Guest Reviews
- Petri (9/5): Good value for pricing. - Nice accommodation and free parking on site or roadside. Shopping mall near-by and nice location for travellers with car in midst of interstates. Location felt a bit too far from Toronto, mainly due to very slow metro connection to city center. There was track works on route, but still it was annoyingly slow on other legs. Compared to other major cities, the connection was a dissapointment.
WiFi didnt work for us, but we had travel mobile plans, so it didnt bother us.
- Petri (9/5): Good value for the pricing. - Nice accommodation. Free parking at site or roadside. Good instructions and nice family. Location felt a bit too far from Toronto, mainly due to very slow metro connection to city center. There was track works on route, but still it was annoyingly slow on other legs. We shortened our stay in Toronto due to unwillingness to use the metro on our second visit on return trip.

- Jennifer (1/5): Worst night ever! - Can't think of anything! The bathrooms are disgustingly dirty. The bedroom was a box with a bed, between the end of the bed and the wall, there was half a foot maneuverability. The TV sticks out from the wall, so you have to bend forward slightly while doing a crab crawl to get to the other side. The noise overhead went on all night long. Loud, stomping footsteps, baby crying, 2 women arguing around 3 a.m. Weird, loud noises coming from the walls, ceiling and mini bar fridge. No toilet paper in our "designated" bathroom. Freezing temperatures in the room, no way to control heat or A/C, we slept with our winter coats on. The only means of a bed covering was a thin comforter, no top sheet. Very small bed. Would not recommend and will never stay again. Overpriced for what you get!
- Torbjörn (10/5): We were pleasantly surprised and left with a smile on our faces. - We were very happy with this booking, like coming home to your own castle. Very beautiful and comfortable. We were pleasantly surprised and left with a smile on our faces.

- Raimot (10/5): Exceptional -
- Dee (8/5): Was worth it. We rested well and the facilities are exceptional. Very clean and cozy - I love that your place is clean and very welcoming. The only thing I see that could possibly be better is the room temperature. It was a bit cold but everything else is amazing. A little bit cold 😅
- John (1/5): Bad - Room is without a window inside the basement No windows
- Shittu (9/5): Superb - The property is located in decent place no bottle water inside fridge and tea except coffee

- Saulo (5/5): I wouldn't go back - It looks ok and it was close to the address I had to go in North York. There was no obvious parking but I could park easily in front of the hostel. I had to arrive late and there was some trick with the entrance code. I tried countless times, following the instructions, but could not get in. I had no choice but to call the host, who came but looking like irritated, it was kinda rude. I know it was 11pm, but it wasn't my fault that I could not open the door either. I thought the instructions to get in could have been more clear, specially if the lock isn't working so well. The shared bathroom looked clean but there was a terrible smell (I had no idea what was that, as it didn't feel like feces or urine, but it was SO bad) and that made me feel bad before sleep, I couldn't stop thinking about that smell. I also didn't find the pillow so comfortable, but this is a matter of taste.
- Thi (10/5): Exceptional -
- Arash (3/5): Poor - The WC and Kitchen are clean and well-equipped During our stay, all the people on the upper floor jump up and down all around the clock. You will not enjoy the silence just a few hours after midnight. The parking is not specified. If it is not weekend, you can not even park by the street. Will not return.
- Justine (9/5): Superb -
- Akanbi (5/5): Fair - Location is great and central TV, Fridge weren't working. Also the door to my room wasn't lockable from inside
- Eow (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gabriele (7/5): Good, clean but should be more quiet. - Good for people who need quick access to airport. Also clean structure and comfortable beds. Some guests were too noisy. One of them was talking loudly on the phone and I could hear everything.
- Paa_bi's (7/5): It was a good stay - The property was really nice there was a separate door that led to the basement i also liked how big the kitchen was and how the owner made a guide and was still willing to pick and answer any questions i had . it was easy to access and there were a lot of supermarkets around and it was also really close to the bus stop. uhmmm let see the inevitable since it’s a basement the noise from the kids running above us was the only annoying thing because it did be late in the night 😭😂. apart from that every other thing was okay .
- Raveena (9/5): Superb -
- Eok (10/5): Exceptional - Very quiet are and close to nearby shops and anywhere to go. It's just home away from home.
Excellent None
- Silas (8/5): It was nice - The place is clean and quite Arrangements need to be in place for heaters to be available. There should be no assumptions that the weather is hot and guests may not need heating system. Some guests are visiting Canada for the first time from tropical countries and this summer may still be cold for them especially at night.
- Jordan (4/5): Disappointing -
- Adeleke (8/5): Very good -
- Mukwaya (10/5): Exceptional -
- Sarah (7/5): Good if you’re looking for somewhere to stay for a couple of nights that isn’t as costly as downtown Toronto. - Clean, good location out of the city center. You can hear everything that is going on upstairs as the rooms are in the basement - people walking around, kids. Mind you that was during the day/evening and it was quiet at night - the only noise which may bother some people is the furnace (heating/air conditioning) which makes quite a bit of noise when it turns on periodically during the night.
- Isabel (10/5): Exceptional - The place is pretty new, everything is clean and Tidy..
- Ruth (9/5): Superb -
- Rinna (9/5): It's OK. - I reserved the room with private bath but I ended up using the common bath because it is much bigger and beautiful and with amenities. The housekeeper said I can use the common bath room and so I did. The private bathroom is so small with narrow shower room and very small sink. It's OK, though but I prefer to use the bigger one.
- Clement (8/5): Pretty Good , but wish we could have rest a bit longer because of the early noises - Informations were clear , pretty clean We got waken up by kids running on the upperfloor at 7:30AM ..
- Mahima (10/5): Exceptional -
- Shatraw (8/5): Great Value and Location - Close to lots and still had privacy Kids upstairs could be noisy at times
- Fad (8/5): Very good -
- Dennis (9/5): Superb -
- Boltag (9/5): Superb -
- Ma-ai (8/5): Very good - The host is communicative and helpful.
The room was clean and comfortable with a large bed, a mini fridge, a TV with multiple streaming platforms, a charging station and closet.
The private bathroom across the room was pretty small with a fixed shower but I managed.
It’s about a 15 minute walk to shops nearby, and a 10 minute walk to the bus stop to get to the metro station to take you to downtown Toronto. It takes about an hour by public transport to get to downtown, faster by car, but it is cheaper than staying in the city centre, worth the money in my opinion.
The rooms are in the basement so can hear some noise upstairs and harder to control temperature but there is a window and I was not too bothered by it.
The shared space is clean with useful kitchen facilities, and laundry machines.
The secure key coded doors were easy to use and no key or card needed.
- Alona (10/5): Exceptional - Very clean and comfortable!! Perfect and beautiful appointment!!! Grand kitchen with all that needs, parking., supermarket and stores near. All this for very good price.
Owner very nice. Thank you for good hospitality!
- Endurance (9/5): Superb -

- Aeden (1/5): Bad - Did not even go in. Thought it was a private place. House was full of people my girlfriend was not comfortable with that so we left and messaged right away. It was still early… i never got my money back

- Bernard (9/5): very good - my partner has trouble with stairs
- Euichan (10/5): Exceptional -
- Martin (9/5): Very affordable, clean and secure - Excellent facilities for an overnight stay while in Toronto. It seems like a pleasant neighbourhood in the suburbs.
Instructions for accessing our room were very clearly communicated and easy to follow.
Very secure. It is a bit of a drive to get there, which is quite acceptable for what is a very affordable alternative to staying anywhere central.
The A/C was running at a very low temperature and would have liked to raise it three or four degrees but was unable to find a thermostat.
- Galve (8/5): Very good -
- David (9/5): Superb -
- Lemaryn (8/5): Very good -
- Lemaryn (8/5): Little things - Nice new renovation. Quiet. Secure. Easy access to transport and shops. Better bed linens, extra pillows, blankets.
We were a couple, but only one towel was set out. A mirror in the bedroom would be appreciated. Availability of a hairdryer and iron would have been helpful. 'On suite' bathroom tiny, tiny!
No sugar for morning coffee.
Small things would make a huge difference.
- Elisa (9/5): Superb - Everything was really perfect! The bed is really confortable, the kitchen and bathroom are really nice The A/C was a little too strong n the common area but no big deal
- Hakan (9/5): Superb -
- Olasunkanmi (9/5): Superb -
- Sarpong (8/5): Very good -
- Teshome (7/5): Good -
- Stowell (10/5): Nice little room in Toronto - Bed was super comfortable! Place was clean and easy to get to. Price was just right for a single day. Was in a really nice part of the city, very little traffic and not far from the ON 401 exit. Didn't see markings for parking, so I had to park on the street. The bathroom was a bit small, but I can't complain for the price.
