Guest Reviews
- Laura (9/5): Really lovely host, excellent communication throughout, fab location - Loved the location and convenience of the apartment. Host was exceptional and communication excellent. Kitchen equipment and space great and air conditioning fab. A few more mirrors would be ideal and a blind or curtains in the main bedroom would be a good idea.
- Liza (10/5): Exceptional -
- Whelan (10/5): A great apartment close to centre - Beautiful, bright, clean, spacious, modern apartment in a very quiet residential area.
Lovely old building with an excellent host
- Dutskinov (10/5): Perfect! - The place exceeded our expectations—it was simply amazing! Roberta, our host, was incredibly kind and always quick to respond whenever we had questions or needed anything. The apartment had everything a family could need, and everything felt brand new and very comfortable. The location was also great, easily accessible by car, which made getting around hassle-free. A fantastic bonus was the washing machine, complete with all the essentials—a real convenience during our stay. We’re already looking forward to coming back! There’s also a Carrefour supermarket conveniently nearby.
- Nicole (9/5): Superb - Very convenient location, nice apartment with great view, friendly and communicative property owner, easy check-in and check-out Minor inconvenience:
The shower is built in such a way that water very easily gets onto the bathroom floor, leaving it wet. Also, some door handles were loose and fell off when just pulling on them to close the doors.
- Dmitry (10/5): Awesome vocation with family… - The property has new and fresh design with the new equipment. It’s located in a quiet neighborhood, about 7 minutes walking away the Garbatella Metro station and 20 minutes away from Roma Ostiense train station. Roberta was kind and very helpful. Everything was awesome but the lack of the wine glasses).
- Mary (10/5): The apartment crowned my holiday to perfection. It is not photoshopped, lt is as shown. - I liked that it was very clean, cool and airy. It has everything to make you stay comfortable. The kitchen is compact with all big and small items that a complete setup kitchen has. Bed linens are so comfortable and inviting. The apartment is greatly modernized. Location is perfect for public transportation. Nothing to complain about.
- Evita (9/5): Superb - We came to Rome with a bunch of friends. We stayed in this apartment for 4 nights. Considering that we like to walk a lot, the location was good. We rarely use public transport, but that is available within a 10 min walk. Supermarkets, coffee shops, and bars are also around. The best advantage of this apartment is the balcony, we were able to enjoy the weather. The host was approachable and available if we had any questions. The apartment was clean and the beds were comfy. It would be super nice if we would have wine glasses
- Sylwia (9/5): Superb - Very good location No air conditioning
- Alexandra (10/5): Live like a local - Staying at the Marchese del Grillo apartment was a great experience. I know this area, Garbatella, very well and this is a wonderful place to stay if you want to live more like a local. The metro Line B is a 15-minute walk away and it's easy to get to the Cristoforo Colombo on foot to catch buses. There are lots of supermarkets and excellent restaurants in the area. You may want to do your own walking tour of the "Lotti", also called Rome's Garden Quarter. Entry to the building and apartment is all done by smartphone. You'll find a door key for the main entrance once you're inside, but be aware that apartment entry is only accomplished by smartphone. The apartment is newly-renovated and has a fantastic balcony overlooking one of the Garbatella roundabouts. There's an elevator in the lobby but there are about 6 steps to climb at the front entrance to get inside. I was the first guest in this new renovation, so a few basics like hand soap, dish-washing liquid and tea towels were missing. This was an oversight and shouldn't be an issue for anyone else. The neighbourhood is very quiet but you can sometimes hear noise from inside the building, especially from people on the stairs.
