• Nur (9/5): Nice - Sergio is a really kind person. The location of the house is excellent. This is a very old building. The bedrooms are upstairs and the stairs leading up are quite steep. We didn't mind this since we only stayed one night, but it might not be suitable for everyone.

This area in the historic centre was our favourite area of Naples. Brilliant restaurants and cafes nearby and wonderful, welcoming people. Communication with Sergio was easy; we would definitely stay here should we visit Naples again. Nothing.

A dishwasher would have been great., but in Naples one eats outside most of the time 😊 It was great. From outside it looks chaotic but that’s the case for most buildings in Naples. The apartment met our needs and expectations

La casa è comodissima per famiglie di 4/5 persone con due stanze, due bagni, piccolo soggiorno e cucina abitabile dotata di tutto. Serve un po' di attenzione sulla scala interna che collega il primo piano al secondo, piuttosto ripida, ma noi ce l'abbiamo fatta alla grande anche con un bimbo di 4 anni.

• FÁTIMA (6/5): Buena ubicación - La ubicación es excelente, está en pleno centro del barrio Porto. Transporte cercano y muchos restaurantes. Habitaciones muy amplias, con 2 baños completos y cocina totalmente equipada. Aire acondicionado en todas las estancias y Smart tv con Netflix. Las escaleras del dúplex son muy estrechas, un tanto peligrosas, algo a tener en cuenta ya que hay que subir las maletas al piso superior. Los cabezales de las 2 duchas, deberían ser sustituidos, uno por viejo y lleno de cal, y el otro por qué estaba roto. Algunas partes de la cocina, estaban un poco sucias, así como las juntas de los azulejos del baño. En una de las habitaciones tuvimos que mover la cama para coger algo que se nos había caído y, ¡Sorpresa!, Una gran capa de polvo y calcetines de un huésped anterior. Tiene poca luz natural y poca ventilación en las habitaciones ya que los ventanucos son pequeños.

Nothing (just be mindful it's on the 2nd floor with no lift) but large staircase so easy to get pram up
• emily (9/5): Great locaton for exploring Naples and surrounding areas - Cute apartment in a central location with everything we needed. Having air conditioning and laundry in the unit was great, and we loved being steps away from restaurants, shops, etc. The unit has 2 bathrooms, which is perfect for larger families. Sergio was attentive and made sure he had everything setup for us, including setting up a rollaway bed for our 7-year-old. We did a few daytrips - Herculaneum, Sorrento, and the ferry to Ischia and it was easy to get to the ferry dock. The train station was a bit more of a trek at maybe a 20-minute walk. The daytrips were all great, and we also enjoyed a food tour and an amazing pizza making class at Naples Bay Cooking Lab, which was maybe a 5-minute walk away from the apartment. The keys required a little finesse to get into the building, but luckily a neighbor came and helped us get it figured out. Also note that it is upstairs with no lift - not a big deal at all, just something to be aware of :)

Hay posibilidad de parking cercano, por recomendación de la gerencia elegimos Parking Duomo, se puede contratar por 30 euros día, negociar si es necesario. El apartamento es amplio , con 2 baños y 2 habitaciones . Dispones de utensilios de cocina y todo estaba muy limpio. Volveríamos a hospedarnos
• Graeme (10/5): Perfect position to visit Naples and very quiet. - Location was fantastic -- in the heart of the vibrant historic centre, perfectly placed on the 'Spaccanapoli'. It's just 15 minutes' walk taking in the sights and sounds to Via Toledo (or down Via Tribunali to Piazza Dante Dante) and then a couple of minutes and you're in the Quarteri Spagnoli. Duomo metro station is five minutes' walk from Sergio's House and Piazza Cavour metro is nine minutes, so it's straightforward getting to Chiaia, the furnicular, Castel Sant'Elmo, etc Property is brilliantly quiet even though in such a lively area. Best of both worlds...
• Chieh-loon (8/5): Great base to explore Napoli with plenty of space to stretch out. - Accommodating host that ended up having to meet us very late at night due to flight delay. This is a big apartment in a central area of Naples with plenty of space for a family of 4. There are two bathrooms so if that is something your travel party can benefit from it's a great fit. Good area with plenty of shops and restaurants. Maybe 20 minute walk to main train station. Very cool old building with ceiling beams and good character/charm. The staircase upstairs is steep so if you have little ones please be careful.

He was very nice greeted us with some delicious local delicacies! Even our Italian was really poor, he was helpful and responsive. His apartment is in a great location close to Metro. • Karen (9/5): Sergio's House Xmas 24 - My friend and I stayed at Sergio's House for two weeks over Christmas and New Year. Sergio greeted us when we arrived and showed us everything we needed to know. He also checked in with us by WhatsApp every now and then. The apartment was well equipped and the beds comfy. The upstairs ensuite shower was wonderfully powerful after a day of full on touristing! The location was perfect. Just off the via Duomo where it meets Spaccanopili. Five minutes walk to the Duomo metro and within twenty minutes of many of the tourist attractions and the main train station. The apartment is in a traditional block so isn't suitable for people who struggle with stairs as it's four flights up and the staircase in the apartment to the mezzanine for the bedrooms is steep. But if you are ok with that I would recommend it as a great place to use as a base to explore Naples and the surrounding area.

• Luigi (10/5): Great location in the thick of it in Naples - We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sergio’s House. The apartment was impeccably clean, had a fully equipped kitchen and had a washing machine that allowed us to do a load of washing. On arrival we found Neopolitan pastries, which provided us with the first tastes of Naples. Sergio was an utter gentleman and host, providing us with detailed instructions for appliances, recommendations for restaurants and contacts for transfers, all with a huge smile and welcoming nature. The accommodation is smack in the middle of Historical Naples and central to everything, just put on your walking shoes. The stairs were a little steep, but we make them work, not really a big deal. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience or host. Grazie Sergio, Anna e Luigi0…alla prossima.
• Kerrie (8/5): Perfect location - The location was amazing Next to no windows upstairs. Very steep stairs. No instructions about needing to turn the hot water on. No coffee machine instructions. No wine glasses. Huge toiletry bottles with basically 2 drips in all of them?? Arranged pickup was less than ideal. We arranged a pickup from the airport to get out speedily as we were arriving late. Our flight was delayed by an hour but the driver, who had advised that he was tracking our flight, arrived 40 mins after first contact that we had arrived, despite directing us to an external car park where he clearly wasn’t. He dropped us at the end of Sergio’s street, around 1.00am, with instructions that it was 20m up and on the right. He didn’t know the number. 10 mins later when we were standing trying to figure out where the actually place was he turned back up, showed us the gate, called Sergio and we were let in. Not the experience I expected. We never met Sergio ‘he was out of town on urgent business’ so didn’t get the welcome, pastries, Information etc that others had spoken about and was a large reason why I booked. The location was great, communication was great, but the personal contact which had been highlighted in previous reviews was non existent.

The house has all the necessary household items and kitchenware for a self catered stay. The description of the accommodation states city view which it doesn't have. Maybe there was a roof top garden that we weren't told about.

The apartment is fully furnished with 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, full kitchen., air con, heating, washer. The best part is Sergio, who had water and pastries for us. He met us to explain the workings of everything. Helped with transportation for airport. The photos correctly represent the apartment The only caveat is that it’s about 4 flights of stairs so pack light. Otherwise 10/10

Sergio payed extra attention to the little details that make a stay special, like the lovely pastries, coffee & water, things that typically you don’t get! Sergio himself was always available to help you with any of your needs!! He is a 5 star host!!! His apartment is also 5 star!!! Great Location as well! You can’t go wrong with Sergio’s house. Maybe the few stairs, but we managed & Sergio was there to welcome us.

• Juraj (10/5): Exceptional - Amazing apartment located in Napoli city centre, close to interesting sites, railway station or metro station to get wherever you want. Lot of restaurants, pizzerias, grocery stores nearby, gelato right on the other side of the street. Plus, only couple of minutes by foot from Pizzeria da Michele. The apartment is super clean and has everything you need to enjoy your stay - fully equipped kitchen, two rooms with comfortable beds, two bathrooms, air condition in each room, coffeemaker (with lot of coffee) and much more. Sergio is perfect host, ready to answer all of your questions, checking if everything is ok, gives you recommendations on sites, where to get a nice meal, or, if you are interested, Sergio will get you in contact with a person who provides a private tour to Amalfi coast. We really enjoyed our stay. Thank you Sergio!
• Chounouzidis (10/5): Exceptional - Rooms: the house is very clean and cozy. Is fully equipped with more that probably will be needed. Location: Perfect. If you want you can walk to the most important locations by foot. Also its very close to metro station (Duomo) and that helped us a lot. OWNER: When decided to travel to Naples with thought that it would be nice if we had help from the owner. So the things we read about Sergio was important. And was totally true. I don't know if people in Naples are friendly but Sergio is a great person with will to help you at anything. Also we found in the house little things that made us a little bit happier. Water in the fridge, sfogliatella and prosecco. Small things bit shows that the owner want to make a good impression Afterall: Sergios house is truly recommended from us, I think it is a great choice. If we go back to Naples it would be our first choice

The location in the heart of the old town is perfect because everything is relatively close. There were a lot of restaurants, bars, shops, metro & bus stations etc nearby. The owner Sergio did everything he could to make us feel welcome and was really polite and helpful. He even left us a gift box, a lot of coffee, tea which reassured us that this was the right place we booked.

• Jasna (9/5): A well-kept apartment in the heart of the ancient centre of Naples - Sergio, the owner, did his best to transform what he calls a "structure" into a comfy apartment. Right in the middle of the ancient center, in Spaccanapoli street, by the cathedral, the apartment has been recently redone. It has an inside staircase leading to bedrooms and a bathroom. The other bathroom and the living room with a kitchen are downstairs. All rooms are spacious; the blue one with a blue bathroom is really nice. Sergio is a very kind host, he let me in the apartment before the normal check-in time, in the morning, immediately after the arrival. I really appreciated this, since it allowed me to find shelter on a terrible rainy day, and join the sightseeing tour that I had signed for without the suitcase. The location is handy, near the underground and several sightseeing spots (like the Pio Monte de la Misericordia chapel or the cathedral), though now that I know Naples, I would have preferred to be on the other end of the street, toward newer parts of the city. There was in one thing that kept me alert all the time : the blue room has a low ceiling, and the entrance to the adjacent bathroom is even lower, so I had to pay attention not to bump the head into the ceiling or the doorway. I guess this room would better accommodate a shorter person. The other room has a normal ceiling, but its inconvenience (especially at night) is the bathroom which is downstairs, down the rather steep staircase. These were the only two things I did not like.

The staircase leading to the both bedrooms was too steep. I wouldn't recommend elderly people climbing it.

The peaceful and comfortable quality inside the house is a great co - the property is in excellent condition , clean and well cared for. Sergio is an excellent host and went to a lot of trouble to see that we were comfortable. It is in a very lively and bustling part of the old town and as you come out of the entrance courtyard there are shops and food outlets immediately there. That said when you shut the door to the apartment it is quiet and spacious. The heating was good and both showers were very good with lots of hot water. The shared courtyard is crumbling and the apartment is on the second floor. the stairs inside the apartment leading to the bedrooms are steep but you do get used to them.
