• Henry (8/5): - Great location within the Swan Valley. Fantastic and very central to explore the area. The only reason not to score it better is the proximity to a rail freight line. The trains are frequent, very loud and run at all hours of the night and day.

The little home was beautiful very warm and family feel the environment around a was a breath of fresh air sitting on the balcony ,enjoying walks and farm life with my children highly recommended.

• Kyle (10/5): Crazy. Lovely. One of a kind - Place was awesome. Sweet little cottage and great place to stay. Private and close to home also. Thank you for a nice place to stay. The curtains in the lounge room need to have full privacy. And also no wifi. Starlink would have been sick. And robes.

• Brian (8/5): We had a great stay and will rebook in the future. - The home is really nice, very clean, comfy, no smells and it met our needs. The whole place was very clean, and we would definitely book it again. There is a train track near the property which some people may find off putting. The train passed by 3-4 times during our stay but wasn't an issue for us, we enjoyed our time at Thie My Chree Retreat.

• Jan (6/5): Good potential but improvements needed. - The cottage looks nice and has potential. No electricity overnight due to a storm; despite this, the weather was hot and humid, making the stay uncomfortable. Wi-Fi is not provided. Frequent and disruptive train noise from nearby tracks. Cleanliness and general maintenance need improvement. Basic kitchen items such as salt and pepper were not supplied. At checkout, there was only one reception staff member, who advised she was not responsible for the cottage and was unable to assist. Follow-up required several calls and some waiting time. Staff have since contacted us and advised that amends have been offered, pending my email to the owner. The security deposit (taken over the phone due to limited reception opening hours) is currently being processed and is expected to be returned within seven days. Overall, the stay fell short of expectations and would benefit from several improvements.

• Graham (8/5): Chilled relaxing stay. - Great location, friendly hosts. Enjoyed a relaxing stay. No WiFi. We were overseas visitors which meant we had to purchase extra data to use in Australia.

• Amy (8/5): We really enjoyed our stay, it was perfect for what we needed, which was somewhere to relax inbetween our explorations o - It was exactly what we needed for an overnight stay but also would have been perfect for longer. The size was perfect for our family of 4 which includes two children under 8. The area surrounding the unit didn’t seem cared for. There was some construction happening which the owners had put up a notice about though and it didn’t affect our stay.

• Elizabeth (10/5): Relaxing and peaceful stay, will definitely be back - Gorgeous little cabin with everything you need in a lovely and peaceful location; away from all the hustle and bustle of the city but still close to everything. Kids loved being able to pat the horses and goats. Hosts were amazing and always available for any communication. Definitely looking forward to staying again when we’re next in Perth.

• Dannielle (9/5): - These are really nice cottages in a nice location. Cottages are modern and clean. Great spa style bath. The cottage had lots of information about the local area including tourist maps. It was really cold when we stayed, and the heating worked well plus we found extra blankets to utilize. There are a lot of signs and notices in the cabin asking you to not do things or rules/updates. I understand the need to inform guests of rules like no smoking and moving furniture, but they were on the fridge, benchtops and wall.

• Colette (6/5): I think you have two great properties situated in a good location but attention to deep cleaning and the points I have r - Good location. Nice view of Perth Hills. Comfortable beds with electric blankets. Heating was good. Bathroom was clean. All the notices on the fridge were excessive to the point of being unwelcoming. There was a lack of good quality cookware, mismatched cutlery. There were cobwebs in the microwave nook, attached to the chopping boards. The right back ring didn’t work. The broom in the bedroom wardrobe, which I used to clean all the cobwebs off the patio windows before we could enjoy sitting out there, hadn’t been emptied of a mass of fluff. There was a small toy under the tv unit and a clump of fluff and plastic wrapping behind the red foot stool. The wooden blind in the bedroom fell out if it’s fixing onto the floor as it is not fixed in with screws (quite dangerous and could have hit me when it fell). The blind on the back verandah is broken, rendering the use of the spa bath unusable- this was disappointing. I think the property needs a deep clean.

The gardens are lush, the hosts are warm, and the vibe is pure magic. It’s the kind of place where you lose track of time (in the best way). Perfect for a soul reset, romantic getaway, or solo recharge. Highly recommend if you need nature, stillness, and a break from the chaos. I use this as a gift to myself after a long swing out at sea. Also is a cattery if you need a place to leave your feline friend. Nothing to dislike

A nice city escape Railway tracks are right beside the property so extremely loud all through the night, and would shake the cottage. Also beside a road which was very loud too. Very creaky floors. Bathroom could have been cleaner, grime in the shower, pubes on toilet bowl, and no body wash in shower.

The toilet seat always lifted if you didn't sit on it properly. There weren't quite enough amenities for example, a few more cutlery items, pans, condiments (sauces and spreads)

• John (8/5): Don't hesitate book it. - It's a really nice unit, with a homely feel. Not all prim and proper, just a nice unit on a property, which makes you relaxed and rested. Great for easy access to all the local producers and providers of service. Will definitely stay again.

Skid marks in the bowl and pee on the seat. We left the entire cottage cleaner than we found it. Our morning breakfast on the porch was interrupted by someone on the road hurling abuse at “white c u next Tuesdays”. Apparently this guy doesn’t like the owners of the property for whatever reason that had nothing to do with us.
