Just no air flow in there and the carpet hasn’t been cleaned in who knows how many years… The mattress in the single beds on the hallway are either too old or too cheap, you can feel the coil springs when you move. There was no internet service. They were not able to repair it in time.

• Gregory (10/5): Exceptional - The easy check-in process and the friendly staff at the counter. She was very helpful. The location was great with restaurants and shopping very nearby. It was quiet with great views of Disney World on one side and the lake on the other. Parking is a problem.

Walls were dirty or marked up. Bed covers were cheap hospital covers. The master bedroom toilet was inoperable when arrived. The owner did have it repaired the next day.

• Nicky (4/5): Cockroach problem. Dirty and Run down. - Great location and a really good view of Lake Bryan. First impression of this ‘beautiful apartment close to Disney’ other than the overwhelming chemical smell that hit us (it actually took our breath away) as we walked in was that it was tired, run down and needed a thorough clean, However after the first 24 hours, we discovered all was not as it should have been. Under the sink was a quarter inch thick layer of baking soda, presumably to prevent bugs, which clearly didn’t work as we witnessed cockroaches going in and out of the oven. That’s when we decided to move out early. The piles of baking soda in the corners of the kitchen and the odour eliminators that were left in the kitchen and bathroom should have raised our suspicions that this place was not habitable. The oven hob still had the previous guests food on. The bed sheets were thread bare and had holes in. The kitchen floor looked dirty so we cleaned a tile with some kitchen roll, it was black. Whilst we were out, someone had come into the apartment, unlocked the maintenance door and left it ajar, which unfortunately allowed us to see how filthy the filter was, and also appeared to take our yogurts from the fridge. I’ve never experienced such a poor vacation stay.
