• helene (7/5): - Propre et bien situé , arrivée sans complications.belle finition de l’espace. L’odeur très forte du ‘sens bon ‘, plug in, qu’on s’est dépêché de retirer de la prise électrique. Il a fallut ouvrir la fenêtre pendant des heures avant que l’odeur soit tolérable les draps en étaient imbibés, je ne comprend pas pourquoi mettre des trucs aussi fort, une fois évacuée il n’y avait pas d’odeur déplaisante dans l’appartement. Ce n’était donc pas une façon de camoufler des mauvaises odeurs . Mon conjoint est assez sensible aux odeurs fortes moi même j’ai été incommodée. C’est très petit, pour un long séjour je me sentirais à l’étroit. Il faut ouvrir la porte de la salle de bain pour pouvoir ouvrir la porte du four.
• Cynthia (5/5): Good location. Could be comfort for only 1 or 2 person to stay. - Location is very good. A lot restaurant choices around. Kitchenware is well equipped. 1/ Host mentioned we will stay in first floor, while several stairs needed for both first and second floors, which is not convenient for elder with knee problem. 2/ We stated 3 person so sofa bed will be used. Only a mattress cover and a blanket without a duvet cover were put in a quilt bag. We need to install by ourselves. And for blanket, considering the hygiene, duvet cover is better to be provided. Compare with the latter days, the sofa beds in other places are all well installed by bed sheet, even it's folded when we arrived. 3/ The bed frame is easy to hit the legs, due to the space limitation. 4/ We stayed 2 nights. Both days are woken up at seven o'clock in the morning by big noise caused by renovation of neighborhood. 5/ Guests need to pay extra CA$35 of waiver fee. This is better to be clearly stated in the introduction or during the reservation process. Currently only shown in the review area. 6/ Parking in the space at the backyard of the building charges extra CA$25 per day. Compare last year when we stay in another B&B, host informed us in advance the free street parking area at night, and the following morning let us move the car to his backyard. The feeling of friendship is quite difference.
• Inès (7/5): Décevant et annince Booking.com pas totalement conforme . Nous ne recommandons pas . - Très propre , bien agencé , bien équipé . Très bon emplacement . Environnement plutôt bruyant , nous avons été gênés à plusieurs reprises par les déplacements matinaux du voisin du dessus , dont on entendait la douche et les pas sur le parquet . Pas de chance il y a eu des travaux tes bruyants tôt le matin dans l’immeuble de l’autre côté de la ruelle . 3 désagrément de ce logement: 1) l’entreprise propriétaire exige la souscription d’une assurance complémentaire pour 24€ minimum , ce qui n’est pas annoncé dans le descriptif Booking.com. 2) propriétaire qui ne communique qu’en anglais . Au Québec il est obligatoire de pouvoir communiquer avec la clientèle en français comme en anglais . 3) il n’est pas dit dans le descriptif Booking.com que le logement est en demi-sous-sol ( basement ) : la fenêtre donne sur le pot d’échappement et les pneus des voiture agates dans la ruelle !

• Jacob (5/5): - Good location, clean, easy to access, very friendly and communicative hosts. Very poor sound insulation (footsteps of upper neighbor woke me 3x between 1am and 3am in the night even with ear plugs). Strange sour smell in the apartment.

Just needs a well-thought-out closet organizer and it would be great! FYI - water leaks down the outside of the shower door and the floor gets pretty wet.
• Shannan (7/5): Great location. Comfortable stay. - Location and excellent communication from the management company. All I needed for a short stay. Clean. The size of the apartment on the apartment page is incorrect and therefore misleading. It says 90sqm but in actual fact is closer to 28sqm (300sqft) so quite the difference and I found that disappointing. Thought I was staying in a spacious apartment (and the reason I selected it), but that certainly wasn’t the case. I have notified management of listing error and they have replied to say it will be corrected. It hasn’t been as yet. Apartment is an open-plan studio with poky but practical bathroom however the apartment is very well appointed and comfortable. Didn’t see the washing machine as was noted on the facilities list but maybe I didn’t look hard enough. Could not get the tv to work and advised management who were quick to respond but my stay was so short that in the end I didn’t pursue getting it sorted while there.
• Abderrahim (6/5): Fair - The stay was good. The appartment was clean and contains the essentiels. The location was good, close to two metro stations and was at a vibrant and charming neighberhood little italy and also close to Jean Talon Market and to Jarry Park. The staff was very gentle when they allow me to keep my luggages at their office. I was obliged to sleep at the Sofa bed and the matress was not really confortable. The apartment was quite small and make it a little bit difficult to move confortably. No storage bags for your clothes.

• Nicola (8/5): Very good - I liked the check-in system, very easy and intuitive, I liked the cleaning of the room and the location was perfect for my goals. The zone where the structure is located offers a variety of possibilities for restaurants, shops, and pubs. Well linked with the city center with public transportation.
• Gloria (6/5): Was good cozy, over all clean but too small for 3 people though. - The little place was clean! Kitchen too small and not laundry on site. Walking distance to train station was a bit far. Sofa bed mattress was too soft it needs to be upgraded! Over all good place to stay perhaps only 1 or 2 nights max!! If you like Italian food is a great area too. Dining table too small only fits one person! But a clean and quiet place to sleep cable and wifi was good to have! Thanks no matter what we enjoyed our short stayed! Washroom was cozy water shower was great!! We are walkers so distance to touristic places and area bit too far, long walk to the train or subway station and bus schedule too far apart.

• Ravil (3/5): I don't recommend it. - After I booked the apartment at the booking.com, paid in full, and received a confirmation number, the host of Palms Little Italy Studio began sending me emails requesting to provide a copy of ID and a copy of a credit card. I didn't understand why should I provide a person I don't know with a copy of ID with my address and date of birth, as well as a copy of credit card with its number, expiry date and security code. So I asked "Why?" The response was that if I do not provide it, the booking will be cancelled. Unfortunately I didn't have time to find another apartment. That was not all of the disappointments with the Little Italy Studio. When I came to the unit address after a long flight from Vancouver, I wasn't able to open the door of the unit. I tried the provided code several times and thought they gave me the wrong code. It was quite late, the time was around 10:30 pm. Surprisingly, ten minutes later a frightened old woman opened the door from inside. The unit was actually occupied! After phone calls, they were able to give me another unit on the fourth floor without an elevator. The experience was very disappointing.
• Jeffrey (8/5): Very good - The location of the apartment was ideal in terms of being a 10-minute walk from the Jean-Talon market, the metro station and from a variety of bistros and restaurants nearby. It was very clean and modern, as it was recently renovated. The bathroom was very modern as well. One suggestion would be to add a fixed soap-dish in the shower area itself as well as a robust towel rack. Although parking was not readily available on the street in front of the building, more free spaces were available on the nearby side streets close by. Despite having provided explicit information prior to our arrival, the sofabed did not have the clean sheets requested; however, the management was quick to react to our request and were able to resolve the issue within a short time frame.
