Guest Reviews
- DAVID (9/5): Welcome the Scottish! 😁 - David and Rachel were fantastic hosts and were always around to help understand what we could do in the area and how to best get use out of the facilities. The house was very clean and tidy and the e highlights were certainly the two fantastic hosts. Really everything was fantastic. Presentation of the entrance in front of the house could be better and perhaps a stereo but otherwise the place was great

- Philip (10/5): An excellent farm stay! 100pc recommended. Amazing hosts. Super restful location. - We loved our stay on this small farm! The super kind hosts frequently went above and beyond to ensure we had a fantastic stay. Our children loved their time each morning and evening with the goats, chicken and alpaca. The adults really enjoyed the fire pit and the star gazing. Everyone loved the ice cream making. The walk to see the glow works is really recommended.
- Natasja (10/5): Fantastisch! Absolute aanrader. Niks
- Jessica (10/5): An exceptional experience! - An incredible gem in the Blue Mountains! Dave and Rach are probably the best hosts I have ever encountered. Truly warm, kind and generous, they spare no effort to make you feel welcome and cared for. Fresh farm eggs, home baked bread on arrival, and a host of provisions to make you feel right at home. Dave went above and beyond to show us around the farm, introduce us to the animals, and even took us out to see the glow worms in the evening. The farm itself is stunning and very well located for exploring the mountains. We feel like we arrived as guests and left as friends.
- Hannah (10/5): Excellent hosts, beautiful setting, would highly recommend - Beautiful spot, really lovely farm stay, everything you need to be comfortable. Morning visits from the king parrots!
- shoucang (10/5): - Great location, animal encounter, large space, full facility NA
- LeanneOB (9/5): - The hosts were fantastic and welcomed visiting the animals. Nothing

- Yuki (10/5): The best farm stay ever! - We had an amazing stay at their farm. It was a great pleasure to meet Dave and Rach. My kids absolutely enjoyed cuddling goats every morning and bush walking at night to see glow-worms. We would love to go back and meet them again.
- Carolynne (10/5): - Everything was thought of. Hosts love showing guests around and sharing insights into their urban farm. The animals were adorable. Not a thing.
- Jenny (10/5): Fantastisch - Alles Niets.. alles was perfect
- Natalie (10/5): Amazing Farmstay - we LOVED it! - We had a fantastic time at Rachel's Farmstay.!.! Rachel was so warm and welcoming, showing us all the animals and we even had a go and milking the goats which was great! The place is perfectly equipped with absolutely everything you need. There were even Easter eggs and a home baked bread + butter there, waiting for us on arrival! We appreciated the breakfast cereal, milk, spreads and condiments that were provided. It made our stay extremely easy and enjoyable. Lot's of great hikes nearby. You're only a hop, skip and a jump out of Leura/Katoomba. I can't fault the place. Hopefully we will return one day. thanks so much for having us! PS: The kids loved the craft box, the funky lights and the gaming set. :)
- Ellen (10/5): Exceptional - The house was very cute and cosy, and we loved meeting the goats! Rach gave us such a lovely welcome, she even left us fresh bread and eggs 😊
- Tsutsuji (10/5): We loved the farm stay and kids loved seeing animals! Highly recommended. -

- Kathryn (10/5): Fabulous mini farmstay with amazing host and facilities - Everything was brilliant. Easy location, lovely and quiet, Rach our host was absolutely lovely, so hospitable and really went above and beyond to make our stay amazing. Couldn’t recommend it more to anyone looking for a home away from home, plus gorgeous animals to play with, excellent tips on where to eat and explore, and a fab tour of their little homestead, with goats, Harry the Alpaca, Stella the massive puppy, and the most patient chooks and ducks ever. Kids thought it was incredible and we loved learning about their approach to permaculture.
The house was perfect as a base for families - super comfortable, warm, comfy beds and pillows, great shower, solid wifi and Netflix - and to top it all off, a welcome gift of fresh bread, butter, jam and fresh eggs - which the kids demolished for breakfast! That we’d only booked a night there - could have spent much longer and explored more around the area. Couldn’t fault the property itself.
- Gillard (10/5): Memories made - Loved everything about our farm stay. Dave was a great host and the interactions with the animals were amazing. Accommodation was great and fresh home made bread and butter upon arrival was special. Thanks so much for making our stay memorable No complaints
- Cassie (10/5): Perfect little getaway for our family - From the ease of meeting Dave the host to the yummy warm bread and butter waiting on arrival to the hosts answering all the kids questions and allowing us to interact with the farm animals. Having t
Streaming services already sorted and great dinner recommendation
- Cawbray2486 (9/5): Comfortable beds and a lovely overall experience - It took a much longer than expected time for the hot water to run through the taps, just be patient and it comes.
- Jodie (10/5): A homely stay, friendly and thoughtful hosts, lovely thoughtful touches, including homemade bread, fresh eggs and other - Host Dave and Rach have thought of everything! Pantry and fridge stocked with essentials, breakfast was covered. Lively homely touches. Craft box for kids, board games for families. Only that we didn’t stay for longer 😢
- Kim (9/5): Superb -
- Sarah (10/5): Amazing experience - Dave and Rachel made us feel so welcome and were so enthusiastic about their farm and the surrounding environment. They had thought of all the little extras that made our stay so special (fresh bread, cheese). The animals were gorgeous and our kids loved having the opportunity to milk the goats. A truly magical experience which we would highly recommend. Nothing - everything was exceptional.
- Alicia (10/5): Exceptional - The host was very kind and passionate about hosting and his small farm. The facility was clean, well-equipped, and inspiring. The animals were a delight and cute. We were on the road for 9 days and this was our best accommodation. We loved it!
- Ann (10/5): Excellent experience - Host was very friendly and accommodating. The house was perfectly set up with everything we could need or want during the stay. Meeting the animals and learning more about their plans for the farm was awesome. Host was very knowledgeable about the local area and always available for any questions or requests. Communication was very easy and prompt. House was a tad small for 4 people but fine for a short stay and was great value so can't complain.
- Koshila (9/5): bery comfy and pleasant place - The place was clean and all amenties that need were there. Hosts were very friendly and had a really comfortable stay
- Nicola (9/5): Superb - Excellent, relaxing place to stay. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.
- Belinda (10/5): Took international visitors for their first Blue Mountains experience, and it was the best -
- Benjamin (10/5): Truly exceptional - a memorable visit with the kindest hosts - Everything from the well-stocked kitchen (both food and appliances) to the friendly welcome (it was my birthday and the hosts had put up balloons, streamers and gave me a box of chocolates) make a memorable experience. The beds were comfy, the TV had multiple subscription options (Netflix, Stan, etc) and, most importantly, the hosts were the friendliest hosts we've ever experienced in years of travelling. They are as hands-on or hands-off as you like - which in our case with our young children meant accompanying us on multiple visits down to the farm to pat the goats. They were also amazing with us having our little dog stay with us, even dog-sitting her for the day while we got out and about. All in all, by the end of the short trip it felt like we'd made new friends who we'd pop in just to visit next time we were in the area, regardless whether or not we were staying in this accommodation - which, of course, we would do without hesitation. Thank you for a terrific stay with you in your beautiful accommodation. Absolutely nothing whatsoever.
- Bronwyn (10/5): Loved our stay, will hopefully get to visit again!! - Run by a lovely couple, greeted on our arrival, electric blankets and heaters were on (it was freezing outside!) Recommended a nearby pub for a beautiful meal. Loved the farm!!
- Alison (9/5): Superb -
