• Melissa (8/5): Overall we had a lovely stay. - Excellent views Quiet and private Good position to explore other areas along the north west coast Very useful to have a washing machine and dryer as we were midway through a 2 week drive around Tasmania The door code was on a timer (I think), which we didn't realise. So we tried the code a little before our check in time (about 5 mins before), couldn't get in and then repeated tries of the code locked us out. We had to contact the property manager, who then contacted the owners and they re-set the code. Perhaps explaining that the pin should not be used before the entry time would be helpful, as people do arrive a little early and would expect to be able to get in if it's within 1/2 an hour of arrival time. We couldn't find the remote for the fire. One of the screen doors kept banging in the wind. The spa bath looked great, but we didn't use it because of the warnings about water consumption.

• Nerrilee (9/5): Superb accommodation BUT ensure you receive checkin instructions prior to arrival - I would have scored this beautiful property a 10/10 if not for the unfortunate situation on arrival (see comments below). The apartment is situated in a quiet cul de sac a 5 minute walk from glorious Boat Harbour main beach. It is located above a larger 2 BR unit below with a deck that stretches out over the rocky shore of the ocean. When entering the apartment you are greeted with million dollar views through floor to ceiling glass of the sheer beauty of the ocean before you. It is beautifully finished and appointed with absolutely everything you need for a very comfortable stay. After 5 days walking we greatly appreciated the built in laundry facilities provided. The kitchen is small with just a smallish bar fridge but well equipped, plenty of hanging space and a large twin sink bathroom, walk in shower and a very large spa bath...which with the water shortage seemed contradictory. On arrival at our allotted checkin time we had still not received any information for coded checkin. I was hoping / assuming we may be met at the property in person with the required information but this was not the case. I called the owner's contact no. several times with the call going straight to voicemail on each occasion. I also tried the contact no. for the manager listed...also without success. We were left at the property with no codes, no information and no contact. After some time the owner did finally return our calls but with not so much as a "SORRY" for the inconvenience. 1 HOUR AFTER finally gaining entry I received an SMS message from the Manager with all the codes necessary for the checkin process.....again with NO APOLOGY for the inconvenience caused through no fault of our own. The only other negative could be the car parking is very tight in the twin carport if both units are occupied at the same time...on this occasion it was not an issue for us as the other unit was unoccupied.

• Mandy (9/5): Great location - Location No place for suitcases only the floor. There is a massive two person spa however everything leads towards not using water because they’re on tank water. Why would you put such a large spa there?
• Keith (8/5): It's a lovely spot and space that does a lot right but it needs more pre-booking information - The location is wonderful and the facilities were very good given the relatively small space. Most of the wardrobe spaces were locked, leaving little space to hang our clothes. The proper way to enter the door code was not obvious and we almost gave up on trying to get in. We twice set off the alarm but noone came to check it. Our phone had no coverage in this area and so we had no way to get help. The pillows were uncomfortable and the bedclothes insufficient to keep us warm. We'd have loved extra blankets or pillows (perhaps locked in the inaccessible wardrobes?) We arrived without food supplies not realising that there weren't nearby options to buy food
