Guest Reviews
- Mark (9/5): -
- Paula (9/5): we had an amazing time - The House was beautiful. Had everything we needed.
location was beautiful. Very Quiet. I did not like the glass doors in the bathroom, didn't feel private.
The lighting was terrible, we came over for a wedding and with 4 female adults trying to get ready we needed better light. A full length mirror would have been nice as well.
- Maria (8/5): -
- Elizabeth (8/5): - The house is lovely The train line is pretty close
- Megan (8/5): - The accommodation was very comfortable & very clean. A few suggestions-
Dishwasher would be a great addition with a bigger group staying.
We were attending a wedding so just one full length mirror.
We would have used the outdoor area more if was made a bit more appealing.
- Bronte (10/5): Great little spot for a group in the highlands - Location was perfect for a weekend in Moss Vale. The house was beautifully presented and worked well for our group of 6 and a baby. They provided a porta cot which was a great bonus and made life a lot easier for the group.
- courtney (9/5): - The house was fab. Super clean, host had thought of everything we could need or use- heated blankets for beds, kitchen supplies -coffee pods etc, firewood, blankets in lounge, furniture was comfy, practical and new, great big, new bathroom Beds were uncomfortable.
- Brooke (5/5): Not as relaxing as we had hoped - House was well set out and nicely decorated. The beds were very uncomfortable.
The house is located next to the train line with trains running during the night there is some noise.
- Bronte (10/5): - Lovely property. Had everything we need and was very comfortable.

- Daniel (10/5): - We loved the location of the house , It felt very private and the furnishings and decor were beautiful. Everything we needed for a lovely weekend .. an extra bonus were the wild bunnies and the pot belly fire .. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Thank you . Our host kept us updated with all the information . 😀 10 stars 🌟
- Sophie (8/5): -
- Susan (10/5): Looking forward to a return booking. - Beautifully furnished Loved the log fire. Limited parking. Body wash in the bathroom would have been helpful.
- Filita Rodriguez (8/5): Thoroughly enjoyed our stay, would come back again. - Location was great, very quiet. House was comfortable. You couldn't park your car inside the property. Would be great if this was available, as the space is there.
- Declan (8/5): Great spot. - The location is right off the main drag of Moss Vale so very well situated. Its a beautiful house. Very tastefully renovated with a beautiful yard. The fire place was fantastic. The owner said they'd left enough wood for one night of fire but it was enough maybe for like an hour? Had to pay for more out of my own pocket. Also, this isnt a bad thing I just found it strange, but every wall hanging in the whole house was askew? Very weird
- Christine (4/5): - Beds terrible , and DAMP walls in Master Bedroom a concern .
- Carleen (9/5): Perfect little place for a stay at moss vale. Highly recommend - Great location and very spacious cottage. Plenty of heating options for winter. Main light was out in the main bedroom. Side lamp was working, so we could manage.
- Elizabeth (10/5): My daughter was getting married and it was the perfect place for her to get ready for her wedding. It - Gorgeous cottage and extremely comfortable, warm and cosy. Perfectly located in Moss Vale.
We were able to walk to the pub.
- Molly (8/5): Perfect for a girls weekend! - The location was perfect! Being slightly away from the rest of the street made it really feel like a hideaway cottage! Was perfect for a girls weekend away!
- Tabitha (8/5): Very good - The house size, room sizes and amenities were good. The touches of toys in the kids room was lovely. Very happy Mattresses felt well worn and in need of a replacement. Other than that, great place!
- Nicole (9/5): Very cute little cottage, in an easy location. Clean and tidy. Relaxing. -
- Sharon (10/5): Exceptional - Extremely clean property. Beautiful cottage and great facilities. Best booking or airbnb that isn't a hotel or resort I've stayed in.
- Deanne (10/5): Exceptional -
- Natasha (9/5): Such a cute but comfortable place to stay! The photos don't do it justice - Everything! Much bigger than it looks but also nice and cosy. Nothing!
- Vincent (9/5): Superb -
- Dorothy (9/5): Quiet secluded little spot close to everything in the Southern Highlands :a pleasure to stay there. - This place is just wonderful - perfect location (quiet, private and tucked away and yet close to everything) and the house and garden are a delight. We would definitely stay again. Jonathan was at the end of the text line and everything went smoothly - thank you for a fabulous short break. The only possible thing I wanted was another tea towel! It doesn't have a dishwasher, but actually that was part of getting back to a slower and calmer day and I was quite happy with that. Just needed another drying cloth.... :-)
- Ismail (9/5): Superb - Clean, tidy, tasteful, functional. Straight forward in terms of dealing with owner & instructions, was a great stay.
Would do it again!
Great location, a lot of effort has been put into the property. Tv is in the front room rather than the back room which is more functional.
The T.V is not a smart tv & could not hot spot or mirror anything. Survived off mobile.
Don't recall there was wifi (minor thing).
Queen in 2nd room (non-main) was tilted & so guests didn't have the best sleep. Mattress was uncomfortable however, main bedroom bed (king) was comfortable.
Pillows were very high, no lower pillow alternatives (minor thing).
Some of the fans weren't working, could be due to batteries however, air-cons (both) were great.
No tissue box (minor), not enough toilet paper.
Otherwise, was an excellent stay. Would do it again.
- John (9/5): Wonderful location, lovely, charming house, great host. - Location was great, the house was charming and well presented. The town is very pretty, and the neighbourhood was very quite. Even the fact that the railway was only 200 meters away, the property was not effected...in fact the sound of the slow moving trains was calmning. Beds were uncomfortable. This factor let the house down. You can get mattress toppers for $60 from Kmart. Really easy fix.
- Gerry (9/5): We had an amazing time and the cottage is a perfect location if looking forward to a getaway. - The Property was lovely and clean. Great location and Jonathon was great to deal with. I would stay here again. The outside needed to be trimmed and shown a bit of love but it was still nice to sit outside and enjoy the fresh air.
- Kay (7/5): Good - Very clean and nicely appointed Didn't like that the lawns and garden were so overgrown. No radio and only free to air TV only
- Alisa (10/5): Would recommend for families or small groups, well positioned and caters for all the needs! Very homely and comfortable! - So well located, short drive to all we wanted to do. Very private and quiet! All the home comforts were provided and even a few extra things with didn’t expect in the way of kitchen items! Clean and well presented, the bath was a luxury to enjoy and there were plenty of books, games and outdoor activities! This would be hard to say, we liked to all! We are already planning the next trip back!
- Jacqui (8/5): Lovely cottage in great location. - Lovely interior and surroundings of property.
Great heating options.
Great location. No wifi.
No dishwasher.
The bathroom was very cold, no heating in there.
The complimentary teabags had mould on them - probably just due to the dampness of the place in winter.
- Paula (9/5): Highway cottage - The house was beautiful little cottage in a quite street we stay 3 nights had my son wedding great wood fire and gas heating. Johnathan was very easy to deal with and very helpful had a extra person and the 2 kids stay he was so helpful The only thing I can say is that it didn't have WiFi
- Bryce (10/5): Excellent - Everything was made easy by the owners! The room with the two single beds - just good to warm they are kids sized as we had a 6 foot make in one and he was a little uncomfortable outside that everything was great
- Molloy (8/5): Very good - Very well appointed house and in a nice location.
Loved the big bath and kitchen facilities excellent. Good heating apart from bathroom.
Lovely outdoor area. The bathroom was damp even wet and was hard to get dry...toilet appeared to be leaking ?? Appreciate it was very cold and wet throughout the weekend so ventilation difficult. Potentially a risk though of someone falling. Condensation was an issue.
- Szilvia (10/5): Amazing vacation - It’s beautifully decorated, loved the fireplace and in a great location to discover the Southern Highlands. Jonathan was amazing and incredibly helpful, easy and flexible check in. We had an amazing stay.
- Andrew (9/5): Superb -
- Kate (4/5): No Wi-Fi, Poor Service but Cute Cottage - Lovely old cottage and gardens The bedroom lights weren’t working. There was no WIFI. The bathroom isn’t ventilated well enough so gets a lot of condensation build up and could become a slip hazard. Host requested a lot of clean up before leaving which seems unnecessary if we are also paying cleaning fees. The host was also not very responsive when I asked for help with the lights not working.
- Vaidehi (7/5): Good - Great location. Booked as accommodation for wedding close by. Leaking due to heavy rain
- Eliza (7/5): Lovely appointed house with nice decor. Two living areas with large dining table. - Bedrooms were generous and comfortable.
Outside space.
Dining room table big.
Use of laundry if needed.
Well equipped kitchen No wifi
No bbq
Advertised two outdoor areas, only could see one.
No dishwasher.
Bathroom ventilation bad even with window fully open all the time
Needs blind for toilet view
- Stephen (10/5): Relaxing home away from home. - Lovely neat cute spacious cottage with modern conveniences. Close to amenities. Lack of privacy in bathroom. Owner did warn about that, so all good.
- Beverley (8/5): Very good -
- Xin (9/5): Superb - Newly renovated interior, comfortable place to stay, close to everything. Great place to be away from the city life. Privacy protection for bathroom needs to improve asap (glass doors facing directly to another property, can't see through daytime but an issue at night).
Some cooking essentials (salt/oil etc) past best-before time
- Dennis (8/5): Very enjoyable and relaxing. - Very comfy beds. Close to shopping area. My wife commented that she would have liked a curtain on the back door to prevent view into the bathroom.
- Amanda (9/5): Excellent house - would happily stay again. - House was terrific. The bathroom was amazing but a heater in there would have been appreciated.
