• Martina (10/5): Good stay for larger groups/ families. Fully-equipped facilities and good amenities for a short or extended stay clo - Clean, nicely renovated and furnished. Good attention to detail. I loved the spacious, sunny backyard. My only feedback is replace the dead batteries in the remotes, and replace the mouldy dish sponge.

• Kim (10/5): Cosy winter getaway in Castlemaine - The house was absolutely immaculate and had all the little creature comforts you might need for a trip away. Beautiful furnishings, comfortable beds, thoughtful touches(blankets, handwash, heaters in the far bedrooms) in every space.

• Raffaela (10/5): Gorgeous Getaway At Owl & Oak - "Owl & Oak" Walked into a lovely warm home, fireplace on, lights on so welcoming beautiful surroundings. Beautiful house laid out perfectly with 3 nice comfortable bedrooms a beautiful kitchen with everything you need. A comfortable lounge area infront of a gas fireplace. The garden beautifully landscaped front and back with a BBQ and relaxing area. Nice big gates to secure your car under the carport. Everything you need is in this beautiful home. Will keep this beautiful house in mind for future getaways in Castlemaine. Just the shower in the bathroom water was going towards the door as the shower screen isn't wide enough. Also had no where to rest the hairdryer or hair straightner in the bathroom. Other than that the house is beautiful to stay for a night or a weekend getaway.

• Jane (10/5): Chill and comfortable vibes - Comfortable rooms, deep soak bath, quiet neighbourhood, well supplied with all amenities (soaps, towels, kitchenware, pots, equipment/appliances and consumables) as well as enough throw pillows/cushions and blankets to build a fort. Only being able to stay 2 nights we needed more.

• Karen (10/5): Wonderful place to stay - 100% rate this accommodation. By far the best I've ever stayed at in regards to comfort and having thought of everything. Plus the host is accommodating and has great communication. What a fantastic stay we had. Honestly nothing.

The bed in the main bedroom was very firm and the blinds in all bedrooms were about 20cm short so the light came into all the rooms.

• Elizabeth (10/5): Excellent in all aspects - The cleanliness was at a better standard than any other BnB I've ever stayed at. We loved the BBQ and other outdoor seating. The breakfast and other foods/wine left for us was tasty and thoughtful. The house itself was beautifully renovated, and the ambiance when we entered the premises was first rate - it immediately felt homely and welcoming. The garden, the lounge suite, the decorations were all lovely. We enjoyed the diverse range of birds that visited, and waking up to magpies warbling was a delight. The beds were firm but that was good for this aging persons back! I've been to a lot of BnB's but Owl & Oak was by far the superior property. Thanks so much Kristen for such an enjoyable stay! Absolutely nothing

Beds were super comfy, kitchen had everything we needed to cook dinner and lovely backyard and table was the perfect spot for an afternoon wine! Highl - We walked in and the place was sent with a nice calm and peaceful atmosphere with the pleasant aroma that you would find in a day spa. We were also welcomed with a loaf of fresh bread, juice, milk, and some local tea. As we stayed for 2x nights we also were gifted a bottle of wine. The house was very aesthetic will it’s little details a very cute place to stay. The bathrooms were nice and clean topped up with shampoo conditioner and body wash, and towels. The kitchen was also well stocked with the cooking essentials, including salt and pepper. This property was also close to town, and the local market. This place is a nice and relaxing place perfect for a gals weekend and a family get away.

• Jane (9/5): A delightful recently updated house in a great town. - Great coffee and local tea provided, with fresh milk. Comfortable beds in a beautifully styled house. The location was a few minutes out of the town. We would have appreciated bedside tables on both sides of the bed to place a phone, book or drink.
• Jane (10/5): Easy, relaxing, full of nice extras and soft cozy furnishings, a real treat. Kristen was sup helpful - The supplies and provisions were top-notch. Eco-friendly, and naturally scented products throughout the property. Wine, chocolates, fresh bread, orange juice, plant milk (by request), coffee maker (we only needed to get some local jam/honey and butter for the bread). Soaker bath and bath salts were a hit, I fell asleep in the bath I was so relaxed. I found the bed in the main bedroom was super firm and uncomfortable, the other beds we a bit softer (but unfortunately I had already let the kids pick their rooms and they knew they had the better beds and wouldn't swap with me)

The house was beautifully presented and equipped with absolutely everything we needed. Nothing was forgotten and Kristin even provided some food for breakfast and chocolates for after dinner. We were so disappointed and kicking ourselves we only booked a one night stay. It was superb! There was nothing we didn’t like
