• Sheilla Natasya Suhaimi (10/5): - What I love from this place is from the beginning when Xiao Yang picked me up at the Dali Railway Station, it was a comfortable ride. I told him that I wanted to rest for a while as the previous morning tour to the Kunming At ne Forest and Danchi lake was rather exhausting...Ok, so upon my arrival at the Dali Dare Sea View Guesthouse I was welcomed by so many friendly people! We exchanged conversations via the translation app and when they realised that I haven't eaten this late evening except for the lunch at 12 noon during the tour because I was busy chasing the time to reach Kunming Railway Station and not to miss the Bullet train (2hr 4m) journey at 18:15 hours. As I ended the tour at 16:30 and reached Wenxing Pedestrian street at 17:30, I had to rush and so that's why! With an empty stomaches I journeyed to Dali... After the conversations were exchanged, my guesthouse owner and their son I assume were kind enough to offer me vegetarian noodle soup ( which suits my diet as I need HALAL food henceforth I will avoid meat strictly). Then ma'am Introduced me to a 20 years old Pu'er Tea of Yunan specialty! Gosh it was amazing! And it soothes away my period cramps too! I really love the attention for their care towards me! Then after dinner I settled the payment using Alipay ( guys as y'all know China is the most effective country for payment, as you don't need the old traditional method of card paywave) as I tried my wechat weixin pay cannot go through(my guess is due to the huge amount) so with Alipay it works👏🏻So remember Alipay is important ah! Ok! So ya the store n of theirs assisted to carry my huge big luggage to the 3rd floor. The quietest floor, that made me wepl rested and woke up only at 07:30am in the morning. The bed is comfy, the toilet has BIDET so it's heavenly for me who uses water to wash and clean myself. The view of the room in the morning was truly spectacular too! I'll post below the pictures! Nope, nothing that I dislike!

• Naiyu (10/5): - The room had a beautiful view, and the host couple was so welcoming and kind. My mom wasn’t feeling well because of the altitude, and the host actually took her to see a doctor and get medicine - we were really grateful for that. When I was checking out, I accidentally left my skincare products in the room, and they were sweet enough to mail them to me. We really appreciate everything the hosts did for us. It’s a great place for families who want to just chill and explore around Erhai Lake. Just heads up though - it’s pretty far from most ancient towns and the traffic in Dali is pretty bad, like at least an hour by taxi and drivers are driving like crazy. If you’re staying around here, I’d definitely suggest booking a car ahead of time.

• Rose (10/5): Wonderful and relaxing stay - I had an enjoyable stay here. The owners of the guesthouse were so friendly and their hospitality was top notched. It was such a homely stay and the room was big with a great view of the Erhai Lake and CangShan. They also have a resident cat who is super cute and fluffy. Location was abit further away from the city but I had no issues booking a taxi.

The lady host Gao was exceptionally gracious, and host Li personally prepare dinner for us on our first night there, as we arrived at Dali late and were too tired to go out for dinner. They served vegetarian food, but food was really delicious. They also arranged for food delivery for us too. About 20 mins drive from the main city, quiet and nice for a retreat from the hustle and bustle. Will come back again definitely. Nil

The room was clean and spacious with a beautiful view from the balcony. The hosts were lovely and super welcoming. Had the best mi xian (rice noodles) for breakfast! The location is a bit isolated - it’s about 30 mins drive to Dali Ancient Town but it was also nice being away from the crowds. Highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Dali.
• Keng (10/5): Perfect place for a retreat. - View for the lake, cleanliness, helpful staff. Not easy to hail a ride, as location is difficult to pin on the APP. Need staff to explain to drivers picking us.
• Ian (10/5): Exceptional - The location is at the top of the hill, take around 20 min from the Dali Train station to the hotel. Its best to take a taxi there as its on the hill and the taxi can stop right infront of the hotel. The owner is very friendly and generous. He offered dinner and breakfast is included. We had vegetarian noodle for breakfast and all the food is vegan friendly. The room was comfortable and the view was stunning, overlooking the Erhai Lake. Overall the hotel is gorgeous and the onwer is very friendly.

Li and Gao were awesome hosts, they helped us arrange cars for our travel, the vegetarian breakfast was delicious, the room and the view were spectacular, they played wonderful music on Chinese instruments "Chi Ba" and "Gu Qin", so peaceful. Highly recommended!
