- Laura (10/5): Beautiful little getaway for the whole family. - Our family had a wonderful little getaway at Bird Song Farm. The hosts are really friendly and welcoming. The facilities are great and our kids loved exploring the property, interacting with the chickens and horses, but Hank the Turkey and Bella the dog really stole the show. It is so peaceful there and such a short drive to the beach. It’s a lovely spot and we would definitely stay there again.
- Anastasia (10/5): Real farm - Proper farm experience with live animals, very friendly hosts
- Jessica (10/5): Book extra time, your soul will thank you later - Location, peace and quite. The amazing animals and wildlife. The views. Fresh eggs from the chickens, fresh fruit growing in the garden. Such a lovely kind and helpful Lady Mel is. That we couldn’t stay longer
- David (10/5): - This was spacious and very comfortable accommodation. We stayed for two nights to give us a whole day to explore the local area, which is worth seeing. I can't think of anything I didn't like.

- Katherine (10/5): Bird Song Farm - We loved everything! Ben and Mel are wonderful hosts, very friendly and welcoming. We felt very relaxed and at home having cups of tea on the verandah, listening to the birds, and looking at the beautiful countryside. We loved being invited to pat the horses and talk about their foals. We visited nearby Hat Head Beach and Gladstone too. Best of all, we had our dogs with us the whole time! Thank you, Mel and Ben.

- Margaret (10/5): I would have loved to stay longer and soak up the calm. Mel is lovely and welcoming. - Beautiful location on the river with water birds and the resident turkey and chickens. There was plenty of room to spread out, both inside and outside. It was a home away from home. All good.
- Samual (10/5): Once in a life time - The owners of the farm were absolutely incredible! Me and Elia had a life changing trip here on the way to the Gold Coast! We arrived at the property and they rescue animals from the outback!
We were luckily enough to meet a baby Joey that had been orphaned! This is not guaranteed however!
Frank the turkey is super cool too!
In my opinion you can’t put a price on an experience like that!

Our hosts had us set up with eggs, milk, bread, butter and cereal for an easy start to breakfast. We really enjoyed our stay at birdsong, it comfortably housed myself, partner, 3 kids and two dogs for the weekend.

- Lisa (7/5): Lovely and quiet location close to 2 great places to vist. - Location was part way between Hat Head and SW Rocks and we visited both. Quiet, Lovely hosts. Nice view of river. We could have our dog and he played happily with Bella, the resident dog.
We could stay nice and warm in a heavy day of rain and I could work at the dining table where there was a power point nearby for charging my laptop. Could watch the river while I worked. I realise this may be a bit niche but would have loved a desk to work at.

Not a thing, everything was just perfect, just like the owners!

- Meg (9/5): Superb - The hosts were warm and kind and incredibly flexible. They even took my children to feed the animals and told us so much about the birds and farm animals. We were made to feel very welcome during our day. The location is so peaceful and beautiful… Way better place to stay then any motel near the highway. Really not much… It was a wonderful stay. I would only suggest that a few more glasses and wine glasses could have been useful.
