• Neda (5/5): - The apartment is located in a beautiful location, only 15 minutes' walk from the center. Shops, cafes and fast food restaurants are nearby. Unfortunately, the apartment is dirty and full of dust. It is not unusual to come across a cockroaches and spiders. There is also a strong smell from the bathroom, which the owners mask with wide open windows when you enter the apartment. The iron for laundry is non-functional because it leaks water (the cover is broken). The bathroom needs a thorough cleaning, as does the kitchen. If you are allergic to dust, I do not recommend it. P.S. When we booked, the rating was 8.6, now it seems a little more realistic.

• Denitsa (5/5): Not great, not terrible - The place has all that you'd need - big bedrooms, a place to eat, a fully equipped kitchen, and AC. It will do the job. The host was easy to communicate with, was waiting for me to give me the keys, and let me stay a couple of hours more during the checkout. Also provided a second pair of keys when I asked for them. This was one of the very few places I found with 2 separate bedrooms and no one sleeping in the kitchen or by the front door. The area around is busy with a lot of bars, places to eat, and supermarkets, even though it's outside of the city center. It is a nice 20 min walk to the center or to the beach. We didn't use it, but I saw there was coffee and tea left for the visitors, which was very nice. Still, the place is very basic. It doesn't feel cozy. The beds are uncomfortable, the bathroom needs renovation and deep cleaning, and there are bugs in the bathroom as well. The common room felt kind of unpleasant, same for the 2 patios. We were avoiding staying at the apartment. The apartment is on the first floor, and the windows of the bedrooms face the street. There are no good windows, and you can hear everything from the street, even if you try to close them. Garbage collection, street washing, bar closing, and random citizens speaking - you'll hear everything at any time of the day. If you're a light sleeper, you won't make it here.
• Ayesha (3/5): Bland - It was clean and had all the facilities that were mentioned online It was very very very noisy all times of day. The pillows were the most uncomfortable pillows I’ve ever had and they only gave us one key even though we were two adult friends and meant we couldn’t do our own thing - when you have advertised two rooms give us two keys.

• Karen (9/5): We would defenitaly stay there again! - This is actually the second time we stayed at El Nido. The host met us at the flat. Communication prior to arrival was perfect. :) Terry is very nice and friendly, he gives you lot of tips where to go and how to get about. The flat is a little dark but that is absolutely fine for a summer holiday as you do not want the sun warming the place up more and you are not planning to stay indoors. Everything we needed was there- coffee machine, washing up liquid etc. The location of the flat is perfect. 1 minute away to the nearest bus stop which serves 2 bus lines- one takes you close to the beach and city center, the other to the train and bus station. Great community with a market on certain days, shops and great cafes and restaurants where the locals go. We absolutely like the place but there are a few little things that could be considered to improve a little. Overall the place was very clean- there was a little dust here and there like on the skirting boards. A coffee table in the lounge would be nice. So, you see, this is not complaining but mentioning a few little things.

• Frank (10/5): Good flat in a good location at a reasonable price. - The apartment was in the perfect location for the two of us. We prefer to be away from the touristy places so we can sample the local culture. The apartment had all the facilities you could ask for, absolutely spot on. 10 minute bus ride from the beach on the No10 bus. A market and supermarket were a short walk away. The host, Terry, was very friendly and welcoming. he also allowed us to stay an extra night when Easyjet cancelled our flight home. You couldn't ask for more. Highly recommended, we will be staying there when we next visit Alicante. Nothing to complain about.

Very close to supermarkets and shops too, nice outdoor space A little noisy at night from outside and front door closing but otherwise it’s a wonderful place to stay,
• Jerry (10/5): Exceptional - The apartment is very spacious and well divided, very comfortable and equipped with all necessities , with 2 amazing patios (terrace) excellent location not far from the beach and close to various good restaurants and shopping areas. If you rent a car is not easy find parking space.
