• Anthea Müller (10/5): Super schön! Sehr gut geschlafen! - Super schöne Gartenanlage mit kleinem Rundweg in den Dschungelwald. Nachts ist da ordentlich was los! Leider waren im mai keine tucane zu sehen. Die sind wohl wegen der Paarungszeit irgendwo in den Wäldern unterwegs. Der Besitzer ist Kanadier und hat ein tolles Frühstück gemacht. Sogar mit selbst gemachten Joghurt und granola. Sehr zu empfehlen! Wir haben uns wahnsinnig wohl gefühlt. Achja und der Pool ist für alle da! Das ist auf booking etwas falsch kommuniziert und der Besitzer kann es leider nicht ändern.

• Lisa Elise (10/5): Dit is het perfect verblijf! - Dit is echt TOP!! Alles is perfect geregeld en aan alles is gedacht. Zelfs aan de kleinste details in je huisje (opladers mobiele telefoon en electra op nachtkastjes). Mooie douche en goede bedden. Alles zo netjes en schoon! Echt geweldig. Super aardige eigenaren die hard werken. Prima ontbijt met verse sap en fruit. De tuin is heel mooi en veel vogels. Deze lodge verdient 10 sterren!! Geweldig! Bedankt voor een voortreffelijk verblijf! Voor ons tot nu toe het beste verblijf in Costa Rica. In de omgeving is ook veel te doen. Je kan je hier goed 4 of 5 dagen vermaken.

• Keith (10/5): Tolle Gastgeber und Bungalows, die mit viel Liebe eingerichtet wurden. - Eine kleine, sehr individuelle Anlage, bei der man das Engagement und die Liebe zum Detail der Gastgeber jeden Tag spürt. Die kleinen Bungalows sind wunderbar eingerichtet, der Frühstücksbereich am Pool ist schön, der Garten mit viel Liebe angelegt. Ein Ort zum Wohlfühlen. Die Gastgeber haben uns tolle Tipps für Ausflüge und Restaurants gegeben. Die Nähe zum Nationalpark ist prima. Die Bungalows sind sehr ruhig und weit genug weg von der Straße. Das Frühstück war abwechslungsreich. Beim Schwimmen im Pool konnte man die Vögel beobachten.

• Daniela (10/5): Weils so schön war sind wir länger geblieben:-) - Die Bungalows sind gut durchdacht - auf kleinem Raum findet alles Platz, das Bett ist bequem, es gibt einen Kühlschrank, das Bad ist großzügig und vor allem sind die Fenster alle mit Fliegengitter versehen so dass man perfekt durchlüften kann. Der Pool und Gemeinschaftsbereich sind schön aufgeräumt, es gibt verschiedene Sitz-&Liegebereiche, Spielmöglichkeiten für Kinder und Erwachsene, ein kleiner Spazierweg durch den Garten und Wald zum Fluss und ein wunderschönes Holzdeck mit Hängematten im Schatten zum Lesen, Yoga oder Meditieren. Die Gastgeber sind sehr aufmerksam ohne aufdringlich zu sein und bereiten abwechslungsreiches Frühstück mit tollen selbstgemachten Zutaten. Nichts.

• Sylvie (8/5): Zeker een aanrader om Rio Celeste te verkennen - Mooie tuin met vier verschillende huisjes. Heel vriendelijk en hulpvaardig. Lekker ontbijt. De kleinere huisjes zijn mss iets te klein als je er meerdere nachten verblijft want niet veel plaats voor bagage.

The beds and pillows are exceptionally comfortable, making it easy to relax and unwind. The owners are absolutely wonderful—friendly, attentive, and always willing to go the extra mile to accommodate any request. Our breakfasts were lovingly prepared by the owner, and her French pancakes were an absolute delight. Villa el Tucan is a perfect blend of comfort, charm, and personal attention. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would recommend it 100% to anyone looking for a peaceful, memorable getaway.

L’accueil était vraiment remarquable et le personnel très attentionné. La chambre était charmante, parfaitement propre et décorée avec goût, créant une atmosphère agréable et cosy. L’établissement est très convivial et composé de seulement quatre petites maisonnettes, ce qui fait que nous sommes très peu nombreux sur place. Cela apporte une véritable sensation de calme et de sérénité. L’environnement est également très agréable, entouré de nature, avec le doux bruit des oiseaux en fond. Nous regrettons de ne pas être resté plus longtemps. Je recommande cet endroit sans hésitation.

L’aménagement du site est exeptiomnelet les maisonnettes sont extrêmement bien équipées. Les hôtes ont pensé à une foule de détails pratiques. TOUT était parfait. Comme début de voyage la barre est haute pour les autres établissements que nous avons réservés.

On a regretté de ne pas avoir réservé plus de nuits. Rien !

Daarnaast liggen de vier luxe huisjes op een prachtig aangelegd stuk grond met een zwembad en bistro, waar ‘s ochtends een heerlijk ontbijt wordt geserveerd. Voor een klein bedrag kun je ‘s avonds mee eten met wat Stephanes vrouw kookt. Niks. Dit was onze fijnste accommodatie in drie weken Costa Rica.

• Keplinger-Derflinger (10/5): - Die absolute Ruhelage war hervorragend. Die weitläufige Anlage ist sehr liebevoll gestaltet. Die Zimmer sind komfortabel ausgestattet mit Kühlschrank und TV. Das Frühstück wir besonders gut und man kann Tukane beim Frühstück beobachten. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

• Michaela (8/5): Sehr zuvorkommende, hilfsbereite Gastgeber in netter Anlage. - Die Gastgeber waren sehr hilfsbereit, aufmerksam und haben sich sehr viel Mühe gegeben, um uns in allen Belangen zu unterstützen. Morgens konnten wir gut Vögel beobachten, da eine Futterstation installiert war. Insgesamt war die Anlage sehr angenehm und gepflegt. Unser Zimmer war sehr beengt, es gab kein Regal und keinen Schrank. Für einen Tag macht es nichts, aus dem Koffer zu leben, für mehrere Tage: geht so. Auch das Bett mit Matratze waren schmal.
• Saulius (10/5): Our family had a great stay - Cabins were very nice, surrounded by nature. There are hiking trails on the property and many beautiful birds. The owner Stefan was very nice and did everything to accomodate us. Food was great with breakfast included and dinner options available.

When we arrived we were given a warm welcome by the owners, they were enormously kind and helpful with tips for food and things to do throughout our stay. The rooms were beautiful, clean, new and had everything you need. Beds were comfortable and great bathroom & shower. It’s like a dream! You can enjoy freshly prepared breakfast at the Bistro and watch the birds (toucans guaranteed), or chill there during the day by the pool. We also had dinner one night that the owners prepared fresh, which was great and they were also accommodating our dietary needs. It was also nice that we had our own patio outside our house. There’s a hike near the property to see the waterfall, which is highly recommended. All in all, we loved Villa El Toucan! Nothing, it was perfect and great value for money. We would have stayed longer if we could have!

• Alexander (10/5): - Wunderbar idyllische Unterkunft in Mitten einer ruhigen Gegend in den Bergen von Costa Rica. Es war wunderbar, um auf unserer Rundreise mal ein paar Tage abzuschalten. Obwohl man sehr verbunden ist mit der Natur wird trotzdem sehr auf Sauberkeit und Komfort geachtet, sodass man da keine Abstriche machen muss. Stéphane und Nillareth haben hier mit viel Liebe zum Detail ein kleines Juwel geschaffen und sind fantastische Gastgeber. Bei jedem Frühstück konnten wir Tucane und Singvögel sehen. Einmal kam auch ein Faultier vorbei. Nichts.

• Nikki (10/5): Geweldige plek! - Alles! Het is een prachtig gloednieuw complex met 4 kleurige huisjes in een mooi aangelegde tuin. Inrichting is heel smaakvol. Het zwembad heerlijk met een fijn zitje erbij. De eigenaren is geen moeite teveel om het je naar de zin te maken. Echt helemaal niets!

Nillareth und Stéphane haben uns sehr herzlich empfangen und auf Anfrage für uns eine tolle Tubing-Tour gebucht. Das Frühstück wurde mit viel Liebe zubereitet und schmeckte herrlich. Wir können diese Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

Juste à côté de frog's paradise donc parfait pour la visite de nuit, on peut y aller à pied. Repas et petits déjeuners très bons. Les propriétaires sont charmants et toujours prêts à rendre service.

Dès notre arrivée, Stéphane et Nillareth nous ont accueillis avec une gentillesse incroyable. Le chalet était super propre, confortable, et les espaces communs bien entretenus. L’endroit est vraiment paisible, parfait pour décrocher. On a eu droit à une petite visite du domaine avec Stéphane, qui nous a montré plein de choses intéressantes : bananiers, ananas, chauves-souris, fourmis coupe-feuilles… c’était top ! Et que dire du déjeuner typique costaricain qu’ils nous ont préparé ? Un régal ! On a vraiment senti que tout était fait avec cœur. Merci encore pour ce super moment, on espère sincèrement revenir très bientôt !

La végétation luxuriante, les toucans et nombreux oiseaux, la rivière accessible à la baignade sur le terrain, sans oublier la piscine et l’aire de yoga font de la Villa El Tucán un véritable oasis de détente. Les chalets sont modernes, impeccables et correspondent exactement à la description fournie. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l’intimité du site ainsi que les délicieux déjeuners et soupers cuisinés/servis sur place par les propriétaires (aidés par une aimable employée). L’endroit où ils cuisinent est d’une propreté irréprochable. Pour terminer, nous avons vu les propriétaires travailler sur leur site du matin jusqu’au soir; on voit tout l’amour et l’attention qu’ils portent à leur projet et celà se ressent dès les premiers instants. Ils ont à cœur le confort de leurs clients et s’assurent constamment que ceux-ci aient un séjour à la hauteur de leurs attentes, tout en respectant leur intimité. Nillareth et Stéphane, vous pouvez être fiers de votre réalisation, merci d’avoir rendu notre séjour tellement agréable !

The breakfasts were delicious and varied. Nilla and Stéphane were extremely attentive and friendly and had great recommendations for activities in the Bijuagua region. A real gem.
• Nir (10/5): Exceptional - beautifull jungle walk in the property with access to the beautifull river. Tucans and other birds visited us every morning. two minutes from the villa, is one of the nicest walks to a great watrfall.
• Vibiana (10/5): Extended our stay! - What a GEM! If you want peace and tranquility with amazing customer service this is your place. The cabins are adorable and the landscape is gorgeous! They have a beautifully landscaped trail to a river. We only planned on an 2 night stay but we enjoyed this place so much we extended our stay. The owners thought of everything possible to make this the gem it is! Gracias!

The owners thought of everything to make your stay comfortable and memorable. The cabins are cozy, clean, airy, and they even have screens on their windows and sliding glass door. Great lil porch to relax and enjoy the view. They even added a short walking trail to a refreshing river! They have thought of everything!
