- John (4/5): Great location, poor quality apartment - The location of the apartment was great. There is lots of very cute cafes and places to eat.
The apartment is situated right next to a lift which was easy for access and the train right next door so easy to get around.
The beds were comfortable and there is a great outdoor space to entertain when the weather is good. The process of checking in was a nightmare, from the app prior to check in, to the key drop off store being closed and having to shove them under the door.
Upon arrival 'air con' was only in the lounge room and one of bedroom windows didn't even open past 3cm- due to a pipe directly blocking the window, making it incredibly warm and uncomfortable - we had to request a fan which was luckily brought by the apartment hosts. The apartment needs maintenance including bath towel handles about to fall off walls and toilet paper holders loose.
The inventory check was not completed prior and as a result included:
- There was no hair dryer- this has to be bought by the host
- There was hair in the bathroom draw upon arrival
- there was no rinse aid for the dishwasher- which meant it would not turns on
- the key did not have the garage button attached as per the instructions supplied
- the aircon had dead batteries, to which we had to fork out $17 to replace- incredibly annoying going out of our way
Given the significant price we paid for this- in excess of $500 a night - I would say it is not value for money
