• Alejandro (1/5): It's an apartment scam! - It's close to the city center. 1. The owner wasn't there for check-in, and the apartment was open and uncleaned. 2. The photos are from another apartment. That's simply why it should be banned from Booking. 3. There's no key for the front door; if it were locked, bad luck! I'd be sleeping on the street even though the owner said everything was in order. 4. And the worst part is that after spending all day in the city, I arrived at the apartment and there was no electricity, and therefore no hot water. The refrigerator wasn't working because of electricity, and the worst part was that the owner knew it because he left a light bulb that would turn on when he entered the bathroom. All this meant I had to find a hotel for the rest of my days in Ghent. I guess with the money he's cheated so many people out of, he could fix up the apartment.
• Jessie (7/5): Not good - The room is big with king size bed which is good .The duvet , cushions and the pillows smells cigarettes and crinkles duvets covers and pillows , smell have not washed as smell cigars. All the wooden displays are dusty and even the window glass. Curtains not properly hanged on the curtain rail. Kitchen is fair size. Electric stove is not working well, one hob is very slow heating , can you imagine boiling a hot water in a pan for 1 hour-old electric stove , needs replacing. When stove and the microwave is on together , the. Electric trips(no electricity) very unsafe. I have experienced twice in the morning and in the afternoon while cooking in the electric hob and using the microwave at the same time. No ceiling lights in the kitchen . All the lights are so dim .kitchen is no ceiling lights, using lampshade, all bulbs needs replacing as need a good lighting. Table cover is filthy.cupboards down below sinks are dirty and the drawers are dirty. Cutlery are incomplete, Ned to complete , no spoon, big small , more pans cooking ware etc. plus no hair dryer, iron it is very important. Towels smells cigarettes too. What I did is washed them by hand and dry it in the radiator, so I have towel to use for my 3daya stay. Main door in the apartment has a damaged , it looks it have been kicked and made it cracked damaged. The worst thing I have experienced is that my second day , there is family who also booked the same place where I am. The caretaker/owner said that the this family will stay in the second room when in fact I have booked the whole apartment. He said to me I only booked for 1 room. If you can see my booking it is a whole an apartment booked for me 1 person and that only me, alone in the apartment. This family complained , they were moved to ground floor after 2-3hour as I knew she made a call to booking.com. I am little annoyed as the caretaker said visitors are not allowed. I made it clear to him before i enter the apartment that i am alone. As above

• Diana (5/5): Ok - It is located at the red light district, but it was safe to walk at night and is near the center. The room was comfy and warm. When we arrived the room wasn’t ready, we had to wait 15 min outside and other 30 min inside for the owner to finish cleaning, but the kitchen and bathroom were not clean. He gave us a different apartment than the one I booked. The owner needs to repair some things at the apartment and improve the cleaning part.
• Mikosz (3/5): Poor - Location and space in the apartment. No password for the front door. No kettle in the kitchen. No bedding! Heating not working properly. Not a single bin in the apartment!
• Kürşad (8/5): Very good - Location, Comfortable, Cheap. The room was not same with photos but better than that. Towels and linens were not clean
• Ahmet (7/5): Good - Very central, it is almost perfect if you are ready to turn a blind eye on the red light district in imminent vicinity. Ok for solo travellers or couples.

• Alma (1/5): Bad - The landlord entered the room, in very bad taste, there is no 100% privacy, I had a bad night, besides there is no name outside the hotel, and the room is not like the photos, do not go there, it is terrible.
• Saif (8/5): Very good - The apartment was pretty good with much space big and beautiful bedroom specially the design was amazing. Hopefully will be again as soon as possible
• Anonymous (3/5): Friendly staff, spacious flat but sense of insecurity - The staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. Spacious apartment at a great central location. The flat and neighbourhood did not feel safe.
• Marcel (9/5): wonderful stay in spacious apartment in red light district - It is a very spacious apartment. Made me think a little of a hippie den. It really is a steal. The location might not be for everyone: I did not know that it is right in the red light district. I walked around at night and was completely comfy. Other than that the location is excellent: there are excellent restaurants and public transportation nearby.

• Margaret (3/5): Poor - The host was very accommodating and allowed me to drop my bags off early which helped let me explore the city. It was in the redlight district, but there was no mention of that in the description. I don't know Ghent and didn't know that would be a possibility or my reality if I stayed in this apartment. It should have been advertised because I was traveling alone and felt uncomfortable in the neighborhood because of it. It is super close to the main area which is nice, but I'd rather be farther out and not in the redlight district. It also had a kitchen but nothing to use to cook or and utensils to eat with. I also was in a room different from what the pictures indicated. It is not the place for a solo-woman to be staying.
• Iunna (3/5): Awful - Nothing The apartment is not the same as in the photo. It is located in the red light district. There was no kettle or saucepan in the kitchen to make tea. When people book apartments with a kitchen, they expect that they will at least be able to get hot water for tea or coffee. The apartment is in terrible condition and requires renovation. Bed linen with a hole and questionable freshness. no wifi. This apartment is not worth the money.
