• Marianne (8/5): Comfortable and quiet most of the time. - Space, well stocked and very comfortable. No spare toilet rolls, no face washers - downstairs bathroom a little inconvenient in the middle of the night but overall nothing was terrible. TV was very hard to negotiate for free to air channels.

• Kiera A (9/5): A quiet, comfortable and peaceful retreat. - I really liked the location, the hospitality and the comfortability. Ease of access and use of utilities made the stay easier and much more manageable/convenient. I also liked the folder/booklet provided. It gave us much need-to-know information. The owners are very lovely, and well mannered. Contact was very easy, and communication was fantastic. There are only two things to recommend as suggestions. 1. A list of all supplies so, if there is an issue ie, an item used so it needs replacing, then it all can be replaced easily via brand name etc. 2. Linen- Linen was provided. One tea towel, Five towels, One bath mat and One Hand towel. My suggestion would be, ease of access to another set. For people who wish to have a lengthy stay. I like to wash towels and such, so a second set to swap out when necessary would help immensely.

• Tamara (10/5): - Wonderful cottage snd would highly recommend to others - very comfortable and had all the essentials for a very pleasant stay. Dog-friendly space and great location. Excellent communication from hosts throughout the stay.
• Shu-Hsun (9/5): Great location and a very responsive host - The location is excellent — very convenient and close to the river and beach. The owner was also very responsive and quick to help whenever we had questions or needed assistance There was no hot water on the first day, which made it difficult, especially with children. The issue was explained and improved afterward, but it would be better if this could be avoided for future guests.

• Tanya (9/5): Lovely house near the river in a peaceful location - Lovely house with a nice river view from the deck. Peaceful location. Great kitchen, clean and comfortable. Couldn't get a decent coffee anywhere in Shoalhaven and besides the clubs there's nothing open on Mon and Tues.
• Minette (9/5): Peaceful spot for a quiet few days - Entire house very well equipped home. Neat and clean. Walking distance to boat ramp. Can walk along water-edge or foot path . Some water views. Very quiet location. Lovely deck for relaxing and also a BBQ . Fully fenced, safe parking and pet friendly. Not far from Berry. For ourselves not a problem but visitors should just be aware of steps to the front door.

• Venus (8/5): Good location for kids to run around and ride their bikes. - Nice location close to two boat ramps on a quiet street. Kids could run around Hot water ran out after three showers. Host didn’t respond to text messages.
• Andrew (9/5): Hidden gem. Highly recommend. - Karen was extremely helpful, especially for accommodating our slightly early check-in request. Given the circumstance she also offered us late check-out, which made the process of wrapping up the weekend particularly easy and smooth. Would def choose to stay at hers if we're in Jervis Bay region again. Nothing really. If have to nitpick, TV could have benefited from an upgrade. It's not hooked to an antenna, so we pretty much relied on our own entertainment accounts to cast on the screen as is. Since we're subscribed to a few such Apps on our phones, it was fine for us.

• Catherine (9/5): Superb - Lovely house - the photos don't do it justice. Extremely clean and well looked after. Beautiful location. Very well equipped, kitchen with lots of thoughtful details such as cooking oil, condiments, foil, baking paper etc. Loved that we could bring our dogs. The yard is fully fenced and secure. There were even dog bowls available. Surfing beaches are a short drive from the house. Dog friendly beaches available in the area. Minor areas that could be better but weren't a big deal... The dishwasher is a bit small for a family of 4. The bathroom lock doesn't work very well. 🙈

• Alanna (10/5): You won’t regret booking in with bungalow by the river - The communication from Karen, and the kind gesture for allowing us to check in earlier as we had 1hr 30 mins to spare. The bungalow by the river was so easy to check in, but so hard to check out as we didn’t want to leave. We loved the patio lounges overlooking the shoalhaven river. Inside was absolutely beautiful. Cannot complain. The host makes it very comfortable for anyone staying. Very grateful.

Delightfully well catered for in every way. Fully fenced yard for dogs and lovely whisper quiet location near the river . Very friendly and helpful hosts . Hard to fault. A little far to walk to surf beach - but I knew that at time of booking .

• Krystal (10/5): Exceptional - We loved everything about this place, it was so beautifully decorated in a coastal style, the house has everything you would need, we had family over for dinner one night and there was plenty of room for 6 of us and everything you would need for a table for six. I loved the coffee pod machine so much that I am now going to buy one as it was so beautiful to wake up every day to an Expresso coffee. The beautiful deck had stunning views, it was so lovely to sit out there and watch the river. We were even lucky enough to get a visit from some beautiful local birds. The host Karen is amazing, let us know we could contact her at anytime if we needed anything. Omg I fell in love with this place, this is the best home away from home I've ever stayed in. And I've stayed in many. Thank you, highly recommend and will be back ❤️ That we couldn't stay there forever 😭

From the fully equipped kitchen, the cozy living space and great sized bedrooms every detail was thoughtfully curated to enhance the guest experience. Location-wise, this gem is nestled in a prime spot. Close enough to the beach, yet tucked away in a serene neighborhood, offering a peaceful retreat. The property management was responsive and accommodating. There was nothing I did not like about this property.

Comfortable beds, and everything needed for a holiday were at hand. Modern and well-appointed kitchen and.bathroom, large open-plan living area, balconies and three bedrooms with plenty of storage made Bungalow by the River a perfect retreat. The fire pit was great to sit around on a fine evening.
