- Claire & Wayne (10/5): Put it on your bucket list 🦁 - Amazing - well run program, great experience of the zoo on the night time tour. We loved the morning experience too. Food and drinks are plentiful throughout, our tent was comfortable with a magnificent view and the electric blankets were great. Staff were lovely and knowledgeable. Highly recommended. We didn't receive any information from Taronga regarding the booking, such as where to park, the itinerary etc. We called for this. Not a big deal but would be appreciated by some families I would say.

- cheryl (10/5): Excellent opportunity to get up and personal with these beautiful animals and was in ore of the staf - It was an amazing location. The staff all of them were professional and very knowledgeable. The animals were beautiful and beautifully looked after. Everything was run perfectly. I would have liked more interaction with the animals. I would have had more interaction with the animals. I would have loved the opportunity to touch a snake. I thought the giraffes were amazing. I would of course liked the lions to have woken me up in the morning with their roaring. My friend who had been before me told me of their roar. Of course that didn't happen. maybe a recording although false could me heard for people who wanted to hear them. such a wonderful experience. thank you very much. I also would have loved to see the elephants but they had been moved to the zoo in Adelaide.
- Emma (10/5): -
- William (10/5): It was simply amazing. We can’t recommend it enough! - The animal experience as well as the input of the workers elevated the experience the food was swell too Nothing it was perfect, only the weather could have we improved
- David (8/5): Great experience would of been better if more sociable - Views Felt like I was on a timer to finish my wine and drinks also cheese board and snacks not topped up
- Bronwyn (10/5): - Everything Nothing
- Gillian (5/5): - The zoo is in the most amazing location. Views of the Harbour Bridge and Opera house are spectacular.
The food was very good.0 Unfortunately, we had pretty lousy weather and many animals could not be seen. No effort was made to cater for this.
The guides also spoke too long, and people became bored. The staff did not read the situation. They also did not ater for slow walkers.

- Jessica (9/5): incredible experience, one to remember! - the food was incredible and the staff were amazing!! All of it was above our expectations. Roaming the zoo after hours was perfect, so much room and time to see everything. bonus was feeding the giraffes!! there was a festival across the harbour that we could hear until 11pm. It slightly ruined the serenity!
- Alora (10/5): A once in a lifetime experience! - The Zoo staff were beyond incredible, you cannot fault their knowledge, and hospitality. Great experience, we enjoyed every minute! Dinner was really good - lots of dairy and gluten free options. Tents were awesome, even with torrential rain we were very dry. Unfortunately it was torrentially raining for us, but the staff did their best to still make it incredible. Breakfast was a little bit of a let down, as unlike dinner, there were hardly any dairy or gluten free options.
- Belinda (10/5): Phenomenal. Highly recommended and for a great cause. - Loved every little piece of this package.
Loved our hosts Amy Ryder and Matt. All were entirely passionate about animals. Loved being a part of Matt’s welfare notes on the animals We loved it but it was a little exhausting with barre time between breaks. For example breakfast was cut short. 25 mins was a bit short for me for Brekky. Though I understand I think something didn’t go according to plan. Also we somehow missed cheesecake by the time we got to desert. Wish I had more time to soak up the accommodation experience itself. Didn’t want to miss out on a thing.

- Melissa (10/5): - Great experience. Bed a little uncomfortable but the overall experience was amazing. Staff were amazing. One of our daughters is neurodivergent and they weee very accommodating. Only thing i could possibly fault was the bed.
- Sarah (10/5): I want to be a zoo keeper!! - Incredible location with stunning views of the city Nothing

- helen (10/5): -
- Nigel (10/5): - This was a special place to visit and to experience. I thought camping and catering would be pretty basic but this was not the case.
Really very very good. And the staff were excellent Such a minor point but it was difficult to plug in our phone charger. Not worth 1% off our enjoyment

- Elisabeth (10/5): A fabulous experience. - Everything about this Birthday treat was fabulous. We really enjoyed the animal experiences and hearing them "talking" to each other overnight. Supper was superb. Fantastic to have the next day to wander around the zoo. Dinner was average and breakfast a little better.
- yahalom (10/5): It's like a zoo trip but turned up to 11 - The animals, the view, the food, the staff.
This was genuinely a really fun experience. It was basically an extended zoo trip combined with a weekend getaway.
Seeing the animals up close as our own group was amazing. Especially the bear, the seal, the lion and the giraffe feeding. Loved how cozy the glamping but felt too.
The staff were super super awesome too. They were so kind to our requests, helped us grab something from our car, grabbed us extra blankets, gave us a chat about the animals when we wanted. I wish the late night animal segment was a bit longer. I understand early mornings but still the late night segment was awesome so I basically wanted more of it.
- Mark (10/5): Highly recommend this amazing experience. The zoo staff are amazing, very knowledgeable and passionate. The views from t - Great experience walking around the zoo after hours with the amazing zoo staff Tent bed was a little uncomfortable
- Aaron (9/5): Fantastic experience, exceptional staff. - Guides and tour were fantastic! Accommodation was basic but you're not there for that.
- Alison (5/5): -
- Wendy (5/5): Hospitality was good … what we were shown wasminal but the talks were far too lengthy - Long long talks delving into far too much detail .. boring for us and fidgety for kids who became restless or disinterested. No microphone and most people couldnt hear especially those not next to speaker .
As for animals…saw so few .
We were all disappointed by that … the best thing was the views of the city !
- Michelle (10/5): We were all kids during this experience. It was so memorable for the whole family! - We were hesitant at first in re: shared facilities but everything was nice and clean. The tent setup were amazing and you can definitely hear the lions and animals throughout the night which was a cool experience.
Excellent staff - very passionate and knowledgeable.
Delicious buffet - it was more than what was expected! None
- Sarah (10/5): -
- Alison (10/5): amazing family experience we shall talk about forever - Had the most amazing time with my children on this roar and snore experience. all the one to one experiences were exceptional and I thought all the staff very friendly and helpful and passionate. The only downside and out of your control was the 'party boats' ruin the vibe a little
- Susanne (10/5): - Alles
- Craig (10/5): Roarsome - Brilliant experience. Plenty of sounds of nature during the night, monkeys, birds and lions roaring in the morning. Amazing views of the city by day and night.
- Jodi (9/5): Roar and Snore is incredible and we highly recommend. The staff were fantastic and the behind the scenes and outside zoo - We wish we could have had longer at the camp site.
- Lauren (10/5): Well worth it, such a memorable 10th bday present for my son. - The location, the view of the harbour. The tents.
- Hayley (10/5): What a 10/10 experience - from the Taronga experts to the views, it was fantastic. Only issue was that the check in - Property was unbelievable and was exactly as pictured. The beds were comfortable, fan in the room if it got too hot and fluffy blankets for extra warmth. Communal bathrooms were incredibly clean and modern. Loved our visit! NA - it was the best!
- derani (9/5): -
- Michelle (10/5): -
- Andrew & Megan (9/5): - Fantastic experience, staff great, well organised
- Alice (10/5): where bedtime stories are replaced by chimpanzees punch ups and your tent becomes front-row seats to the wildest lullaby - Fabulous experience, friendly staff and so much to do Nil
- Louise (9/5): Fabulous evening with great informative zoo keepers, good food and amazing accommodation . - The staff were lovely and view from the campsite tremendous Not enough time at the campsite
- Elly (10/5): -
- Andrea (10/5): Best night ever for an age!! Such a treat - The guides were amazing. We didn't realise how much we would see in one evening and morning. They were so attentive and very great at guiding our pretty small group. We saw heaps!! Winter wasn't too cold, electric blankets on the bed. Free woolley hat on the beds. Amazing food! We spent most of the next day there also and broke the day up with a ferry ride to Sydney before returning in time for seal show and free flight bird show. The views were amazing. There could be music in dining area - would have been much better than silence. And the hats been given at start rather than bed time. I would have used it as it was a colder night. Everything else was so perfect. We Loved Roar and Snore.
- Jens (10/5): -
- Kim (10/5): Memorable experience with - Wonderful experience to try in your life time. It was very family friendly and accommodating for young families with children as the late night safari was optional. Yes, food was exceptionally fresh, plentiful, healthy and delicious. It was great to go behind the scenes without the crowd and most pleasing was feeding the giraffes up close and personal.
- Victoria (10/5): -
- Goodwin (10/5): This was one of the best experiences of this type we have ever had. Value for money, the staff were - Excellent , so much of it...so yummy ! Nothing, it was fantastic!
- Gavin (10/5): -
- Kenneth (10/5): Unique and wonderful insight into a cool place - Awesome staff made it a night to remember and the food was really good too.
- Phillip (10/5): Amazing, everyone should do this at least once. - Location was stunning, food was great and staff really made the experience. Roger and the team made us feel welcome and the nightwalk through the zoo was awesome. You got to see animals out and about that normally sleep during the day. You could hear the animals during the night made it a real must do experience. Nothing, well run and great staff
- Melanie (10/5): - It was an absolutely great experience, highly recommend it.

Accommodation was good and had a spectacular view , being in the front row of tents. Had a fantastic time and would recommend. The bed could have been a bit more comfortable
- Judith (10/5): Fantastic experience, took our granddaughter, something she will remember for a long time. Every aspect was above expect - Clean and modern facilities, great outlook. Nothing
- Helen (10/5): Exceptional -
- Falzon (10/5): Can't wait to do it again! - The whole experience was amazing and the staff were informative, welcoming and so passionate about what they do.
- Nick (9/5): Superb - All of it. Could have introduced the group to more animals in the early stages at the research centre. We saw a spotted python and a shingleback. We could have been exposed to 6 or so creatures.
- Julie (10/5): Exceptional - The activities. Excellently organised. Would have appreciated to be able to check into the site earlier than 5.30 and spend some time relaxing and enjoying the view prior to the night walk. A 2pm-3pm check in would have enhanced the stay
