Mostafa nous a organisé notre transfert de l'aéroport (ainsi que celui jusqua Abu Simbel AR) jusqu'à l'etablissement. Une belle terrasse sur le nil au calme etait la bienvenue et tres agréable. Les chambres simples et très propres étaient confortables avec la climatisation. Nous y avons pris tout nos repas bien cuisinés. Nous avons adoré cet établissement que nous recommandons sans réserve. Les petits déjeuners sont copieux et la cuisine du soir est très bonne avec certains plats traditionnels. La terrasse du restaurant est sur le bord du Nil où nous pouvons assister à un coucher de soleil incroyable. Elephantine Island est très calme, c’est vraiment une parenthèse de douceur.

Le personnel est très gentils Très arrangeant quand aux sorties , - il nous ont déposé le matin tôt sur l'autre rive pour le pickup de la sortie. C'était payant mais bcp moins chère que getyourguide -possibilité de prendre leur bateau pour gain de temps . -La chambre était très propre . -Terrasse du resto sur le nil Le chat qui nous embête (malgré qu'il soit trop mignon) lors des repas sur leurs resto.
• Viola (10/5): Relax sull'isola di Elefantina - Questa bellissima pensioncina si trova sul lato più tranquillo dell'isola di Elefantina e gode di una vista bellissima sul fiume Nilo. I proprietari sono molto gentili e ti accompagnano al molo lato Assuan ogni volta che lo richiedi.

L’emplacement sur l’île éléphantine au bord du Nil et en face de l’Aga Khan ! Le restaurant on l’on a merveilleusement bien mangé ! La possibilité de louer des kayaks pour une petite excursion sur le Nil! Rien ! Mais si on veut chipoter quelques serviettes de bain en plus serait le bienvenu 😉

La Guest House est située sur le versant ouest de l’île Éléphantine, endroit calme, loin de la fureur d’Assouan, privilégié pour admirer le coucher du soleil. La vue sur le Nil depuis la chambre est très appréciable. Petit déjeuner et dîner excellents sur la terrasse au bord du Nil. Mostafa, notre hôte, a organisé tous nos déplacements vers Philae, Kalabchah, Abu Simbel et Luxor. Accueil à la gare, transfert par bateau privé jusqu’à la Guest House au retour. Mention spéciale pour Yasser qui nous a conduit pendant deux jours pour découvrir les merveilles de la région d’Assouan. À découvrir absolument !

• Nina (10/5): Relaxing stay in Aswan! - The family running the guesthouse was very hospitable and helpful, arranging all our activities and transport, and even letting us stay a bit longer after checkout until our late evening flight. Elephantine Island is a quiet, peaceful spot - in my opinion, so much nicer staying here than staying in the city or the Nubian village, which feels very hectic. As a bonus, the views from the property are beautiful! All good!

It takes 5 minutes by the hotel boat to get to the pier on to Aswan . You can walk for minutes or hours in the narrow streets in the Iland and get to the public ferries as well . The hotel serves delicious family food and in the Island offers many of the best restaurants . We went to Abu Simbel for the day and Mostafa was there again to help us planned a super comfortable trip by car . Thanks to Mostafa and his family.

Badezimmer ist zu klein. Beim Duschen wird die Toilette nass und alles ist feucht(keine Abtrennung). Auf dem Grundstück und davor liegt zu viel Müll. Das muss alles weg. Die Ausstattung ist begrenzt.
• rosy28 (9/5): Magical Nubian stay on Elephantine Island - The guest house is located on Elephantine Island, opposite Aswan, in front of the Agha Khan's mausoleum, making it a quieter and more peaceful position. The structure is simple and basic, but the location is fantastic, with an enchanting view. Mostafa is very helpful and welcoming, accommodating our every request. He picked us up on his boat and took us back at the end of our stay. He always organized all the transfers and many excursions, both by boat and felucca, very well, at a reasonable price. The rest of the staff was also extremely kind and discreet: they always accommodated our every request,, including for breakfast, which was good and plentiful, as well as dinner (excellent spaghetti with tomato sauce!!), at competitive prices. Even on the morning I had a trip to Abu Simbel with a 4:00 a.m. wake-up call, they perfectly organized a takeaway breakfast. The room is spartan but has everything you need, and the view of the Nile directly from the room is magical. The wifi works excellently. Elephantine Island is beautiful and the Nubians are fantastic. I felt right at home thanks to Mustafa and his family. I loved my stay there and hope to return. Thank you, Mostafa!

• Jennifer (10/5): Great hospitality in a beautiful location - Fantastic location right by the Nile, facing towards the desert on the west bank and the botanical gardens. Lovely watching kingfishers from the restaurant while having breakfast. Arriving by boat is very cool! I really appreciated being met at the train station by Mostafa and the free transfer directly to the guesthouse by boat. The room was comfortable and I loved how the high, domed ceiling kept it naturally cool, even when it was around 30C outside (there is a fan and aircon though, if needed!) Mostafa is a fantastic, welcoming host and arranged excursions to Philae, the Botanical Gardens and the Nobles' tombs for us at a fair price. He also arranged our excellent onward felucca trip towards Luxor. We spent one night on the felucca and then were picked up by a car which took us the rest of the way to Luxor, with stops to visit the temples at Kom Ombo and Edfu. The felucca was very comfortable and incredibly relaxing with delicious food, so I'd recommend booking through Mostafa. It was great being picked up by the felucca directly from the guesthouse, and Mostafa stayed in touch during the trip to check in case we needed anything. All in all, we loved our stay here and hope to return. Thank you, Mostafa!

E para fechar com chave de ouro o quarto tem uma bela vista para o Rio Nilo e podemos contemplar o por do sol.

Le resto est très bon et pas cher, la vue géniale, on s’en lasse pas. On accède au ferry pour Aswan en 10min à pied. Pour les sorties accessibles en bateau ou tours en felouque, voir directement avec Mostafa, car ils nous emmènent depuis l’hôtel et à prix très raisonnable. La chambre super ! Un détail de rien du tout mais un accroche serviette dans la salle de bain.

The room (5) was very comfortable with an INCREDIBLE view and the shower was very good and hot! The location is on the other side of Elephantine island which means you do have to walk to get to the ferry but it’s not far and it does mean it is quiet and with a beautiful view over the West Bank so a great place to sit and relax for a while. I would recommend to anyone to stay here Our only regret is not eating dinner at the guest house!

• Helen (10/5): Gorgeous guesthouse on Elephantine Island with everything for the perfect Aswan trip - Gorgeous guesthouse with the best location and views in Aswan (I couldn't stop photographing it!). Mostafa did everything to help us have a wonderful stay - tons of advice and organizing hassle-free trips to Philae, Abu Simbel and a beautiful felucca ride with Mohammed. We rented their kayaks to explore the Nile and the opposite bank which has a fantastic ridge-top walk to a lookout and some tombs. Staying here on Elephantine Island whilst in Aswan is highly recommended!

• Alexis (10/5): A gem in Aswan - The highlights here are the fantastic view of the Nile, and the warm hospitality of Mostafa and his family. We had a triple room on the top floor with a balcony that had wonderful views. It was a lovely place to relax and we could easily spend all day out there watching the boats go by. The room was clean, a kettle and fridge were provided (but no tea or coffee or toiletires). There were plenty of power outlets to charge devices and WiFi worked well for what we needed. The egyptian breakfast is also really good, and changes each day. We looked forward to breakfast each morning. I recommend you book your tours and transfers through Mostafa, he offered very reasonable rates and all were reliable and well organised. The island itself is a nice local community and everyone is friendly and welcoming. It is a peaceful place to stay, away from the noise and hassle of the city. Very easy to get to the main area by the public ferry or Mostafa's boat. Everything is easily walkable. Bring a torch (or use the light on your phone) for walking around at night but it is very safe. Mostafa was a great host, by the end of our 5 days there we felt like we lived there and felt at home. He was kind enough to take us back to the city and ensure we found our transfer safely. Thanks for an excellent stay, we would happily return. The beds were much firmer than we are used to, although it was good for my back. It would have been nice to have the room cleaned once during our stay just to empty bins etc. Also would be great to have water included in the room on the first night. Not much water pressure, but you are on an island so not unexpected. Overall no big issues and we still enjoyed our stay very much.

• Peter (10/5): Wish we were still there - Nile View Guesthouse is one of those "wish we'd stayed longer, would love to go back" locations. From first contact until after our departure, Mostafa and family made us feel very well looked after. Our room - named "DYI" - had a lovely balcony and an excellent view past the moored felucca, across the Nile to the Aga Khan's mausoleum on the west bank. We'd happily have spent far more time there than we did, just watching the comings and goings on the river. Exploring the Nubian village and temple site nearby was an added pleasure. Mostafa also organised a few transfers and activities for us for reasonable prices (payable by card if need be) and these all went well. All arrangements were clear and well handled. The two breakfasts we had were very good and we regret not having more meals there. We saw a cleaner chuck a container of trash off a balcony into the reeds by the river. We didn't follow up at the time - it may have been an different-but-connected building, rather than Nile View itself. But either way: just no. Don't bother trying to visit Movenpick on the same island. They've walled themselves off completely - only boat access in and out - thus demonstrating how little they rate supporting neighbouring people and businesses. Stick with the folk who are looking after you so well at Nile View.

• Gunruthai K. (10/5): A warm guesthouse in Elephantine island - The staffs are very kind and helpful. The pick up for check in is free on the city side. They sent me to the ferry at 2:30 am. (300EGP extra charge) and packed the breakfast for me for 2 days. The nile view from the Guesthouse is beautiful. The community around is safe, I walked back to the GH from the pier in the evening. It's about 15 mins to reach. The pillows are flat. The bathroom is quite small but it's enough for 1 person. If you book a tour you need to start your tour on the city side, take a boat

Having breakfast while looking on the westbank of the Nile with view of Aga Khan mausoleum and Sahara desert was magical! The staff was very friendly and hospitable. We had a delicious tajine for dinner as well. Very good and local kitchen. We really enjoyed our stay here on nice and quiet Elephantine Island with Nubian hospitality! The room is good, but the bathroom a bit basic. There is not much space for the shower so the bathroom floor easily gets wet but considering the price this was not a problem for us!

• FIRAT (8/5): Good but Extra effort for Transportation - Niel View nice and rooms are clean / İnternet connection was nice! Since the hotel is located on Elephantine Island, transportation to the mainland is only possible by boat. The hotel itself is on the opposite side of the island, so walking to the pier takes at least 15 minutes. The route goes through small back streets, and it’s not very easy—especially at night. It gets quite dark, and finding your way can be challenging. Overall, keep in mind that the location requires extra effort for transportation, particularly after sunset.
• willis (10/5): Elefantine oasis - This was our third time here. It is an oasis of peace on the banks of the nile. Fabulous view of the dunes across the way and watching the boats is so relaxing. • Charlotte (9/5): Très bonne adresse à Assouan - Très bon accueil directement en sortant de la gare et amené en bateau jusqu'à l'hôtel, une terrasse superbe pour profiter de la fin de journée, un petit déjeuner excellent, l'hôte très accommodant pour notre départ très tôt le matin. Pas de paroi de douche dans la petite salle de bain donc elle est directement inondée après chaque douche : la raclette est bien utile 😉
• Charles (10/5): Parfaite guesthouse pleine de charme pour un séjour au calme - La vue est magnifique sur l’île aux fleurs. Les hôtes sont adorables, très prévenants et disponibles. La localisation sur l’île éléphantine est très agréable car au calme avec une offre de restauration très correcte à proximité. Rien de spécial à signaler.

Personnel qui parle anglais, très sympathique. Pas de gel douche. Le bateau privé devrait être gratuit pour les clients de la guest house. Lits un peu dur.
• Jimmy (10/5): Super je recommande - -propreté des chambres . -la vue magnifique depuis la chambre du haut avec vu sur le nil ,le désert, la nécropole des nobles etc. -la nourriture malgré que nous ayons testé que les pâtes, le poulet , petit déjeuner et pizza -la gentillesse de cette famille toujours au petit soins . Qui repond oui a tte vos demandes , Qui nous ont vite aidé pour amener notre fils a l'hôpital d'assouan ( suite a une tourista chopé avant et une mauvaise chute dans la douche en courant au WC obligé de faire scanner crânien pour etre sûr de aucun traumatisme crânien) Ils ont pris de ses nouvelles , venus jusqu'à l'hôpital et attendus un long moment le tzmps que l'on sortent . Bref dès gens super . Alors pas grand chose mais je suis obligé d'alerter les gens sur le carrelage très glissant une fois mouillé de la salle de bain. Mes 2 enfants on fait une chute et moi même j'ai failli aussi. Et les lits sont durs .
