• Gary (8/5): Great locality and clean apartment. Just a shame about not being able to lock the patio door. - The location was great. Patio door was very stiff to open and close. Also we found we could not lock it and with no safe in the apartment, we had to carry our valuables out with us each day.

• Derk (8/5): Uiteindelijk goed verblijf in goede accommodatie - Algemene locatie, goed appartement, zwembad Preciese lokatie zeer slecht aangegeven door Booking.com., zeker 400 meter ernaast in verkeerd gebouw! Dus ook moeilijk de ingang te vinden. Uiteindelijk met veel heen en weer geapp met de host de juiste aanwijzingen gekregen.

• Deidree (10/5): Nice place to chill. - Being greeted by the owner / guide, who showed us to our apartment, and showed us around the apartment. Plus it has a Lovely swimming pool, which was not crowded. The neighbours were very kind a and helpful. It was a nice walk to the beach was about. 20 min slow walk and passed many eateries. Close to shops and supermarkets. The apartment was very clean and also had a washing machine and drying rack. There was a balcony with parasol, as it was very hot. A large fridge and plenty of utensils for use, great for self catering even lots of tea towels! Would truly recommend this place and may even go back there. Not far from the airport, so after a long journey, a little bit of comfort, a good comfortable bed and wardrobe and drawer unit. Plus a remote control for the ceiling fan. There was also a nice clean bathroom with bath and the shower in the bath which also had a shower mat, spare toilet rolls, the bath was low enough for my husband to get in and out as he has mobility issues. Nearly forgot, the bathroom even had a rack for our bathroom items which was great. We had a lovely short time there, and we can't say enough about this lovely place. The only thing the apartment was upstairs, but we managed and our neighbor helped us with our suitcase.

• Sarah (10/5): Perfect location and very comfortable - This is our second visit and was a perfect stay . Excellent location to all restaurants and the beach . Apartment is well equipt and comfortable bed, washing machine was great so didnt take loads of luggage either . had parking for our hire car too

Great for the centre, beach restaurants, shops, buses and taxis Apartment was quiet and felt safe as it was a gated complex Apartment was equipped enough for a short stay and comfortable We visited in November and it was warm there were fans in the apartment but feel that during the hotter months the apartment might not be comfortable temperature wise without air conditioning We couldn't get the TV to work on any UK streaming channels not that you want to be sat in watching TV whilst on holiday but if you were staying for longer period it would be nice to have.

• Julia (6/5): We enjoyed ourselves but a few niggles as above. - flat was clean and tidy There were steep steps to the property not mentioned and it was difficult to get suitcases up as my partner has heart failure. There was major road works outside the property so the taxi could not get us close to the property which again was difficult with suitcases. There was no serviceing in the property and no information provided re wifi etc. The balcony was tiny and overlooked the car park.
• Maria (7/5): Realtively nice! - The host was very nice, we did have a little language barrier which made things a bit difficult, but it was not a problem, overall she was really helpful and the apartment was very clean and fully stacked. The location was nice, lots of food and drink options nearby. There is a swimming pool in the complex. Despite the problems, we liked the place very much and our stay was pleasant at this private apartment! We did have a bit of trouble finding the place. I wish the host would have told us in advance the street is under construction and we cant use the parking. I didnt see any mention of the cameras in the apartment when we made the booking. They also didnt leave us any WiFi password. The hygiene was indeed exceptional, but I feel like the whole island canalisation has cockroach infestation, we did see 3 cockroaches and lots of tiny ants in the bathroom. Unfortunately, we didnt use the swimming pool because when we arrived it was dirty and maintenance were cleaning it the day we checked out. I know these things dont depend on the host but its worth mentioning..

• John (10/5): Excellent stay, we would highly recommend Bahia Sol - The property was exceptional in every way….. fully equipped kitchen, it was a 1 min walk to shops and restaurants and a 5 min walk to the beach. It was absolutely spotless and very secure. Nice pool and the complex was maintained to a high standard. We will definitely return again. On arrival roadworks prevented the taxi from dropping us to the door and there was a little confusion around the name Sun Bay, it’s actually called Bahia Sol. The name on Booking.com should really be changed.

• Rose (7/5): Good - Facilities are good, all you need for cooking, washing machine and iron, place was very clean. That the balcony overlooks a car park, the description of the apartment doesn't mention that it is upstairs and that it is on the Bahia Sol complex, there was noise on a couple of nights, I think a special needs teenager lives next door and bangs on door and moves furniture.

• Sarah (10/5): Immaculate apartment, great value - The apartment was spacious and very clean. I was met by Luci who was lovely about me arriving late due to flight delays. There is a bed with a memory foam mattress in the bedroom and a sofa bed in the living room. Both were very comfortable, though i only napped in the sofa bed. The living room has a smart tv which was great for relaxing out of the sun in the hottest part of the day. Wifi was excellent. The kitchen is well equipped with a full cooker and fridge freezer as well as toaster, kettle & coffee pod machine. Tea and coffee provided and there was water in the fridge for my arrival. There is also a washing machine which would be great for longer stays. Iron and ironing board also provided. There was a hairdryer in the bathroom. Shower was good, plenty of hot water. There's is no air-conditioning but a very strong fan is provided. I also found opening the windows/patio doors at either side of the apartment kept it at a nice temperature. The pool is directly downstairs from the apartment. This was never very busy as the complex seems to be a mix of holiday homes and residential. The whole area is very clean and quiet. Well located, supermarket and restaurants are only a few minutes walk. About 15 minutes walk to the beach. The bus stop for other parks of the island is maybe 7 mins walk. I found this apartment to be excellent value for money, well equipped and I would definitely book here again. Thank you for a lovely stay! Genuinely no complaints.
