On es - Environnement superbe.
- Nicolas (9/5): -
- Seamus (10/5): A quality stay - we will be back. - Location and the look of the hotel. Beautiful. Plenty of garden walks, the town was right there in front of you and the local bars were excellent. The bistro offered excellent food at the hotel. Only the few minutes of rain.

- Jacqueline (7/5): Very impressive building - Beautiful building and comfortable rooms Very limited choices on dinner menu. There isn’t much to do in the village.
- Anass (10/5): -
- Karin (8/5): -
- Shane (6/5): disappointing - Quality establishment We arrived around 17:00hrs and the bar and restaurant were closed and as it was Sunday there was nowhere open in Chateaubourg either. Our only option was an Uber McDonalds delivery, and that cost 40:00 Euros for 2 burgers. Not the hotel's fault but very disappointing. Had we known, we would have booked elsewhere.
- Nigel (8/5): OK but overpriced for a basic hotel room - Good location and parking. Good Bistrot attached. Poor tea making facilities with paper cups. Basic furnishings in room with poor lighting by the small sofa
- Susan (9/5): - The park was lovely. Great to be able to relax outside after a long drive. Dinner was lovely. Good service. Breakfast was also very enjoyable.
- Graeme (9/5): Stay was enhanced by the party in the park on the Sunday evening. Loved it! - The grounds were superb and the art exhibition quite spectacular. The restaurant was closed
- 671300 (10/5): A delight in every respect. - The hotel and it's grounds were marvellous, parkland, lakes and a sculpture park, the town was within easy walking distance through the hotel grounds.
The food in the restaurant was a delight, overall a really great place to stay. Nothing
- Mathevon (9/5): -
- Beate (10/5): Beautiful Property - Location, Park
Calme absolu Rien !!
- Alan (8/5): Good, friendly helpful staff - Very attractive I. Lovely location Only problem was outside walk of about 50 yards, difficult if it was raining
- Graham (7/5): Good - Lovely property . Stayed several times on route to Roscoff Preferred their annexe accommodation as the rooms were bigger .
- Heather (9/5): Great stopover - would recommend - Hotel has great location overlooking park and river with convenient parking. Comfortable rooms with nice views. Pleasant helpful staff. Good bistro on site serving well priced good quality food. Nothing
- Peter (9/5): Superb - Location with surrounding gardens, the old building that houses the hotel, the evening meal overlooking the lake
- Terry (2/5): Overall good - Almost everything Obviously used for corporate interests.Having to exit property to restaurant /breakfast.Not sure if weather inclement.
- Melanie (8/5): Very lovely surroundings in old mill and lovely people and food - Beautiful setting and a happy return after 35 years!! Nothing
- Christine (10/5): Romantic setting and wonderful staff. - The surrounding park was outstanding, staff very helpful and our room spacious. We would return for sure. We ate in restaurant - excellent food and service. We paid a little extra for family room so could spread out and sleep well following overnight ferry! All good.
- Steeven (10/5): Exceptional -
- Anthony (9/5): Superb -
- Neill (9/5): Superb - Nice modern and stylish interior to a characterful building. Room was clean and comfortable. Good location and nice grounds around the hotel. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The restaurant was great too, food was excellent.
- Mary (7/5): Good - Good location and good value
- Sian (7/5): Very pleasant stay with helpful staff. - The setting of the hotel is beautiful. The facility of a kettle or coffee machine would have been great , We had a room with a small terrace, a little table and two outside chairs would have made it perfect. I would not mind paying a little more for the room rate if these facilities were added.
- Regina (3/5): Poor - I was very disappointing by the room with its 80s decor, old carpet and sparse furniture. The hallways spelled strongly of cleaning products, and the little outside space didn't offer any furniture. I left a day early, preferring to waste my money and not my time.
- Gordon (10/5): A pleasant and relaxing location. - The grand old building straddling the mill race was serene and very relaxing. Dinner over looking the water lilies was Monnetesque. Nothing comes to mind.
- Virginijus (9/5): Superb -
- Wallyd (9/5): Superb -
- Steve (8/5): Very good - Very freindly staff. Nice room overlooking park. No aircon and a bit noisy at night with rushing of water through the mill.
- Francis (9/5): Superb -
- Ian (8/5): Beautiful old mill building and wonderfully relaxing ground’s with amazing art works. - Fabulous old mill building, with relaxing running water and amazing art display in the grounds. Dinner in restaurant was good, however on consecutive nights it was almost the same menu.
- Alan (8/5): Very good - Beautiful surroundings. Good food. No opening window in the ground floor room (other than the patio doors).
2 chairs on the terrace would have been nice.
- Barry (10/5): Exceptional -
- Angela (9/5): An ideal stopover with great restaurant - Set in beautiful parkland with arts exhibition throughout the grounds. Quiet. Friendly staff. Very good restaurant. Rooms a little basic in park building and no kettle.
- Dave (10/5): Clean comfortable room in pleasant location. - I didn't have breakfast. Having tea facilities in the room.
- Adi (9/5): Superb -
- Robinson (9/5): Superb -
- Dorota (10/5): Great location for relaxing and enjoying nature - Everything was perfect, location, service, breakfast, cleanliness,
- Ralph (9/5): A little gem - The hotel is in wonderful surroundings. Almost like a park. Many sculptures are present. It was peaceful and tranquil with ample car parking. The room was on the small side but perfectly adequate for a solo traveller.
- Erica (10/5): Exceptional -
- Peter (8/5): Very good -
- Stephen (7/5): It’s alright for a stop over - It’s quiet as it’s set in a country park Room was tired and had that smell of carpet freshener
- Jon (9/5): somewhere with real character…a water mill in a sculpture park - Set in beautiful gardens filled with modern sculptures. Breakfast wasn’t great value with no hot options (other than an egg)
- Charbel (9/5): Superb -
- Colin (8/5): Beautiful grounds ,very relaxing - Unable to take our young dog in the restaurant, asked to leave him in the room ,which wasn’t acceptable,if they had an area off the restaurant which allowed us to have or dog with us that would have been good
- Della (8/5): Very good - The grounds are beautiful, very tranquil. Rooms were basis’ but clean with comfy beds. We have stayed before and great for us for our stop over. Parking on site too was great with lovely breakfast Nothing
- Neil (9/5): Superb - The Location beside the park is very pleasant
- Christopher (1/5): I gave the maximum "very happy" score because our evening meal in the restaurant was excellent. ex - Room 16. A bigger bed would have be nice. Air conditioning is required as the room was very warm.
- Tracy (7/5): Food great. Room clean. - Location was great. Breakfast was good. Restaurant for the evening meal (on site) was exceptional and really made our detour to stay there worthwhile. A kettle in the room. We had a small bottle of water to share in our room. There should have been access to a kettle in the communal area, but as it wasn't fixed, someone moved the kettle for their own use!
- Alena (8/5): great hotel with great breakfasts, beautiful garden, very nice to be there, the staff is very nice, everyone is very fri - excellent location, beautiful garden, quiet, in the city, but like in nature spiders, a lot of spiders, no one worried about them and didn’t really clean them up, they were everywhere, in the Hall, on the stairs, in the room
- Olwyn (7/5): Good -
- Anonymous (10/5): come back again! - smile of staff!
clean room!
everything good food! nnothing!
- Sara (8/5): Very good -
- Bentleymad (7/5): Coffee making facilities needed in your rooms - Pleasant Room in the grounds of the Hotel No coffee making facilities in the room. If you wanted to make a coffee it could be done outside the room hallway, which is not ideal.
- Alan (9/5): Beautiful hotel, lovely town. Very relaxing location and would happily stay again. - The room was perfect. I believe it’s the suite at the hotel, view of both sides of the town / park. The breakfast was nice, great selection and the waiter looking after the breakfast area was very attentive. The dining option was tricky. We arrived at 4pm and wanted to (ideally) relax, eat in the hotel later, and go to bed, but the menu for the restaurant was very adult focused and there didn’t seem to be a reasonable children’s menu. Steak frities, omelette, chicken or pork sausages. Just something easy and straight forward. If there was that option, we would have dined in the hotel, unfortunately we had to go elsewhere to find something tourist friendly.
- Andy (4/5): Disappointing - Nothing Very dark room looked like a cell and broken vent in bathroom
Staff in restaurant didn't seem to know what they were doing and food disappointing
- Anthony (9/5): Superb -
- Jan (9/5): Second stay here and is a very relaxing place to be, a real gem of a find - Lovely location and parkland
- Robert (4/5): Disappointing - Lovely location We were advised the Restaurant was close. Only offered a cold tray. Other guests were not even offered that option.
I had contacted the hotel via Hotels.com to ask for other restaurants in the area - I had a response on the morning after our stay !
- James (8/5): Very good -
- Kerekes-nagy (10/5): Romantic park, excellent breakfast. - A comfortable hotel room with a small terrace in a beautiful park. A very delicious breakfast in the old water mill.
- Roger (7/5): Enjoyable stopover but not somewhere for staying longer. - Great gardens and the restaurant was lovely. Our room was far too small and the beds are too close together
- Susan (8/5): wonderful location and good breakfast - wonderful location. we were in a separate building on the park the accommodation in the park was we imagine built in the 60’s or 70’s and was a little dated. it also smelt rather damp. having said that our room on the ground floor opened up onto a tiny terrace in the middle of a mature park. we even saw a couple of otters and the bird song was wonderful. we were lucky enough to have dry weather.
- Robin (9/5): Good experience. Would recommend this hotel to others. - The hotel is in a beautiful, park-like setting. The hotel restaurant was very good. The staff was friendly and cooperative (including finding us a fan since the room was warm). Room was a bit small.
- Richard (10/5): Tranquille. - Situated in a ‘Jardin des Arts’ with interesting statues and installations.
Breakfast buffet was excellent. All was good.
- Neil (8/5): A very pleasant experience - Everything we wanted was available. The room was excellent nd the catering facilities and staff were very good. We would recommend Ar Moulin to anybody travelling from Roscoff to central France as a staging post. We had no complaints whatsoever
- Madeline (10/5): Fabulous room, delicious meals and interesting building set in extensive parkland - Very characterful mill house in a lovely small town east of Rennes. Our room was number 7 and we absolutely loved it, double doors out to a small balcony overlooking the mill pond, a bit of road noise, but worth it for the view. Room was very comfortable, had everything we needed including a kettle and best of all a very comfy bed. The staff were lovely, very kind and helpful. The main restaurant was closed, so we ate our evening meal in the bistrot overlooking the park and water, it was mostly a fish menu, absolutely delicious and very good value. Breakfast was also in the bistrot, very good choice and lovely rustic brown bread on offer as well. Walking around the large park was fabulous, lots of interesting artwork and installations, a great thing to do after a long hot journey. We loved our stay there, would definitely like to go back. Nothing! It was perfect!!
- Peter (3/5): Felt cheated by booking.com - Booking.com description was misleading. We booked ArMiln but ended up at a different hotel.
- David (8/5): Very good - Breakfast was expensive but good although we had to wait for fresh croissants. Eggs can be cooked to your liking.
Dinner was high quality and service was excellent. Towels were small and thin, shower was not the best
- Stefano (8/5): Very good -
- Chris (10/5): Exceptional - Wonderful location. Very friendly staff. We’ll come back😀
