Guest Reviews
- Kara (10/5): Nice room in great location near train - Cute room in an apartment building near the train station. It's a bit small for 2 people, but perfect for 1 night before flying out of Rome to return home.
- Guylaine (8/5): - Good location close to the train station and good restaurants.
The best part of this property is Sophie. She was super helpful and responsive, suggested great places to eat. She is definitely an asset.
- Thomas Andrew (10/5): - This was perfect for what we were looking for. The room was clean and tidy and great location.
- Donna (6/5): - The host was friendly.
The room was 4min walk to Roma Termini for the train or airport shuttle which was handy.
But the area in general felt unsafe, had to walk a distance for food, the bed was hard and pillows flat as a pancake.
The bedding could be upgraded for the price paid.
- alexandria (4/5): - Sophie was a very sweet host. The scarf and small bottle of champagne was a nice touch. Room was clean and cute rustic look, but this was more of a hostel than a hotel. It was one small, private room with a small, private bathroom, shared small kitchen. The kitchen had a small espresso or coffee maker, but I couldn't find any coffee or sugar. I brought food in one night and the light went out every 20 seconds so I'd have to wave my arm because I couldn't find the switch to keep the light on while I ate. The beds were hard and uncomfortable for a side sleeper. There was a bright green light above the door that was on all night, no idea what it was. The shower was so small I had to fold my shoulders in to turn around in it. The door to the communal kitchen isn't sound proof at all either so we were woken by people talking every morning plus the elevator going. The location was pretty close to the train station which was nice but not in the nicest area I'd say. Another person in the building referred to it as a "ghetto area". Sorry, but I would not recommend this "hotel".
- lisa (2/5): - Not as advertised
- Laura (8/5): - We had fantastic communication from Sophia organizing our arrival time (which there was some flexibility around which was amazing) She was incredibly sweet. The room was very cute and as advertised. The location was convenient location very close to the train station. The area seemed a little run down but we felt completely safe walking around in the evening to dinner. Overall it was a great place to stay for our needs and a lovely host.
The only downside was that while we were there the elevator was broken and the room was on the fifth floor. A very nice man carried my moms suitcase up but it was unfortunate since we had to get the bags down too.
- Daniella (8/5): - The property is in a prime location. So close to great food and attractions.
- Verified traveler (10/5): Recommended - Nice stay. Short distance from Termini. We will come back 🇮🇹
- Juan Jose (10/5): - The locación is excelent and the roon is nice.
- Victoria (10/5): - Great place to spend a stopover in rome. The host was super helpful and accomodating and the room was clean with a very comfortable bed
- Edward (10/5): - Owner-hostess was very quick to return messages, very kind, very accommodating
Conveniently located
Don’t let the building fool u, the rooms are great for the price
- Adam (10/5): - Short walking distance to 2 train stations, lots of things to do within walking distance, check in was easy, the owner was great to work with.
This isn’t a hotel. It is more like an AirBnB. Everything was very clean and well managed.
- Emma (10/5): - Host was so great in responding. The room was just as it was advertised and was in an area close to transportation and all of the sites we wanted to see! Great stay:)
- Catherine (8/5): - Nice room. Close to main train terminal. Staff was very friendly and helpful.
- Maya (10/5): - Only stayed for one day, it was quiet and very clean! Good location
- Ashraf (10/5): - The host was great and accommodating. She allowed us to keep our luggage there so we could make the most of our last day. She also provided surprised, which put a special touch. There was also free coffee.
- Robert (10/5): - Went out of way to make our very late ETA work.
- Denise (6/5): - Good location check-in went well. They left us gifts which was a special touch. Air conditioning was appreciated.
- Jack (10/5): - Stayed for 3 nights, it’s really lovely apartment. 5-10 minute walk from Termini station and 20 - 30 minute walk from the big attractions. Also lots of restaurants, cafes and bars with a 10 minute walk, all with excellent food and drinks!
The apartment was clean and perfect for our city break! It was very hot around the city but our room was natural very cool and even better with the AC. The bathroom was fairly small however felt more spacious than it initially looked.
Sophie was an excellent host and met us at a drop of a hat when we got a bit lost!
Highly recommend staying here, was a perfect place for us! Just beware you’ll do a lot of walking.
- Jason (10/5): - Good
- Sam (10/5): - Nice staff
- Tyler (10/5): - Cute little place on the 5th floor of a building. Great location, walking distance to the train station and city center. Good value and friendly staff. Thank you!
- Evelyn (10/5): - We had a very nice stay. The room we had was a good size. They even gave us very cute gifts when we arrived! The place is very close to transportation, which helped. I definitely recommend!
- Kaitlyn (10/5): - Close to the Colosseum and train station.
- Mary Ellen (10/5): - Sophie greeted us warmly and explained the keys very well. only things we would recommend would be adding softer pillows and adding a few knives and forks and herbal teas. The showet was hot and comfortable . The room was picturesque.
- David (10/5): - Excellent stay, great location and customer service
- Katherine (8/5): - Clean cozy space, conveniently located near the Rome Termini station
- Lucas (10/5): - Close to the Termini, which made us chose this B&B, and walkable to the main tourist attractions was convenient. The room and bathroom is small but very comfortable
- BENJAMIN (10/5): Beautifully designed, friendly staff - Very helpful and friendly staff. The room is beautifully designed & in an interesting old building. The bed was generally comfortable, but having one side against a wall made it difficult for one of us to get in and out of the bed, although we understand that there was no other choice given space limitations. The location is conveniently near the train station, although some (but not all) of the streets between the hotel and the station are a bit iffy.
- Chris (10/5): A Great Home Base for Exploring Rome - I spent a week solo in Rome, staying in this clean, comfortable little apartment. It is within walking distance of a number of sites, and is very near public transportation. Very enjoyable.
- Sokdina (8/5): - Sophie was very helpful with the check in and communicative throughout our stay. It was a tight space for two people but we made it work. The downsides would be the shower being instantly flooded with poor drainage which could be due to it being an old building, the faint smell of something rancid on our first night, and no iron and iron board to use in our room. Other than that, I would recommend if you are looking for something inexpensive, okay with tight spaces, and close to the train station.
- Brian (8/5): - This was overall a good place. You have to know:
This is an apartment in a building. There is no sign outside so you have to know the address.
There is no reception on site. Someone will meet you which means you have to know your arrival time. Also at the end if you left something behind after the door locks behind you you are out of luck.
No breakfast but they have a coffee machine in the common area.
Close to Rome Termini station.
Host gave us good restaurant recommendations.
Room was clean, quaint with exposed brick and beams. Bed comfy, wifi worked.
On the 5th floor but has an elevator.
- Guilherme (10/5): Excelente! Recomendo!
- Doug (10/5): - Had a great time in the Guest House, room was very clean and charming. Sophie did a great job explaining how to get to the room and get into it. 15 minute walk to the Colosseum so not bad at all. Would go again!
- Cathy (10/5): - The place was clean. The beds were really comfortable
- Beth (8/5): Nice 2 U stay - If you are looking for a budget friendly place close to Termini that is clean and has a very nice attentive host, this is it.
The area is not fantastic. My husband and I lived in a city for several years, so we were ok with it, but if you are looking for a traditional hotel, this is not it.
We felt very safe with the security of the building and being several floors up.
The interior was charming with the exposed beams. The bathroom was updated and clean. The bed was comfortable. The host had sweet gifts waiting for us. There is a common area with coffee.
- Rainer (8/5): - Very close to Metro. Walking distance to most attractions. Nothing fancy but very functional. Room was tight for space. Nice treats on arrival. Sophie was lovely.
- William (10/5): - Good location. Our host Sophie was excellent and always available.
- Ariana (6/5): - Property was conveniently located. Close to the train, restaurants and main amenities. Walkable distance to colosseum and Trevi fountain and host was responsive and pleasant to deal with.
Room itself is quite small with not a lot of room for luggage. Shared kitchen space is decent but noise does travel through to the suite if other guests use it. There’s also an emergency light within the suite so the room doesn’t go into full darkness at night (recommend packing a sleep mask.) The mattress also wasn’t to our liking but weren’t not use to a memory foam style.
Overall suite is ok. Manageable.
- Marcel (10/5): - Very nice staff
- Ronan (4/5): - Very basic would not return
- Vanessa (8/5): Lovely Host - The host was absolutely lovely and welcoming, ensuring everything was perfectly arranged and even allowing us to check in early. Her thoughtful gesture of giving us New Year’s gifts added a personal and generous touch to our stay. The bed was very comfortable, as was the rest of the space.
While the bathroom wasn’t as spotless as I would have liked (I’m a bit of a clean freak), it wasn’t dirty. The room was smaller than expected but worked well for my husband and me for the night. The host also went out of her way to provide recommendations for places to visit on New Year’s Eve, which we really appreciated.
The room is part of an apartment with other rooms and a shared common area/kitchen—not what we expected but still a unique setup. The neighborhood has a strong Asian community influence, which was interesting to explore. However, I didn’t feel entirely safe at night after witnessing an unsettling incident involving a purse snatching. That said, nothing happened to us, and most people kept to themselves.
Overall, it was a great stay with a wonderful host and a comfortable space.
- Dan (10/5): In rome - My stay was very nice i was a little shocked at the room at fiirst but upgraded to a better room. I have to say that the description of the property seemed a little bit off and realizing the set-up was not what i would've normally booked it one apartment with four bedrooms and a shared kitchen. Iwas lucky because no one else was there during my stay and if you don't mind sharing a kitchen it's okay but icould see how it might get a little chaotic if two or more groups were there at the same time. Good location within easy walking distance to.most of the sites.
