• christelle (8/5): Appartement lumineux à proximité de tous les centres d intérêts - L appartement est super bien situé, à 10 -15 à pied de la gare,il est dans un quartier calme ,le long des canaux,alors qu il est à 2 pas d un quartier très animé. Tout peut se faire à pied. Il est très lumineux avec une petite terrasse très agréable et très propre.On reconnaît bien l'immeuble rouge dès notre arrivée. Le checking s est bien passé (boîte à clés à l exterieur) Il y avait des dosettes de café,du thé et tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. Il est au 3eme étage sans ascenseur avec un escalier très pentu. On entend les cloches d une église qui sonnent même la nuit. Il manque des volets dans le salon. Il est parfait pour un couple par contre moins pratique pour 2 amis,la salle de bain étant dans la chambre

• Bonita (4/5): Cosy apartment if you don’t mind climbing a million stairs. - Lovely cosy bedroom. Good facilities. Nice bathroom. Comfy bed. The stairs and the rules. The stairs are incredibly steep and go on forever. If you are not a fit person do not stay here. I actually fell on the stairs due to people leaving cardboard outside their doors, I damaged my ankle so only stayed here 1 night out of the 4 I booked. Rules include making no noise anywhere which is impossible on the stairs and even though there’s a balcony you are not allowed to use it or smoke on it.

• KATERINE (7/5): - The apartment is very functionnal. It has a nice aspect and seemed to be recently renovated. It is located in a quiet area with grocery stores and restaurants nearby. Nice apartment for a couple but it is less convenient if you plan on using the sofa bed - there are no curtains in the living room, which can be uncomfortable with the morning light. According to the apartement’s rules left in the appartement, the terrasse is off limits unless you take arrangement with the owner. Do not book during heatwaves, the apartment does not have air conditioning or a fan. The apartment is located on the 3rd floor and it gets very hot. We had a problem with the front door of the building. Surprisingly, since the beginning of our stay the handle was falling down. On our third day, it was simply impossible to get out of the building. There could have been safety issues since it was the only door for us to get out of the building. We called the person in charge and they fixed the problem within an hour. Our check-in was delayed by one hour which made us change our plans (even though they offered us to let our suitcase in the apartment in the meantime).
• Billie (2/5): Completely horrible - Not much. Don’t go. There was no lift. I expressed concern about the number of stairs because of my husband’s age and health, but I was not offered an opportunity to cancel without charge. We suffered the 57-step walk-up, carrying heavy luggage for our 6-week trip. My husband experienced a broken blood vessel in his eye from the strain. Not dangerous, but really disfiguring. No real views, except a bird’s eye from the bedroom. Horrible lighting, with few lamps. No real kitchen. The “cooktop” was a hot plate stored under the cabinet. Furnishings were cheap and drab. And the cost for all this was laughably expensive.

• Lucia (10/5): A great return to Amsterdam in a fantastic apartment - The property was very spacious . It had just been renovated. It had high beams , lots of light coming in . The lounge/dining/ kitchen had ample space . The bed was so comfortable that we slept really well the whole stay . In the cupboards outside the bedroom there were a xtra pillows which was good for me as I need to sleep elevated . The area is very close to the main part of Amsterdam but also nice and quiet for the evenings . The room is at the top floor. The hosts are very very accommodating and kept in contact with me . We had a very early flight and they allowed us to drop off our bags and leave them when we left as our flight was late . Nothing was too much for them . They were fantastic hosts . You really won’t be disappointed staying at this accommodation, we will definitely recommend this place to friends . There was nothing . We were very happy .

• HIDEKI (8/5): 素晴らしい - ロケーション、室内洗濯機乾燥機、環境(静かな小鳥のさえずりが聞こえ、寝室からの運河の景色が素晴らしい、屋根が高くて広々としている)、清潔、お得感あり。旅慣れた人にとってはピッタリだと思う。 歴史ある施設のリノベーションなので、エレベーターがない。従って荷物を持ってあがる必要がある。管理人が常駐はしていないので、夜間に入る時は事前案内があっても難しい部分があった。当初はWifiトラブルがあったが、すみやかに対応してもらった
• Paul (10/5): - Beautiful clean modern renovation. Very well stocked with everything we needed for our week long stay. Communication and response with the hosts was outstanding. Located in a quiet charming neighborhood with a beautiful view from the bedroom window of the canal and the church. As the hosts point out in the description the apartment is on the top floor up a steep and narrow set of stairs (57 steps!). Not something that can or should be improved just something to be aware of. We just regarded it as part of the intrinsic charm and the price to be paid for the view.

• Ruth (7/5): - Lovely beautiful apartment, modern and clean with a very comfy bed. Close to everything but far enough away to be quiet. We were not allowed to use the balcony, due to concerns about disturbing the neighbours. This was not stated in the description and was one of the main reasons we booked this place so check this before you stay if you want to sit outside. No WiFi and therefore the TV did not work either which was incredibly disappointing considering the price we paid. We were told it wasn't working for a few days (but also that it had been fixed recently. It was very confusing as I think I was talking to 2 different people on the messages). If it was broken I would expect to be told on arrival if that was the case but we were not told anything. We saw someone in the hallway who asked about the WiFi and offered to look in the morning but we were checking out the next day so was too late. We only stayed 2 nights so gave up as I didn't want to spend my holiday sorting out WiFi. I would suggest better communication around fixing issues to improve this place as it was otherwise lovely.

Canal view from the bedroom window was nice but living area looks into neighbouring apartments and could have done with a curtain. There are many steps to get to the apartment.
