• Maria (2/5): Disappointing! - Very comfortable bed. Next to SPAR and kids play area/toy store. Honestly I was pretty disappointed overall, having initially been excited for my stay. To get into the apartment you need to carry all of your stuff up 2 flights of stairs to get into the apartment and access the key fob for the elevator. When you leave you need to take it all down the stairs again. The apartment smelled of stale cigarette smoke for 3 days (I had to open all windows/doors and spray it down). The building is brand new, but not completely built so you get construction noise during the day. There are no blackout curtains so the room is bright at night. Every single lamp was burnt out or broken. It’s not a smart TV! It’s an old TV with a smart box that doesn’t work (host told me to buy batteries and lightbulbs, still TV didn’t work the whole week I was there). To take the garbage out you need to go downstairs, around the building, down the street and around the block. The drains in the bathroom were really blocked up. Just trying to wash my hair caused the whole bathroom to flood and go into the hallway! No paper towels, washing powder soap for clothes, sponge for kitchen etc provided. We had multiple power cuts.
