Guest Reviews
- Akinome (10/5): Exceptional -
- Simone (9/5): Superb - The room was cosy and in a good palace
The bathroom had a proper size and it was very good The position was quite far from the city center
The room policy was changing the room not all the days
- Kwok (4/5): Disappointing, pricey, not value for money - The location is close to most attractions and has good transport connections. First and foremost, the water was not warm enough when I took a shower! Second, the door had to be locked with a key inside the room. However, in case of fire, this might pose a danger to the trapped guests if they could not find the key! Besides, the host did not provide guests with tea bags or coffee sachets, not to mention breakfasts or meals. Lastly, the host did not communicate clearly to guests that there is a staffed reception counter at their premises. Had we learnt about this, we would have left our luggage as soon as we arrived in the morning instead of waiting till the check-in time which is between 2 pm and 11:30 pm.

- Andreas (1/5): Sleepless nights in Prague - Location I advise not to book his hotel if you expect to get some sleep.
The other guests in the hotel were partying way past 5 o'clock in the morning. We complained about this issue to the hotel for 4 times. A request for a quieter room was ignored. After the second complaint I announced that I will request a refund if the noise continues. It did continue. On the following night the other guests were partying the whole night through.
When I requested the refund I was called a scammer. I have never met such unprofessionalism before.
As I was denied the refund my lawyer will now take care of it.
Aside from the noisy guests there was additional noise from the traffic. The noise from the cars was bearable with the windows closed, but the rumble of the trams is loud.
The mattress was worn and uncomfortable. The bed frame was missing a piece, increasing the discomfort.
There was no hot water on the third day of our stay.
The toilet seat was stained yellow.
There was no heating in the bathroom, so it was always cold in there. There was an electric towel rack but it didn't work.
The room had a kitchenette, which wasn't advertised in the description, but you could see it in the photos. It had a sink, cooktop, electric kettle and fridge. Aside from the fridge and kettle it was pretty useless, as there were no pots, pans, cutlery or other utensils. There were two cups and teaspoons, so you could've made yourself some tea.
For the check-in we were supposed to go to a different address, about 5 minutes away, to pick up the room keys. We went there and queued up at the reception for 15 minutes just to be told to check-in at the address of the room directly. Great waste of time.
- Krastiņš (10/5): Exceptional - Friendly staff, everything was clean Nothing to complain about
- Winberg (8/5): The room was nice and in a good location, happy to return. - No breakfast at the hotel, suggest a local (non turistic for better price) cafe, of which there are plenty. According to the booking confirmation, the keys were to be picked up at a different address. Confusing, as the reception is always manned.
- Michael (10/5): Exceptional -
- Bogumił (8/5): Well-located and very good quality for the money - I'm very happy with my stay at Ječná rooms – all major tourist attractions are within walking distance, the staff is around to help 24/7, and the room was spacious, modern, comfortable and well-equipped (very useful kitchen annex). Very good value for money! Just two small tips:
1. The instructions I got in an automated email from Booking.com about my reservation said that I had to pick up the keys from your office at Legerova Street – that was not necessary and I needn't have gone there first, as the keys are available at the 24/7 reception at Ječná. Not a problem of course, as this is close by, but you can consider updating the instructions.
2. There was no information on Booking.com about how well the rooms is equipped – I thought there would be no fridge, electric kettle, microwave, while all of that was available, which is great and it's worth highlighting in the room descriptions!
- Petr (3/5): I prefer different experiences. - Personal down-to-earth ( but they could not do too much) TV - no czech channels found, no common channels but russian ones.
Escutcheons on the room doors loosened - without screws.
Shower working badly spraying all water to the wall by hole, central light above table not working, doors to neighbour hotel room inside our room closed but key hole open.
After room changed we got another one with door inside again leading to other hotel room , key hole open. TV or remote was not working. Shower head unbelievable high with poor water pressure... could not take proper shower. Nightmare.
- Ma (8/5): Very good - It wasn’t too far from the center. Beds wasn’t too comfortable
- Agnes (8/5): Very good -
