• Jorge (9/5): This was a great place and we’ll be definitely going back! - The location was great. Walking distance to Kukulcán Avenue which is the main road to the hotel zone and to the city. Staff was friendly and the property was spacious with everything we needed for our stay. Nothing bad really but the main bedroom is on the third floor and it could be hard to get to for someone with reduced mobility. We had no issues with this.

• Chelsea (9/5): Great spacious villa. A definite keeper! - Large, spacious with good basic amenities. It was just a little more than one day trip so we didn’t really enjoy. But the villa has clean drinking water. Overall we really like the villa. Evidently toilet paper is not allowed to be flushed in toilet. AC in one of the bedrooms was not working. Not on the beach.

• Alexandra (8/5): Great location and spacious, but very basic accommodations - This villa had some really great things going for it: awesome, safe, quiet location, lovely pool outside, gated with security, etc. We had a very kind and helpful hostess, lots of space for a family holiday, etc. Overall, I can recommend this place. We did, however, find the place to be a bit run down. In the master bathroom, the towel hanger fell off the wall the first time I used the towel. The whole place is in very serious need of a fresh paint job— the walls are stained and grubby. The bedding in the master bedroom had large holes in it. The kitchen has cookware but no frying pan. We had to cook bacon in an enormous pot. On our 4th day, we asked for fresh towels, but there were none. In 36 years of life, I’ve never stayed at a place that could’ve give me fresh towels when I asked for them. It was so odd! The hostess very kindly offered to come the next day to wash the existing towels for us, but because we wanted our privacy, we said no. We were really surprised that in a place that can sleep 8, there was only one set of towels! We also ran out of toilet paper by day 4 and had to buy more, and the a/c unit in one bedroom was broken. Only the fan worked— not the cooling part. We also were under the impression that the place had 4 full bathrooms, but it actually has only 3. The little bathroom on the first floor is just a toilet. Overall, the price was great and we had a good time, but this place could go from an 8 to a 10 if it had about $500 worth of paint, more towels, etc. It has SO MUCH potential, but it’s being a bit neglected.
