- Tracey (10/5): Wonderful stay . - Quiet . Clean . Convenient to the town .
- Ryan (7/5): - House we stayed in was comfortable. The double booked us and moved us to a different house that was not in the location or style we were after.
- Zaunders (8/5): -
- Rebecca (9/5): Fantastic place to stay in the Blue Mountains - Lovely heritage home in a beautiful leafy and quiet village. Very close walking distance to the escarpment views and bushwalks. Kitchen was well appointed and lots of board games! Some of the windows were difficult to lift up and then later to close and lock.
- Dianne (10/5): Wonderful house wonderful location great holiday. - Great location, 3 lovely bedrooms, beautiful house, very clean with everything you could need. Nothing wonderful property
- Wendy (9/5): - Véry comfortable and great to be able to walk to Leura shops and directly into NP walks leaving the car at home. I can't think of something to dislike just to fill this box.
- Williams Staker (9/5): We loved it and hope to return. - Location and family feel. We found the driveway hard to get into with a larger car.
- Peter (10/5): We loved everything about Mintie cottage. It was the perfect place to base ourselves. - It was a lovely quiet location with off street parking. We drove in to the centre of Leura as it would have been a longish walk. It was one of the best equipped holiday cottages we've ever stayed in. So comfortable and relaxing. Perfect base for our short break in the Blue Mountains. The only disadvantage of the property was that it only had one bathroom. There was an additional toilet but no lock on the door.
- Susan (10/5): - A very comfortable, well cared for property in a great location. Walking distance to restaurants and to walks
- ALLYSON (8/5): -
- Maria (9/5): Very enjoyable - Sunny back room
Very good quantity of supplies Only one bathroom
Acceptable for three ladies but would be a push for any further people
- Joan (7/5): -
- Gillian (10/5): Good location and great facilities. Very well set out and clean and tidy. -
- Cheryl (8/5): I’d happily recommend minty cottage to friends and family. - The cottage is clean and comfortable.
- Sally (10/5): Our weekend was peaceful at our stay at mintie cottage - Very comfortable and the garden was beautiful
- Bev (10/5): We had a most enjoyable stay from beginning to end. - There was nothing not to like about this beautiful property🤗👏 you are to be highly commended for the way in which this cottage has been so well presented. Nothing
- Sarah (9/5): A cute and cosy cottage that was a comfortable home base while exploring the mountains in winter. - The cottage was super cute and cosy. The sunroom was a great place to sit and watch the backyard - even through rainy weather. Appreciated the full kitchen amenities, and basics (tea, coffee, salt, pepper, oil etc). The starter pack for the fire was also helpful. The ducted heating was much needed during the middle of winter! Nice quiet location, but not far from the Main Street section of Leura. The mattress in the single bed was quite squishy, but I recognise that’s a very individual thing.

- Keren (5/5): We liked the Cottage . Roomy and spacious , and not too far from everything . - Location good . We cooked our own breakfast . We didn’t have any hot water for our showers on the last day . Absolutely cold . It came on about 9.30 and we were all dressed . We did have it on the first 3 days , but it wasn’t overly hot . When we first arrived it took us at least 3 quarters of an hour to get it . The black mechanism was jammed because of the cold weather , which we found out when we googled , that can happen .We We were wet and frozen when we finally got in .
- Kirsty (9/5): Really cute house, so homely, and close to everything. - The house was beautiful and sweet, so much room, lovely fireplace, great kitchen, and in a really convenient location close to everything. Nothing
- Sarah (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent home, great kitchen, very good central heating, clear instructions for using machines. Nothing
Too much repeated info in the emails
- Kim (9/5): Great location, spacious, comfortable base in a beautiful garden setting. - Well located between Blue Mountain walking trails and the Leura shops, this spacious and comfortable home was a great base for a long weekend exploring the area. Also within walking distance of the train. The mattress in the main bedroom could be more comfortable
- Mark (10/5): Wonderful period cottage to explore the Blue Mountains - Historical connection to the founders of Minties, with ample Minties provided
Comfortable beds and lounge suite
Sunroom overlooking the garden
Ducted heating and fireplaces
Location enabled easy walk to Blue Mountain lookouts and a short walk into the middle of Leura Nothing we didnt like
- Howitt (7/5): Good -
- Pamela (8/5): Very pleasant - Location was good and facilities. The heating, especially the heated floors in the bathroom. We liked the country feeling, especially the nice crockery and artwork. We loved the sunroom area. Too many instructions beforehand (it was off putting),would have preferred basic instructions and entrance code beforehand and the rest of the information in a booklet on site. A label of where the latch was in the key box as it took a while to work out. The second bedroom needs a better throw as it was tattered
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Rahmah (10/5): Excellent stay, well equipped and a beautiful house - Cute house, very well equipped, great location
- Ian (9/5): Superb - Comfy traditional Aussie bungalow, a 10 to 15 minute walk from the centre Leura. Great location for exploring the Blue Mountains.
- Claire (10/5): Lovely old home in great location with many great extras - Lovely old home close to everything in Leura. Very clean and comfortable with everything you could need.
- Margaret (10/5): Gorgeous heritage home in a superb location. - Gorgeous house which has retained its heritage and beauty Nothing
- Liana (9/5): Lovely spot , nice and clean and cute house , easy access with self check in and leaving also . Will come again - Very nice old home , gardens were really nice Pillows not that comfortable
- Alison (9/5): Everything was great. - The house is in a great spot, quiet but within walking distance to shops. Very clean and tidy and plenty of kitchen bits and pieces that you need are available. Plenty of cutlery, baking trays and glad wrap. Beds also comfortable and bathrooms clean and well stocked with soap and hot water never ran out. Nothing really. Lovely house. Maybe there could be more chairs in the sunroom that’s all.
- Wilson (9/5): Superb - Really comfortable with lots of space. Beds etc excellent and appreciated the small touches like good quality coffee making etc. would stay again
- Barnett (8/5): Nice house. Bad management - Very nice house The management company sent WAY TOO MANY EMAILS. Why am I paying a huge cleaning fee and being left a list of things to do? Ridiculous. Will never book with ACCOMMODATED again.
- Stephen (3/5): Poor -
- Glen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Fiona (10/5): Exceptional - Superbly appointed and provided with everything to make our stay perfect. -
- Tarsha (10/5): Such a pleasant cottage for our stay in the blue mountains - A beautiful comfortable homely cottage with all the amenities you could need. Was very cool having the history accompanied by a jar of Minties!
- Tina (9/5): Superb -
- Anne-marie (9/5): Beautiful cottage, very well appointed. Further from the Village than we expected. - The period features of the house. Too many signs and instructions on what to do and not to do. Really impacted on the atmosphere and reduced the levels of relaxation.
- Mark (10/5): Lovely. Well appointed and lots of fun! - Great location. Clear check in process. Cosy house and not over the top. Loved it! Nothing too problematic. No real issues.
- Christine (8/5): Very good - Charming and well-equipped.
- David (10/5): Exceptional - Excellent location, and lovely house
- Jennifer (10/5): Exceptional -
- Gerald (9/5): Wonderful few days spent with family from UK; nostalgic for son who had not visited the Mts (childhood holidays) for som - Comfort, situation, typical Blue Mts type cottage, the daffodils.
- Joel (9/5): Lovely place. Very clean. Great location. - All the amenities, utensils etc you would need. Nice area. Great heating as well as two fire places (have to get your own wood from a service station). Lots of space for our family of five. The spare bed in the back room (4th room) was a little on the less comfortable side, but there are plenty of other bed options before you need anyone to sleep on it!
- Christine (8/5): Very good - Need heater in main bathroom. Also keys in code locker didn’t work on departure ,difficult to use for entry also
- Donna (10/5): Just perfect - Very well equipped, great spot, lovely and warm. N/A
- Sarah (10/5): Loved , warm. cosy, beautiful, and large too - They thought of everything, gorgeous cottage Bed mattresses ok but could do with an upgrade, bit over the top with all the clauses/text sent prior, could put some off unnecessarily.
- Louise (10/5): No where near long enough. - That from the get go everything as was advertised, in fact better than expected and a true delight to stay in and perfect to enjoy the surrounding areas. There was nothing to find fault with.
- Lisa (8/5): Very good -
- Judith (9/5): Great mountains cottage feel with modern quality convenience and landscaped gardens. - Great original mountain cottage with modern quality appliances. A lived in family home feeling. The lounge was below average when comparing the home.
- David (10/5): Mintie Cottage- Great Place to Stay; Leura - Well Worth Visiting - The cottage has 3 bedrooms, lounge, dining room, kitchen, bathroom with toilet and laundry with toilet.
The kitchen had gas stove, microwave, pantry had extras eg cooking spray, condiments, extras that you do not usually get from my experience., Bed very comfortable. House has heating which was appreciated due to the cooler nights. The cottage was set in it's own grounds with garden at the front and walk around gardens in the backyard. The cottage was probably 400 metres from the main shopping area. There was nothing not to like about Mintie Cottage, nor about Leura from my perspective.
- Catherine (8/5): Good heritage home but needs less rules - It’s a heritage property which has maintained its charm but offers plenty of modern appliances. It appeared to be well equipped for families as well as couples. It’s in a nice quiet location within walking distance to the shops and cafes. Good outside space. Excellent shower. On arrival the property smelt musty as though it had been unoccupied for a while. The mustiness did disappear once the windows were opened but the initial impression was disappointing. The pillows on the bed were too soft but that could be down to personal preference. There seemed to be endless messages from the hosts listing what you could and could not do whilst staying. It made us feel a bit uncomfortable.
- Jennifer (10/5): Mintie Cottage was like a home away from home and hope to return one day. - Mintie Cottage was well situated close to Leura Mall shops in a beautiful leafy street. It was well presented and well equipped which made our stay most enjoyable. Parking in the driveway was a little tricky due to the lack of space on either side when getting out and in of our standard sized vehicle. However, the street is quite wide enough to park a vehicle safely outside.
- Karen (10/5): Location, quality cottage and perfect for our stay. - The house was so homely, comfortable and relaxing. We loved the sunroom. The kitchen was well equipped and with modern facilities. Three days was not enough. We loved it and its close location to the township of Leura. Nothing we didn't not like. It was a 10 out of 10 property..
- Jacqueline (9/5): Great location and value for money - Great location and comfortable settings The first bedroom could have a bed head on it and the couches in front room need updating.
- Beth (10/5): A lovely relaxing few days in the beautiful Blue Mountains - Very close to Leura shops and a short drive to Katoomba , great location , lovely little cottage. It was a very hot weekend so air con would be nice,
There were 2 fans available.
Gardens need a bit of love to bring them back , lovely birds came to the apple tree
- Ramon (8/5): Very pleasant stay - Quaint & filled with things to do on a rainy day. Spacious & nice features like the sunroom, games/books & well equipped kitchen. Little musty upon entry & fees charged for using card payment were excessive
- Jo (10/5): Fantastic location, gorgeous old style house, had everything we needed - Location was fantastic, house was gorgeous and had all we needed. Nothing
- Elizabeth (10/5): Charming cottage with all you could wish for! - The location was perfect for us and we were able to park on the drive. The cottage was very characterful, retaining it's charm, but at the same time having all the creature comforts one could wish for. Don't be fooled into thinking because it is a cottage it will be small, it is vast!! It was springtime, so seeing all the flowers out in bloom in the garden was a bonus. We felt really refreshed after our stay in Mintie Cottage and plan to stay there again. Nothing
- Hidemi (10/5): Exceptional - I booked for my family. They happy stayed here, quiet, comfortable, clean and nice location.
- Catherine (8/5): Great location. Lovely big cottage that was warm and cosy. - Charming cottage. Very clean. Lovely kitchen. Great central heating. Beds weren't very comfy - probably time for new mattresses.
Lock box for the key was a bit fiddly to open.
- Scott (10/5): Exceptional -
- Janet (9/5): Superb -
- Samantha (9/5): Superb -
- Donna (7/5): Good - Location, well kitted out kitchen Terrible damp smell coming from the laundry which permeated the whole house if the door was left open - it stunk
Rules and regulations that were sent prior to us checking in were a bit over the top - autocratic
- Joanne (9/5): Superb - Beds were extremely hard and uncomfortable
- Douglas (9/5): Mintie Cottage - a gem! - Loved the authentic Australian cottage, its furnishings and garden space. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Location was perfect to take in the blue mountains in the area, and to browse the local shopping mall. Correspondence on rules was a bit heavy but accepted this as part of business administration.
- Diane (9/5): Superb - Fabulous location within a few minutes walk of stunning viewpoints.
- Tina (8/5): Very good -
- Delphine (9/5): lovely true cottage ! awesome place to stay ! - everything ! the goodies (soap, coffee capsules, washing machine, etc..) were particularly appreciated. nothing
- Jacqueline (9/5): Superb - Had everything you need. Very comfortable beds. Great shower. Close to attractions. No fans in rooms which got quite warm
- Marilyn (8/5): Very good -
- Huijie (10/5): Exceptional - Very tidy and clean! Close to all amenities in Leura, and several minutes ' drive to Bluemountains.
I love this beautiful house and I will come again next year!
- Peter (9/5): Superb -
- Chalmers (9/5): Superb -
- Anonymous (9/5): Superb - The daffodils in the lawn are gorgeous!!
- Emily (10/5): Exceptional - Location was great, secluded and quiet but an easy short drive to activities/interests. House was lovely and warm throughout with comfortable seating and a clean and function kitchen. Wifi was slow at times and beds were a bit hard.
- Grace (9/5): Superb -
- Rachel (9/5): Lovely retreat which works well for families, couples or a small groyp - all necessary amenities there including spare towels and toiletries. spacious and yet still cosy. convenient location Nothing
- Denise (10/5): Lovely short break in beautiful Leura - Very comfortable and spacious It was further from Leura shops than we thought when booking
