• Gelfiya (7/5): OK overall, but will not return - The apartment is spacious, clean, high quality, has all the necessary amenities, including toiletries. The host is responding fast and tries his best to help. Housekeeping ladies were very nice and friendly. The apartment is in a building that is still under construction, the elevator was not working throughout my stay (apartment is on the 4th floor), location is not good, no nice cafes around and everywhere you’d need to take a taxi (which is cheap in Cairo). It is OK to spend a night between your flights, but not more than that.

• kate (7/5): Convenient for a short airport stay, but reliability and basic amenities need improvement. - The flat itself was fine, clean, new, and well maintained. The location is very close to the airport, which was the main reason we chose it since we only needed a place to stay for a few hours before an early morning flight. Check-in was smooth and straightforward with no issues. There were a couple of problems. There was only hot water in the ensuite bathroom. The second bathroom and the kitchen had no hot water at all, which was inconvenient. They also offer airport transport for $10 USD. We booked this in advance and received confirmation that the car would be at the entrance at 4am as requested. At 4am, there was no car. We had to book an Uber instead and waited about 20 minutes before one became available. This created unnecessary stress before an early flight.

The front desk guy tried so hard to help me, even though we had a language barrier. He did his best There were no towels, even though I asked for some, I never received them, and I did not have a phone in my room to call down to the front desk to re-request the towels

• Tori (10/5): Exceptional - -Close to the airport and very nicely furnished comfortable and clean apartment. -Perfect for a night layover or if you want to stay close before a flight. -Responsive host -Didnt give many directions on how to check in prior to arriving. I had to inquire myself. -Transport service to airport at the time of stay was 500 LE or 10usd which we had a ride previously from giza about an hour away for only 20usd and on uber was only 200LE to airport but did book anyway as we wanted security of knowing someone would be available as it was an early morning flight.

We arrived after dark and they went and bought water for us - way cheaper than we were buying it ourselves. We didn’t have any towels at first but they found some quickly for us. • Holly (10/5): A close place next to the airport to catch an early flight, but would’ve liked to stay longer - Only stayed there one night really quick so we could catch an early flight in the morning. But the room was big and well decorated and the bed was comfortable. Everything was great

• Raluca (7/5): Comfortable if certains issues fixed - The flat had a good size, with new and comfortable furniture, great beds and a nice living room. It was ideal in principle for a short stay before a very early flight (we left the flat at 2am), it’s 10 min ride from the airport. Biggest problem was that the water heater was short circuiting after 1-2min after being switched in (manually, a button in the bathroom). This was clearly a problem before, as we found the handle of the shower tap on a shelf, so somebody must have already fiddle with it. I wrote to the property manager and they sent someone immediately but he was not an electrician so nothing could be done. Also there were no towels in the property (only hand towels), the same person brought us some, but late and no hot water. It would have been nice to have bed lamps as well, annoying to have to get out of bed to switch off the light. And also pay attention with the uber rides, because the distance is very small (and hence the price) many drivers let you wait and then cancel. We finally managed to get someone to come and paid 3x the de price (which was still less than 10 euros in the end) but it seemed lucky. Maybe the shuttle is better depending on price ..

When large volume water drains, water goes under cabinet. This was no problem for me but would save on repairs. 3 be sure tenant knows no hot plate with studio.
