and you also shouldn’t expect too much. It’s a great budget option!

- David (10/5): Exceptional - Everything was perfect. The concept is very original and sustainable. The rooms are repurposed shipping containers. They are all similar, with a double bed and another one above, like a bunk bed, plus a kitchen and bathroom. Everything is very clean and comfortable. The hosts are friendly, offering advice and helping to organize tours. The price is very reasonable, and it's just a 5-minute walk from a couple of restaurants and a supermarket. It's a great place to stay if you want to explore Uvita and the surrounding area. Res, tot ha anat bé

- Frank (9/5): Superb - It was a very good price for our stay. The beds were comfortable. The A/C worked well. The space was small but had everything you need in it. The front door is sliding glass and people can see in through the curtain at night. It was a small space but good for the price.
