- HMJ (9/5): - Appartement très bien situé, très propre et très bien équipé. Situation parfaite pour visiter Montréal, juste à côté du métro Guy Concordia. Nous étions 4 dans un appartement avec 3 chambres . Les lits sont très confortables. Il est indiqué lits doubles dans les chambres, ceux-ci sont un peu étroits pour un couple (je pense qu'ils faisaient 130 ou 135 cm de largeur maximum). Nous étions 4 et il n'y avait que 3 tabourets pour pouvoir s'assoir et manger tous ensemble autour du bar , et pas d'autre table à part la table basse du salon. Je pense que l'appartement est plutôt conçu pour un séjour à 3 personnes

- Wu (10/5): - Parking downtown can be very challenging, and we were quite worried about not being able to find the spot. However, the host provided extremely detailed instructions, even including a video. They were still concerned we might have trouble and kindly offered to meet us at the parking entrance. Unfortunately, I didn’t check my phone in time, but they still followed up to see if we needed any help. Such a thoughtful and caring host! The accommodation itself was excellent—very clean, tidy, and well-maintained, with all the daily necessities thoughtfully prepared. We had a truly pleasant stay.

- Betty (9/5): Would definitely stay here again. - The hosts were extremely responsive and accommodating to our needs. They even went out of their way to find parking garages for us. The unit was clean and tidy. The kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cooks, including oil, condiments, and even baking essentials. The location was close to downtown and very convenient. It would've been great if there was an elevator in the building. We were in a 4th floor unit so it was quite a trek going up and down every day. Also, the lighting inside the unit and rooms were a bit lacking. No main switches to turn on lights except for the main one at the front door. The lights inside the bedrooms were all small bedside lamps.

We loved all the hooks to put things on...short term rentals rarely have good towel and jacket hooks...the little things! We actually liked that it was out of the popular touristy area(quiet), but that may be negative to some.

- Stephen (1/5): Even though the host got us another place, the new one had roaches in the new suite. We will never go back! - When our workers showed up the place was not cleaned. There was urine in the shower, everything was filthy. The towels were dirty and you could feel the dirt under your feet. We finally got a hold of the host who didn’t seem surprised, he put our workers in another apartment within the building. The original place was filthy and it didn’t seem to bother the host. The new apartment was clean but the next morning our workers found roaches on the counter. Very disappointed.
- Adnan (7/5): Clean, great location, but False pictures & False bathroom description - - Great location (walking distance to casual restaurants, St. Catherine night life, Guy subway station) - Clean apartment - Comfortable beds - Easy to get the key - The pictures shown are of an apartment with large windows, bigger living room, more seating space in the living room, and sunny apartment. What we got was an apartment in the basement with small windows, no sunlight at all and a much smaller living room and seating area. In addition, the property is listed as having 2 bathroom when in fact it had 2 half bathrooms (one with toilet and sink and another with shower and sink). We contacted the property manager and they said that it was a mistake of booking.com and they cannot do anything about it. Note that this is the exact same response they gave another reviewer 2 months on booking,com ago saying that they will fix the listing but obviously they did not. Since they already knew about the serious errors in the property description in the listing, they should have informed us immediately after we made the booking while we were within the cancellation window. - Due to proximity to the nightlife area, your neighbors are likely to be young and noisy into the late hours of the night. This was not an issue for us but could be for families We were 3 male friends and if we had known about those negatives we would probably still have rented the place but if I had been traveling with family then these would have been serious issues.

- Lisette (9/5): Family trip - The apartment was a great choice for our big group. It was clean, well maintained, fully furnished and the staff was responsive. Finding parking space was a concern, though we found a spot closest to the place with the guidance of the staff. A minor delay was experienced during check-in, but overall it was a pleasant experience! Great place for short staycation in Montreal.
- Vishal (1/5): False and misleading property description. Feels like a scam. No help from property manager or booking.com customer serv - Not much. The description in the listing is false and misleading. The listing says there are two bathrooms whereas the apartment has 2 bathroom but 1 bathroom only has shower and the other bathroom only has toilet. So in reality there are two half bathrooms. Also, the apartment is in the basement - there is no sunlight. Even at 12:00pm noon it feels like midnight. Outside the windows you can only see trash and rubbish everywhere. I have uploaded pictures for evidence. The property management does not reply on time and even if they do it’s useless. Booking.com customer service did not help at all. So overall, please avoid this property at all costs.
- Anick (2/5): Do not book here - we paid for our room in full 45 days before arrival. we land in Montreal and head to the apartment. Get there and after contacting the manager, we were told our reservation was cancelled and the could not accommodate us. 6 adults with nowhere to go at 11:00 pm. No reason for cancelling or even notifying us or giving a refund. DO NOT BOOK here they are not to be trusted. Hotels.com did not find us another place until 3:30 am but it only accommodated 4, so I had to book another room elsewhere for the other 2 adults at my own expense. Sure ruined the family holiday being seperated.
- Bhalla (1/5): Dont stay in this place - Nothing great about this place I recently stayed at this apartment, and it was a total letdown. The host was extremely unfriendly and unhelpful. I called around 8 PM to request a hair dryer, and the host promised it would be delivered within 15 minutes. It never arrived, and they stopped answering my calls later that night. The hair dryer finally showed up 40 minutes before my checkout time. I had to go out for dinner and ended up waiting for 3 hours for my hair to dry, which completely ruined my night. Additionally, there was no shampoo, no soap, and no stay services. Overall, the experience was deeply disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.
- Ip (10/5): Great stay in Montreal - Communication with the host was great, we were provided with the key and instructions and everything was great. The apartment is conveniently located close to the center and very accessible to the public transport so easy to move around the city. The air conditioning was also very useful in the hot weather, everything clean and plenty of space for entire family. Parking was relatively close and convenient (for just one night that we needed it). Additional facilities (gym or laundry room) are also a bonus. No complaint

It was a little dirty in places. It was not made clear that the apartment was essentially tailored towards students. The communal area was unfinished. Although response from the host was timely, none of our issues got resolved during our stay and no compensation was offered either.

There was nobody on the building for the check in, and after a 7 hours flight we had to call several times to the property number and wait after for half an hour for someone to bring the key. The person on the phone was very rude. We were 5 people on a 3 bed apartment and they gave us only 1 key fob. The apartment was ok for a short stay, is a bit dark. Not really clean, we found hairs on one of the beds which was very unpleasant. The iron board was there but never found the iron, and either a hair dryer. I wouldn’t stay at this place again.

It was a surprise to see the number of stairs to access the apartment, there was no lift. No washing machine in the property, intact it was communal and always busy. Iron was also missing and had to request. No toiletries in the second wash basin. No AC or fans in bedrooms

- Mohammad (7/5): Great location but need to fine tune customer service for 5 star rating - The location was perfect. We wanted to be close to hustle and bustle of city. The apartment was next to Concordia university so the food scene was more catering towards students which was excellent. The space was good and comfortable. Free laundry and lobby area with table tennis/gym. The apartment was sort of lower/basement level, so quite dark. Air conditioning broke middle of night but next day they did fix the issue. Did not provide coffee or kitchen towel even after messaging to the staff. If renting, parking can be issue and have to figure out - street parking rules for resident/visitors and designated parking spaces.
- Ebrahim (4/5): - This property is not a 4-star hotel by any standard! The check-in process was incredibly confusing, with no one available to assist. I had to contact a representative multiple times to figure out where to go and find the key, which turned out to be on a table in the gym with my name on it. Check-out was equally problematic, as I never received clear instructions on where to leave the key/fob, so I just left it where I found it. The property itself is an old residential building with many units. Although our 3-bedroom unit was clean, it did not feel like a 4-star accommodation. We received only one key/fob for the unit and did not get any additional ones despite asking. While there was a coffee machine and a water boiler, there was no coffee or tea provided, not a big deal, just annoying to find out in the morning. Additionally, there were only two coffee mugs and two water glasses, which is insufficient for a 3-bedroom unit. The location of the property was good, walking distance to many restaurants and attractions. Overall, I do not recommend this property. For the same rate, you can find much better accommodations in Montreal.

- Steven (9/5): An excellent apartment in a very nice neighbourhood. Good value and exceeded expectations. - The apartment was in good shape, clean, comfortable, fairly quiet. The pictures on the website were a good reflection of the apartment in reality. All kitchen appliances worked properly. The two bathrooms were clean and in good shape; the shower worked well with great water pressure and sufficient warm water. The 4 double beds seemed new and were very comfortable. Good bedding and towels. The building and the neighbourhood were fairly quiet; some city/neighbour noise, as is expected in such a building/area, but nothing that disturbed us. Note that there are no elevators in this 4-story building. Note also that street parking in downtown montreal is difficult to find; would recommend using nearby parkades, which can be pricy. We would definitely recommend Chelsea House and would stay there again. There is one air-conditioning unit in the kitchen/living-room part of the apartment, but no air conditioning in the bedrooms. It would have been nice to at least have fans in the bedrooms. We were 7 adults staying in the apartment but there was only 1 key available. We would have preferred to have been given at least 2 keys (we asked but a 2nd key wasn't available).

- Monique (7/5): Good short term stay given location, don’t require car and okay with 4 levels of stairs, no elevator - Location. Well equipped kitchen with coffee maker, blender, toaster oven, microwave. Towels, linnen are provided. That there was really no parking when one of our main concerns were parking since we had a few seniors that needed transportation by car. That we were up 4 flights of steep stairs and given that we had 5 seniors total with knee/back injuries it made the up/down with luggage for 5 nights also a big challenge. No laundry facilities, ants in the living room (looks like an infestation in the building) Suggest you provide basics like salt/pepper/spices/oil
