  This elegant beach house enjoys stunning views of the ocean and 3.1 mi of white sand beaches from an expansive sundeck, the main bedroom and open plan living area. Unlimited WiFi is provided. There is a well-equipped kitchen, a DVD player, stereo, BBQ, air-conditioning, heating, electric blankets, a washing machine, sun lounges and an outdoor setting. Please note that the maximum occupancy is 8 guests. There is a king-sized bed in the master bedroom, a queen-sized bed in the 2nd bedroom and the 3rd bedroom has a double-sized bed and 2 single bunk beds.

• Paddy (8/5): We had an epic stay in a glorious spot - Location and view was fabulous and the property was very well looked after Information in the guide book could have been more informative. For instance we have no idea of recycling policies in Australia so were not sure what went in what bin. No information about medical emergency facilities.
• Kerri (10/5): Loved our stay at Rosie's! - The location is perfect - a short walk to the beach and with a beautiful view from the deck. The property was well equipped and welcoming, nicely furnished and spotlessly clean. The gorgeous garden was full of bees and birdlife and we could hear fairy penguins at night. I would definitely stay here again. A second bathroom/toilet is always handy but the lack of one did not detract from our stay. Fans/aircons in the two rooms without would also have been useful but once the windows and doors were open we found that the bedrooms were cool enough for sleeping.
• Jaakko (8/5): - Spacious property with three bedrooms. The house was tidy and included everything that was promised. A nice view to the sea. We had read about the penguins nesting in the bushed next to the house but they are very loud. So take earplugs with you. The penguins were a surprise to our neighbours and they were furious about the noise (actually they wanted to drive away the penguins but we didn't let them). So, just to let you know.

Milk in the fridge, a few nibbles and lots of friendly hints and recommendations for our stay. The house is really well equipped, comfortable and suited us perfectly. Highly recommended. • Liang (9/5): - We love Rosie, not just the view, the interior design and the thoughtful facility offer that the kitchenware and we had a very good warm bath tub soak For an apartment for 8 pax, there should have more than 1 toilet unit. It can be a mad rush at times.

• Mark (10/5): Amazing, we’d come back regularly if we could. - Amazing view, really comfortable house, had everything we need. Loved our time in emu bay. A great spot to visit on KI. Not important for us, but just a FYI for anyone booking, at the time of our stay there is no dishwasher.
• John (10/5): Highly recommended five stars. - The extra touches such as cleaning items, salt and pepper, fresh bread etc. we travel a lot but often with holiday homes you need to stock up on things that you use but you haven’t brought from home, like condiments. It’s not worthwhile packing them to take home so they end up in the bin. At Rosie’s we appreciated these things supplied. The main big bedroom needs an air conditioner, so we ended up using the smaller bedroom. It was quite comfortable but in the summer all the bedrooms needs to be air conditioned as the main living areas are all glass.

Penguins in the backyard. Although we couldn't see them, we heard them. We would love to have seen the penguins that were in our backyard.

• Sharon (9/5): Loved it and would definitely stay again. - The location was fantastic with such beautiful views. The rooms were surprisingly spacious, and the beds were very comfortable. Very peaceful setting would recommend to others. Will encourage family and friends to stay. The light in the vanity area was pretty dark for applying makeup. Water pressure was not great in the shower, but there is no mains water in the town so its to be expected. Penguins were a little noisy, but its nature and a good experience.

• Maccanaught (10/5): Beautiful place to unwind. - Location was great as it overlooked all of Emu Bay. Very picturesque and calming to enjoy a coffee or wine on the deck whilst reading and watching the world go by. Haha, we didn’t see any penguins. We could hear them, but no matter how much we looked and waited, they were too elusive. I referred to them as Ghost Penguins.

House was set up with all we needed with full kitchen and bedding. When we got there we could get the key out of the locked box (it was old and rusty) so we called the owners. They were quite hard to get hold of and grumpy when they delivered the key, almost like it was our fault.
