- Hannah (9/5): Very kind and wonderful peaceful place to stay - the restaurant was absolutely wonderful. The chef is informed and passionate and very accomodating to indiviual dietary needs. Cups and spoons in room coffee facilities were a bit dirty
- Michael (10/5): - Excellent accommodation and superb customer service in all aspects from arrival, at dinner and at breakfast. Highly recommended Nothing
- Mary (10/5): Hostorical building, with old fashioned service and modern conveniences - We loved absolutely EVERYTHING. The building was gorgeous, the bedrooms were absolutely beautifully appointed and the service was second to none. It felt very much like a family’s passion project and every detail was considered and deliberate to ensure a luxurious stay. Nothing….it was perfection.
- michael (9/5): Very pleasurable first night in Tassi. - Enjoyed the tour pf the house giving an understanding of the early ingluence on Richmonds architecture. Open bathroom and low roof
- Vicki (7/5): - The dinner was very good and the staff friendly and attentive. The glass of bubbly on arrival was most welcome. The breakfast was ordinary and not up to expectations.
- Julie (9/5): Lovely place to stay and enjoy a beautiful house and location. Restaurant food was delicious. - Lovely comfortable room and nice garden It would have been nice if fire was lit in lounge room for guests to enjoy this room before and after dinner.

- Vincent (9/5): FABULOUS ACCOMMODATION RICHMOND - This renovated accommodation provides old world charm. Large light & quiet room on the first floor with modern facilities. Afternoon tea & wine tasting at Pooley’s Winery included along with excellent breakfast. We had a problem with the safe. Lisa & Imogen in particular went above & beyond to get it opened. All staff excellent. The restaurant is also top notch. Property needs charging facilities for EVs. Highly recommended.
- Leanne (10/5): -
- Leszek Roman Jozefat (3/5): No sleep - Good looking property. Nice welcome. Wine tasting experience. The ac was so loud even at the lowest fan setting. Even after switching off it took a while for the compressor to quiet down. It was a warm night coupled with very soft pillows we found it a challenge to sleep. Also, there was a sensor (maybe for smoke?) on the ceiling right on top of the bed which was lit. All in all a good sleep was what we were looking for and we did not get that.
- Ken (10/5): -
- Peter (10/5): Loved it. David was a particularly good host. - Classy, clean, amenities Whiskey was a bit too expensive

- Kirstin (10/5): - Such a a charming house, fabulous service, delicious food, comfortable
- Cheryl (10/5): - The staff were very attentive. Great fit outs in a very very old building. Shower was superb! Leaving.

- Justin (9/5): Just lovely! - The property and team were amazing. We had a such a lovely time. The room was just gorgeous. We had some challenges with nuts at dinner. One of our party is very allergic to nuts. Despite this dinner was served with nuts with no mention on the menu. The staff were extremely apologetic but this could have been a serious health concern. We did feel however they took onboard our concerns and responded accordingly.
- matthew (9/5): -
- Dianne (10/5): - A delightful stay at Prospect House in beautiful grounds. The staff were attentive and welcoming making our stay feel extra special. The rooms offered a comfortable bed, quality tea and coffee, and bathroom essentials.
Breakfast was served daily and very good quality continental breakfast with your choice of beverages.
We dined in house and while menu was limited the meals were very good.
Close to Hobart airport without staying in the city. There is nothing to not like.
- Belinda (10/5): Excellent - Everything. The staff, rooms and food are all exceptional. This was our second stay and we bought our family and they loved it. The setting is fantastic. Nothing.
- Nicola (10/5): Relaxing and comfortable. - We felt so welcome, were offered a drink and a tour of the house. The gardens are beautiful. Tea in the lounge room overlooking the Pooley vineyard was very relaxing and I finished my book. Nothing. It was fabulous and I hope we can come back again soon.
- Dylan (10/5): - Amazing place, beautiful history and quiet area
- Mike (9/5): Glad we stayed here it was very comfortable & relaxing - Breakfast was nice we only had a toastie but it was served to us with our coffees.
There were plenty more options available but we only eat light in the mornings.
Location is just out of town but not far.
The bed was super comfy & the room was spacious & well appointed.
If you are going to Richmond & looking for accommodation I highly recommend staying here. Google maps will take you to the rear of the property instead of the main entrance on the other side of the property.
- David (9/5): - Great attention to detail, really nice location. Food was really good but portion size was a bit disappointing.
- Jean-Christophe (10/5): -
- Shirley (10/5): For 20 hours I imagined myself living in the 1850’s. - Imagined being transported in time.

- ANGELA (9/5): Delightful - It was very comfortable We were in a ground floor room with facilities for disabled. The shower was modified for a wheel chair so water sprayed most of the bathroom. It could be easily recifified by a sliding screen.
- Noreen (10/5): Very relaxing and well looked after by the lovely staff - Timeless and elegant house used beautifully for accommodation and dining There was nothing we didn’t like

- Diane (9/5): Beautiful property and grounds handily positioned for wine tasting at Pooleya - Being met at our car by the staff. Relaxed check in process. Beautiful and well presented old property. Breakfast was good. Bathroom is lovely but a bit cramped (compact!). We had dinner in the restaurant which we would rate 7 out of 10.
- Avinash (10/5): Nice Stay, beautiful location - Everything Nothing
- Julia (8/5): Comfortable accommodation however overpriced for what's provided - Given the cost of the room (breakfast included) they could have provided eggs. They didn't bring to my attention the GF option, which I discovered on the second morning. The room was small and overpriced for what was offered.
