- Belinda (1/5): Bad - The property was in a very unsatisfactory state when we arrived early in the morning, having travelled from Australia. All mattresses were stained, embedded with body hair and one mattress had a significant hole. No mattress protectors on beds. Kitchen pots that were unusable and with caked on food. Insufficient drinking glasses and cutlery. Living room with a very dirty and stained rug. Stained, discoloured and poor quality linen. Dishwasher not working properly. Dirty upholstered bedheads and a very suspicious looking stain on the display bed cushion. Ceiling in the main bedroom leaked all over the bedside table, lamp and the side of the bed. Ceiling paint fell to the floor from the leak. No hot water in the main bathroom shower. We approached the agent/host straight away when we arrived and he had cleaners do a deep clean the following day and replace some kitchenware. We had to vacate the apartment for that. The agent/host was reasonably helpful and did his best but some matters could not be attended to and we were stuck with the mattresses! After the stay we emailed the owner, setting out our complaint. There was no response to our complaint. A very disappointing experience as we paid about AUD$9400 for the accomodation for 7 nights.
- Saeed (6/5): Despite the apartment's excellent location and stylish decor, the lack of air conditioning and essential amenities, - The apartment's location was excellent, offering easy access to key attractions and amenities nearby, making it incredibly convenient. The security entrance provided a strong sense of safety, ensuring a peaceful stay. The host was friendly and responsive, making the check-in process smooth and communication effortless. Inside, the decor was stylish and thoughtfully curated, with modern touches that added a sense of luxury. The bright, airy atmosphere created a welcoming and comfortable space, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. One of the major drawbacks of the apartment was the lack of air conditioning in the living room and two of the bedrooms, with only one room having AC. Unfortunately, during a heatwave in London, this made sleeping quite uncomfortable, as the apartment became quite warm. Additionally, the apartment was missing essential amenities like a vacuum cleaner, which was inconvenient, and I ended up purchasing one myself just to keep the place clean. The cleaning service was also unreasonably expensive, making it impractical to hire them for tasks like changing bedsheets or general cleaning. Had the service been more reasonably priced, I would have opted for cleaning assistance once or twice a week, but instead, I had to manage everything on my own.
