Comfortable bed and a fully equipped kitchen with everything you might need. The only minor issue: check-in is via code. We arrived a few minutes before 3 PM, and the door didn’t open until exactly 3. It would be helpful if this was clearly explained in the instruction

michael (10/5): Fantastic stay in superb accommodation with lovely friendly staff. - The apartment was fantastic. Comfortable and a real home from home. Unfortunately the weather was terrible while we were there but fortunately because the apartment was so comfortable we were very happy to stay in. We went shopping to Lidl as soon as we arrived so were more than happy to cook in the well equipped little kitchen. We also had a couple of lovely lays in because the bed was super comfortable. Also the bathroom and shower were great. We couldn't have wished for a better apartment and Lydia and her team were very polite and accommodating. The weather but that was out of their control!

Marcin (10/5): - To zdecydowanie dobre miejsce na zatrzymanie się w Sofii. Przestronny salon z aneksem plus sypialnia. Cicho. Nowocześnie i wygodnie. Wygodna łazienka, wygodne łóżko, wszystko, co trzeba w kuchni. Przyjemne kosmetyki do mycia. Świetny system otwierania drzwi i klimatyzowania. Usługi sprzątania nienaganne. Brakuje w salonie wygodnych foteli. Poduszki w sypialni mogłyby być lepszej jakości. W łazience brakuje chusteczek papierowych.

Bertolini (10/5): L’hotel di recentissima costruzione si trova poco distante dal centro. Si contraddistingue per ambienti moderni e molto - L’ospitalità, l’ambiente e la cura dei dettagli
gb (8/5): Hotel di design che mostra il volto della Bulgaria contemporanea. - Dimensioni della stanza, cucina completa, design, pulizia, disponibilità per effettuare il check in anticipo. Presenza di una galleria d'arte nella hall; progetto interessante che proietta la Bulgaria nel futuro. L'impianto di climatizzazione è geotermico quindi la regolazione della temperatura è pressoché impossibile (ci vogliono ore e la regolazione è 21-25 gradi tramite Wi-Fi e QR code), avevamo freddo. L'edificio si trova in un quartiere in fase di riqualificazione che presenta diversi palazzi disabitati e da ristrutturare.
Werner (10/5): Sehr schönes Hotel mit viel Kunst, kommen gerne wieder, hoffen dann auf offenes Abend-Restaurant - Die Lage ist optimal in der Stadt aber in der Straße ist es das einzige wirklich schöne Haus. Daher nicht volle Punktzahl. Vom Hotel aus kann man die Altstadt fußläufig erreichen. Das Hotel sticht im Viertel heraus und ist architektonisch schön gemacht. Im Ganzen Hotel wurde auf Kunstintegration Wert gelegt. Unser Appartement war sehr geräumig und geschmackvoll, modern eingerichtet. Die Bilder spiegeln die Realität wieder. Ruhig gelegen, Appartement in schöner und ausreichender Größe. Leider war das Hausinterne Restaurant wegen Renovierungsarbeiten geschlossen. Bezogen auf das Hotel hätten wir uns vorstellen können dort in schönem Ambiente Essen zu können. Die High Heels der Frau wurden daher im Zimmer gelassen und wir mussten einen etwas weiteren Weg auf uns für´s Dinner auf uns nehmen.

It was spotless, everything was exactly as described and the host was very friendly making us feel like home. The location is very close to the city centre. We will definitely visit again!

Hotel could be offer warmer welcome with ordinary thoughtful things like a sma - The hotel’s restaurant is one of the highlights of our trip to Bulgaria. One of the best food I’ve tasted(we also dine Michelin restaurants when we can). The staff & chef are also friendly& approachable. We expected more value from the price we paid. Hospitality is not just the decor and architecture- which were both amazing (place look liked a modern art museum and materials used were top notch); it is also the little things that make you feel welcome after a long drive- like more bottles of water (there was only one); a welcome snack (which we had all over Bulgaria but we paid 1/3 of the price).

We could hear everything from the lobby and office space despite being on the third floor. We were constantly woken up at night by the noise. The electronic shutters and air conditioning didn't work so the room was wam and dark. There is no person onsite so only had help via Whatsapp and they were unable to help with the AC.

Ishaq (10/5): A gem in Sofia - I rarely review my stays, however, DOT Sofia truly deserves one. An apart-hotel strategically located close to a tram stop, a local market, and a super market housed in a historical building. The rooms are spacious, comfortable and super clean, with a well equipped kitchen for days where you simply want to cook with fresh ingredients. What elevated the experience was the tastefully curated artworks, the culinary offerings, and beautiful architecture. If I were to make my way back to Sofia, the DOT would certainly be my go to stay as Lydia’s hospitality was exceptional.

Cornelia (10/5): Wonderful stay in Sofia - This property is in a building that also hosts a restaurant and art gallery so really minimalist and chic. Located near the Ladies’ market and Serdica metro station, it’s a 15 min stroll to the downtown sights. Lydia our host was exceptional and made us feel really welcome and well taken care of! Shower area leaks if you take a longer shower but this is a minor point.

Phill (10/5): Trendy and interesting option in Sofia - DOT is just super cool - there is great art everywhere from the lobby to the stairs and even out the window. The room was spacious and very comfortable. The on-site restaurant was delicious for dinner. The location is walking distance to most major tourist sites in Sofia, and there's a tram stop just around the corner to go further afield (and the metro is just a few minutes walk). A+ all around and I'll definitely stay here again when I'm next visiting Sofia! I liked everything!
Daria (8/5): Very beautiful place in Sofia - A very beautiful hotel with comfortable rooms and a good bed. There’s also a decent restaurant downstairs. Good concierge service. Nice hideaway in Sofia a pity there is no spa There was no breakfast, even though it was mentioned at the time of booking. There are also no good places for breakfast or dinner nearby (min 10 minutes away). On the first night, the room wasn’t properly cleaned — only the bed was made. Planes fly over the hotel, so it can be quite noisy.

We were greater by the hotel manager herself, which impressed me as the hotel business owner myself. Tye system of metal coverings of the windows is incredible. Tye hotel is heated with the geothermal energy that makes it environmentally sustainable. All hotel features are designed to provide a high level of happiness and home feeling.

And this beautifull, cosy and comfortable appartment is one thing, but above that comes the superservice of the manager. The whole building has been done with amazing taste and care. Check in was really easy with the new tech that runs throughout the building and the staff were so helpful throughout our stay. The apartment was cleaned daily which we appreciated and bed was really comfy. The restaurant attached to the apartments was also the best place we ate at throughout our whole stay in Sofia!

Tamara (10/5): Very modern, comfortable and quiet place not far from town - Fantastic rooms and hotel. Very modern place and very comfortable. We were upgraded to garden suite that was very spacious. Great self check in process and very friendly staff who accommodated early check in. Spotlessly clean. Nice common areas. Restaurant was closed for holidays when we were there so we can’t comment on it. Nice bathroom and bed and wifi worked well. Washing machine in common area was great and not promoted when booking but it is a big plus. Very quiet, no street noise at all. Very close to walk to main part of city etc but area isn’t the nicest area of town , but fine to walk in the day, preferred not to walk around there at night but one minute from tram stops etc to be able to go anywhere very quickly and easily. Comfortable lounge and nice kitchen facilities if needed. Everything was great and perfect and we would stay again and recommend to others. Location isn’t there best but it is very close to main part of town and many trams just near property and very quiet.

Anna (7/5): Good - It is located in the centre. Very clean and neat, nice detailing everywhere. Amazing stuff, welcoming and helpful. Easy cardless and keyless access. Quite a big room with an equipped kitchen. The location is a bit odd, and there is a construction work going on right in front of the hotel currently. Mattress is too soft, though I'm not picky with it usually, but I got back pain after the second night, same as the pillows small and too soft. Overall, I didn't feel comfortable in the space, but that's just to my taste, apparently, as I never had an experience of staying in a room with such a design before. Wanted to try something new. Also, the system used in the hotel doesn't provide AC, but geothermal cooling, which was not very sufficient at our stay plus we couldn't open the windows due to construction noise. Restaurant downstairs opens at 12 pm, and the menu is quite limited, like concept ones.
John (10/5): Stylish and comfortable base for exploring central Sofia - An excellent location in a quiet area but only 7 minutes walk from the central Serdica metro station which was easily reached directly from the airport. The apartment was super stylish and comfortable. We really appreciated the brilliant responses from Lydia who arranged separate building access codes so we could leave our luggage there outside check-in and check-out times - this was a great help. The Komat restaurant, run by the same team, was superb too. No downsides at all - I wish we had stayed longer. Will certainly recommend it to friends.

Location is good, not prime. Acoustic isolation isn't great if there's noise in the hotel or outside but that's a bit of a pet peeve

All bathroom amenities, slippers, even a yoga mat. The kitchen is fully equipped if you suddenly want to cook something. We could hear any noises from restaurant garden downstairs (we stayed in 2nd floor) in the morning and evening, even with all windows closed. But it was only a minor point compared to the rest the apt. provided.

Borja (10/5): High quality even in the small details. - Impeccable cleanliness, super comfortable bed, design of both the facilities and the room with many details and care (wonderful reclining ceiling), absolute comfort with the application of Goki and special mention for the cleaning ladies and Lydia the hostess super attentive without me saying anything worried about the temperature of the room immediately as they felt it was a little hot for not having kept the roof closed. The apartment is equipped with all kinds of details such as Nespresso and quality utensils. My congratulations to the establishment, when I go to Sofia for work I will definitely come back to ask to book there if there is availability. Quality even in the smallest details. Everything

We took over most of the hotels, as we had 8 of the rooms - all instructions were so easy to follow. The owners have built a true diamond in the rough. Lydia - made our trip so seamless, she was contactable before we arrived and then did everything she could to make the stay efficient and homely, ive stayed in some incredible hotels around the world, and she is by far the best host/hotel manager i've met! I will be recommending this hotel to all guests i know going to Sofia. Absolutely nothing - was perfect accomodation.
