• Heba (1/5): A severely unhygienic and misleading property, made worse by the host’s dishonest conduct. - Absolutely nothing, it is completely misleading This property in Mostar was nothing short of a health hazard and should be removed from any reputable booking platform. The condition of the apartment was filthy, deceptive, and deeply unhygienic. The balcony, which was advertised as an amenity, was completely sealed off and coated in thick layers of bird droppings, feathers, and grime—clearly untouched for months, if not longer. Inside, the situation only worsened. The kitchen was disgusting, with food stains and grease splattered across the microwave, oven, and surrounding surfaces. The fridge was stained and emitted an unpleasant odour. Used, stained washcloths had been deliberately folded with the clean side facing up to give the false appearance of cleanliness—an obvious attempt to mislead. The entire apartment reeked of dust and damp, and within hours of arrival, guests experienced sneezing, itching, and general discomfort. It was meant to be a four-night stay, but the conditions were so unlivable that we were forced to leave after just one night and pay out of pocket for alternative accommodation. What made the experience even worse was the host’s dishonesty and complete lack of accountability. When approached for a refund, he initially claimed it was no issue—then backtracked and pushed responsibility onto the agency. Upon contacting the agency, we were informed that the host had refused the refund outright. He then blocked our numbers and made no effort whatsoever to address the situation. This stay was an absolute nightmare. The listing is deliberately misleading, the host is untrustworthy, and the hygiene conditions are unacceptable by any standard. Do not stay here under any circumstances.
